Street Fight

Two days passed, the news came that Kenichi has finally beaten his bully, then the next day of training he came crying and grabbed Akisame by the collar with desperation.

"I need your help, please something!" Kenichi cried. "Do anything!"

Ohma stood on the side and Sakaki was unable to comprehend anything. This guy was just acting so happy yesterday now he is crying again.

"What all the ruckus about?" Another old voice entered the room.

"Ah, Elder..." Akisame looked at him.

Miu walked beside him advised, "Grandfather has more experience with this, maybe he can help you."

The Elder moved his massive size and sat near Kenichi.

"Tell me what's the problem?" He asked.

Kenichi stopped whining about explained as calmly as he could. "You know the bully I had beaten."

"I couldn't help but know, that's all you were talking about yesterday."

"Yes, now it turns out that guy is a member of the strongest delinquent gang around. Now they are trying to find to probably to beat the shit out of me." Kenichi cried.

"I see the problem has worsened." The Elder stroked his beard. "But I do have a plan for you."

Kenichi's eyes lit up. "A plan you say?"

"It's called 'Fight and Fight' until I am the last one standing."

"I don't want to do that."

"There is also 'Run and Run forever' until you get caught plan."

"I am leaving this place." Kenichi tried to stand but Miu held him down.

Sakaki: "Hehehe, once you start a fight, you can't stop halfway."

Kensei: "Got it?!"

Akisame: "If the opponent is knowledgeable, we have no choice to train in a quick and timely manner or face defeat."

Shigure: "The enemy will probably use weapons."

Sakaki then said with nostalgia, "Takes me back to school days. I fought 50 gang members who surrounded my house.

Kensei: "Mine was 80."

Sakaki: "My next time was twice the amount."

Kensei: "Mine also carried guns."

Ohma then chipped it, "You guys are nothing. I had a karate master, grown-ass murders and gang leaders with guns ganging up on me."

"Well, I am not as trained as you guys." Kenichi cried.

"Kenichi," The Elder said, "you took your path now prepare yourself. I'll tell you a story of a martial artist; a man in his burning youth recklessly took on 500 martial artists at once. Once you go down this path, whether you want it or not, someone will start a fight. Day by day that man had no choice but to destroy dojo after dojo, by the time it all ended the person was an old man."

The Elder then pointed at himself, "That person was me."

"That was pretty deep," Akisame remarked.

"But it wouldn't help defeat a former professional mama fighter." Kenichi cried.

"MMA," Apachai corrected.

Ohma's ears perked. Akisame look at him, "Who do you mean by a former professional MMA fighter?"

"My bully's cousin, he was in the nationals for Absolute Fights but was later kicked out for doing charges. Now he wants to take all that anger because of it out on me." Kenichi cried.

"Now that would be a serious -- for you." The Elder commented.

"It would take you some time to reach that level," Akisame added.

"Then what do I do? That guy would be waiting for me tomorrow outside the school." Kenichi cried.

"Well, we have no choice but to train you harder," Kensei suggested.

"There is also another option in which you don't fight and this guy would stop targeting you." Ohma interrupted.

Kenichi's eyes widened. "What is it?"

The other masters looked with interest.

"Why don't I take this fight for you?"

Everybody except Shigure and Elder looked at him with surprise.

"Really are you sure?" Kenichi asked, his voice low.

"Yeah or do you want to take this one against all odds," Ohma said.

Kenichi remained silent for a moment then looked to the other master as though he wanted their advice on this.

"It would be a tough fight for you at the current level," Akisame said. "But it would be a good experience and it would also solve Kenichi's problem."

Kenichi looked back at Ohma with an unsure expression.

-Next day

Ohma arrived in front of Kenichi's School 45 minutes before the closing time. There was a man in his mid-twenties with a muscular light heavyweight build and short black hair. He rested against his motorbike just starting at the closed school gate.

Ohma approached him, "Looking for something."

The man looked at him. "Yeah, some asshole violent delinquent."

"This place is filled with violent delinquents," Ohma said. "What makes this one special?"

"This one attacked my brother. He missed a tournament because of him. Besides, why are you here? For an autograph?"

"I don't even who you are," Ohma stated.

"Mistu Tsubaka is so easily forgotten." The man said revealing his name. "Months ago I was making the combat sports headlines."

"I don't follow combat sports that much," Ohma said.

"Is that so," Mistu muttered with sad eyes. "Besides what's your name?"

"Kenichi Shirahama," Ohma said, smiling.

Mistu's eyes widened, his arms reached for Ohma's neck but were caught in a hard grip a moment later.

"You want to do this," Ohma said. "Then let's go."

Ohma jumped back, releasing Mitsu's hands and taking his stance.

Mistu got off his bike and growled, "You will pay for that."

Mistu was the first to make a move, going in for a superman punch. Ohma guarded, Mistu's not even a meter away withdrew his fish, ducked and went for a takedown on Ohma's legs.

Ohma jumped back with legs back and body inclined, catching Mistu in a sprawl. The takedown failed, Mistu kept the push as Ohma's feet were dragged back towards the wall.

Ohma growled, kicked the ground with feet and used the other for a hard knee to Mitsu's face. Ohma felt the knee's impact, Mistu snapped back, his lip split and bleeding.

Before Mitsu could regain balance Ohma went in for a low kick to the back of the leg. Ohma didn't stop and kept coming with fast punches. Mistu ducked and weaved like a well-trained boxer. He tried to create a distance but Ohma was quick and delivered a strong kick to the upper arm.

Mistu tried countering with a right hook but Ohma was faster when he rushed in catching him in a Muay Thai clinch before delivering a hard knee. Ohma heard the groan from Mitstu, then went in for a second knee, then a third and before the fourth Mistu swung his fist hard at Ohma's face. Ohma jumped back.

'That's going to leave a bruise.' Ohma thought before he felt his legs leaving the ground contact. Another takedown, this one was successful as Ohma's back hit the hard ground.

Ohma raised his arm in a guard before Mistu came in with a flurry of punches. The punches came fast but then stopped as Ohma saw a chance during pullback and grasped Mitsu's arm into a triangle lock.

Mitsu winced in pain but tried standing and stomped on Ohma. Ohma dodged rolling away, Mistu's arm still in his grasp. Ohma rolled as he saw Mitsu raise his feet for another stomp, pulling Mitsu back onto the ground. At the same time, Ohma's grip loosened and Mitsu tried to get back on Ohma. He didn't get the chance as Ohma caught him in a headlock and filled him over by his head.

Mistu found his grounding and rolled pulling off a reversal on Ohma. Mistu was back on top, sending a barrage of punches on Ohma who kept his guard up again. Mitsu's arm was caught by Ohma again like before, this time he didn't go for Triangle lock, instead pulled Mistu close and placed his arm behind his back in a Kimura lock. Mistu winced under Ohma's arm and started putting short hits with his other arm on Ohma's ribs until he was released.

There was a series of ground scramble went on between them, someone Mistu one top sending barrage of punches or Ohma putting him in another joint lock. After a bit, Mistu was back on top sending a barrage of punches fueled by the adrenaline rush, stronger than before, pinning Ohma to the ground.

Ohma's feet sprawled to find grounding, Mitsu kept punching shifting all his upper body weight on it, this was Ohma's chance. He pushed his hip up like a ramp throwing Mistu off him.

"I will end you." Ohma heard Mitsu's voice said behind him. He rolled and turned but Mistu caught him and thew him onto the ground, Ohma tried standing but was greeted with a kick the face. His vision blurred and his face hit the ground again.

"Stay down." He heard Mitsu's voice growling above him. Ohma smiled, he jumped onto his feet, jumped and delivered an uppercut right below Mitsu's chin in once clean motion.

Ohma stood trying to gain his balance. Mitsu near him shook his head preventing the dizziness that came with the uppercut.

He lifted his face to see Ohma smiling through bloody teeth. In a blinding motion Ohma rushed towards, Mitsu ducked going for a takedown, his arms were around Ohma's legs then a sharp elbow smashed into the temple, his vision went blurry again.

"I will be the one to end this." Ohma grasped Mistu by his collar and belt and threw him off his centre of gravity.

'Redirection Kata: Change of Scenery.'

Mistu was thrown off ground, his vision was spinning so was he before came down hard on his shoulder with a crack. The sound of a broken shoulder.

"Thank you for reminding me that I need better opponents more than training."
