The Begining of a Journey

In a little town called Pallet Town in the region called Kanto. There lived a young boy of the name called Ash Ketchum he has a very thin yet mascular body with a pale skin color he is longer than most of the chlid of his age with a height of 5foot 2inch he has a messy black hair, brown eye, handsome face with two z marks on both side of his cheeks. He is very excited as Tomorrow will be a very special day for him because tomorrow will be his 10th brithday but only that he also finally can start his journey to become the very best pokemon master the world has ever seen.

Though Ash can't help but thinks back six years ago that has changed his life so much. Ash was not just like any other child of his age he knew it not by a long shot having knowledge of almost all the pokemon at the age of five is not a small feat even professor Oak became intrigued with him and considered him as a prodigy. he is not only just good at knowledge but also battling. Though Ash is considered smart by the people in Pallet Town and accepted by them but he always considered himself as an outcast the reason why you should ask him it is because of his powers that he possess. and it is something that have been bugging him since the day he learned about them by almost burning his own house at the age of five by something he calls flame beam. after the incident he fears so much his own powers that it takes 2 months for his mother and father to bring back the childfull Ash that they used to see eventhough he was not the same after the incident. he always lives in fear of hurting others from that very day.

Like a loving mother that she is Dalia always told Ash that he has very special gifts but for him it is just an curse. After learning that he has not only flame beam but also super speed, ice beam and super strength he become even more frightened that he might hurt his own friends and family even at some point he tried to seperate himself from the from his family and gone into the Veridian forest so that he can't hurt his family and stays there for two weeks. It takes a huge amount of Dalia's and Red's part to convince him and bring him back home. But now its not the time to think about the past now he have to focus on the future because tomorrow will be the day he will officially start his life as a pokemon trainer.

Ash loved pokemon ever since he was toddler he had read all the books about what he needed to know about pokemon. His father also helps him to learn tactics and strategies in battling with so much efficiency that at certain time Red has some difficulty to beat him in tactics. He had also read books about pokemon types and attacks, about medicine, and what the best way was to train pokemon.

And now we find Ash packing the last remaining of things to start his journey tomorrow. He had packed a sleeping back, a fishing rod, a bag to carry pokemon food in and a bag to carry medicine in and some twenty pokeballs. being the son of legendary Red Ketchum Ash knew that he had to very well prepared to start his journey. The people of Pallet Town have a very high expectations with him and he dont plan on breaking them. As he packed the last of his empty pokeball inside his bagpack he saw his mother and father entered his room.

"I see you have already packed your things Ash?" asked Red Ketchum the former kanto champion with a proudful smile on his face.

"yes dad i have already packed my things but not only that i have also decided which pokemon i will chose tomorrow." replied Ash with a child like excitement.

"my baby is going to be alone in his journey. I can't help but feel worried about you." said Dalia as she walks past Red and hugs Ash with all her might.

" mom you are embarrassing me." groaned Ash as he have been tightly hug by her although in normal circumstances any child will get suffocated by such pressure but for Ash it is just like butterfree landed on his shoulder.

"honey leave him be we both know that he is more than ready to begin his journey." said Red as he sits on the bed.

"I know Red that my Ash can take care of himself. but you can blame a mother having worried for his child" replied Dalia as she broke the hug and takes Ash to sit along with her in the bed next to Red.

" dont worry mom i promise i will call you every single day and tell you about my day ."said Ash as he glance at his mother.

" i know you will Ashy. but you have to promise me one thing?" asked Dalia as she stand in front of Ash with all her seriousness in her eyes." promose me that you will take care of yourself and you will only use your powers in extreme necessary"

Red sigh" Dalia you know that our son is a very responsible boy he won't use his powers unnecessaryly."

"yes mom i promise you i won't use my powers in public and be more Carefull while using it." Said Ash " and beside if bychance anyone find about my powers i will tell them that i am a aura user."

Dalia and Red cannot help but be proud of how smart their son is. "so son what pokemon will you chose?" asked Red

"i will choose a charmander just like you dad"replied Ash. Red has always been his role model since the day he watched his father battle.

" its getting late sweetie you should go back to bed you have a very big day tomorrow". said Dalia as she kissed her son on the forehead.

"ok mom ,good night dad, good night mom."said Ash as he went to sleep.

"good night Ash/sweetie" said Dalia and Red in unison after that they left the room.

'watchout world Ash Ketchum is coming' is the last thought of Ash as he drifted into blissful sleep.

NEXT MORNING

Ash woke up and started to stretch his arms and legs he then glanced at his poliwag watch and saw it is 5:00 AM he then look outside of his window and saw the sun is just rising up looking at his surrounding he saw only the some pidgey and pidgeotto are chirping in the trees. He then jumps from his window but instead of falling into the ground he started to levitate in mid air ' hmm might get this started i have one hour before mom wakes up lets see how much far i can go with my maximum of speed' thought Ash and then with a brust of speed he shot towards the sky. It is became a daily practice for Ash to understand the full extent of his power since the day he able to control them with the help of The Aura Guardians in Rota.

As he shot passed through the cloud with a speed that could surpass speed of light itself, he could see that the scenery below hasbeen changing from forest to lake to pokemon reserve to mountains in a rapid succession. After flying for more thirty minutes he decided return to his home. over the course of his trainning in Rota in the last three years Ash came to realize that he has strenght that could rival if not supass the strongest fighting type pokemon in the world.

As he reached his house he entered through the window and went to take a bath and then he put on his clothes. His clothing was a black t-shirt, with a blue and white jacket over, blue jeans, black and white sneakers and green fingerless gloves. He also wore a red and white hat that held a green mark on it. This hat was special to Ash; he won it from a contest the Pokémon league held. It took him one million postcards, but it was worth it. After checking everything was ready Ash ran downstairs.

Delia was in the kitchen when Ash entered. She had made toast, eggs and bacon for breakfast and had made some sandwiches for his journey. "Morning mum" said Ash. "Morning sweetie hows the birthday boy today?," asked Delia "i am feeling a new kind of energy in me today," Ash answered , as Delia walked upto Ash and hug him "ready for your journey sweetie? " yup i have packed everything the only thing missing is my starter." "ok then eat breakfast first then you can go to collect your starter" said Delia. "ok mom," said Ash as he sat and started to eat the breakfast. "mom i am done i will go and collect my Charmander." said Ash ,"ok sweetie i will be on the garden."replied Delia, Ash nodded and run towards Professor Oak's Labs.

Soon Ash was at Prof Oak's lab at last. He ran the doorbell and there at the door was Prof Oak. "Morning professor" said Ash. "Ah morning Ash?," said the professor." I am here to collect my starter Professor."said Ash, with determination in his eyes. Professor looked at Ash and become very nervous because he completely forget that Ash is also going to start his journey today as a pokemon trainer.

Ash noticed the nervousness in professor face and ask,"is something wrong professor?" Professor look at Ash with a sad look and said,"i am sorry Ash i dont have any starter left for you, i am sorry that i forget that you also become eligible to become a pokemon trainer." Ash looked at professor in shock, he waited for this moment for five years and now his cannot start his journey to become a pokemon trainer. Ash looked down at the floor on his eyes started to become wet. "isn't there anything you can do for me professor?"asked Ash.

Prof.Oak looked at Ash with guilt written on his face how could he forget about Ash it is his duty to know about the number of trainer that will began their journey today, it is his duty to keep atleast two starter pokemon for emergency. and now because of him a very talented pokemon trainer cannot started his journey. no he cannot allow that if he cannot give the traditional started then he will give Ash atleast a pokemon to start his journey. " Ash there is a pokemon that i have and i think think you can take a better care for him." Ash knowning that wipes his eyes atleast he will start his journey today no matter which pokemon it is he will accept it.

Prof Oak led Ash into the research room of his lab. The research was room was where Prof Oak kept his machinery for research and where he stalled the starter Pokémon for new Pokémon trainers. "Ash before giving the pokemon i should warn you that this pokemon is not friendly to human i catched it when i found it chewing on the wires outside my lab, and after it whenever i release from its pokeball it attack me for no reason so be Carefull." said Oak and Ash nodded then Oak released the pokeball out the ball came out what seemed to be a big yellow mouse, with red cheeks, brown stripes and a tail in the shape of a lightning bolt, that is a Pikachu.

"This is a pikachu an electric Pokémon" the professor explained.Ash bent down onto his knees to speak to the pikachu. When pikachu saw Ash it let out some sparks from its cheeks.Ash knew he had to be carefull if what prof.Oak said is ture than the pokemon will attack him on sight though he also knew that even his strongest attack will do no damage to him.

"Hi there," said Ash, with a smile, "you're a really cool pokemon with a lot of spunk". Pikachu looked at Ash in amazement. 'he is not afraid of me' thought Pikachu. Ash put out a hand to Pikachu. "My name is Ash," he said "and I wish to become the best pokemon master the world has ever seen. If you come with me i promise you that i will make you the strongest Pikachu and possibly a Richu if you ever want evolve."Pikachu stared at Ash in amazement for a few seconds, and then it hopped onto to Ash's shoulder with a smile. yes he wanted to become the stongest Pikachu in the world. "Pika" replied Pikachu, with a nod.

Prof Oak was amazed that Ash was able to befriend with the dangerous Pikachu so quickly. But then again it was Ash he was looking at. Ever since Ash was four he would come to the lab to check out all the pokemon he had in the ranch. even with his powers he is always kind to all kind of pokemon and that is the reason why all the pokemon in the ranch always listen to Ash like he was their trainer.

But unknown to both Ash and prof.Oak and even Pikachu they havebeen watched by two pair of eyes and their sole attention is on Ash they havebeen there the entire time and watched Ash interact with the Pikachu and they are amazed that he is able to tame the dangerous Pikachu they knew how strong Pikachu is they both fought him and Pikachu has defeated them. And they can see in the trainers eyes the determination to grow stronger along with his pokemon.It is also their dream to become the strongest pokemon of their species and one day evolve.As the duo started to make their way towards Ash.

"Well Ash my boy," Prof Oak said "I am glad that you finally able to start your journey and i am really sorry that you cannot get your desired starter." "Its ok professor i am happy that i will start my journey today and i am sure that Pikachu and i will be a great team right Pikachu." said Ash, looking at Pikachu with a smile "Pika Pikachu."replied Pikachu with a thumbs up Ash was scratching Pikachu's lower jaw when he notices something pulling his pants downward looking down he saw two pokemon looking at him one is a Rockruff and another is a Litten. Rockruff is a quadruped, canine Pokémon. It is primarily light brown with a darker brown muzzle, paws, and ear tips. It has large blue eyes,button ears, a short muzzle with a triangular pink nose, and a short tuft of fur on each cheek. Around its neck is a ruff of grayish-white fur stubbed with dark brown pebbles. The dark brown markings on its paws extend to a thin point on each wrist and ankle. It has a grayish-white tail that curls tightly over its back and is covered in fluffy fur. and Litten is a quadruped, feline Pokémon covered with primarily black fur. It has a short muzzle with a tiny, black nose, red eyes with yellow sclerae, and short, pointed ears with pale gray insides. There are two red stripes around each of its legs and two horizontal stripes with a vertical stripe across them on its forehead. The lower part of Litten's face is also red, and there is a large tuft of fur on each cheek. A tuft of fur sits at the end of its long tail. When it arches its back, three pointed tufts of fur with red tips appear along its spine.

" a Rockruff and a Litten what are they doing in this part of region professor they only found in Alola region" said Ash as he bent down and started petting both the pokemon as they purred in amazement." well i asked prof.Kukui to send them to me so that i can study them."replied the Professor " its the first time i see them reacting like that without bitting your hand,". Ash gave Prof Oak a puzzled look and asked"why they look cute and strong ?"." ahh you see one hour earlier Gary and a boy named Hiroshi tried to pet them but they just bite their hands a run away." Ash looked back at the pokemons and asked"is that so?" both the pokemon nodded "guess you didnt like them that much.". Ash then glanced back to his watch and saw already 8.00p.m. "well professor its getting late i should get going.", at the mention of leaving both pokemon snuggle upto Ash they didnt want him to leave without them,"sorry Rockruff ,Litten i have to go inorder to start my journey ." They both shakes their head and climb upto Ash's shoulder pushing Pikachu in the process. "Pika" said Pikachu a little angrily as his place havbeen taken by the same cat and dog they he beat over and over again and started to unleash little sparks of electricity to threathen them. "its ok Pikachu they don't electricute them they just wanted attention."said Ash , Pikachu after hearing that calm down a little but still angry that his place hasbeen taken albeit temporarily. Prof.Oak after seeing such interaction couldn't help but smile it seems Ash has his way with pokemon and seeing how the pokemon behave around he knew that they wanted to go with Ash.

"Ash its seems they both like you how about you also take them with you on your journey?" asked Oak , Ash's eyes widened in suprise before he look up to professor "but professor you said you wanted to study them."said Ash as he looked back at the pokemon. at that professor has a sad smile on his face,"i know i still want to but it seems they both become very fond of you and i am sure they also wanted to go with you." repliad professor looking down at the pokemon along with Ash who nodded their head in affirmation,"and its the least i can do for you for my mistake so Ash please take them and don't worry about prof. Kukui i will tell him that i found a very formidable trainer to help them for their growth.", "ok professor i promise i will take a good care of all of them." said Ash and the Professor smie ,"i know you will." repliad the professor.,"now wait here i gonna bring you your pokeball and pokedex i willbe right back." as he left the room.

Soon Prof Oak then came back with a National pokedex and gave it to Ash along with five pokeballs as well as Pikachu's pokeball when Ash the National dex he ask,"professor why your giving me a National dex ?" "well you will be needing it when you wanted information about Rockruff and Litten."repliad the professor and Ash nodded his head in confirmation.

he then at the two pokemon and said,"now i am gonna capture you two ok but dont worry i will soon led you out ok." the two pokemon nodded their head Ash then use two pokemon to capture them and turned to Pikachu. When Pikachu saw the pokeball, it shook its head mentally.

"I take it that means you hate being in pokeballs?" asked Ash. Pikachu nodded its head. "It's okay," said Ash "if you don't want to be in a pokeball I don't mind at all".

After proclaiming his pokedex and pokemon Ash headed out the lab. He wanted to get home to say goodbye to his mom and pick up his bagpack. "Wait till mum sees you and the others Pikachu," said Ash "she'll find you all really adorable". "Pika" replied Pikachu.He then started running towards his home.

Back at home Delia was waiting for Ash, when she saw him coming up the path. "Got your pokemon honey?" she asked. "Yes mum I did," said Ash "I picked Pikachu ,a Rockruff and a Litten". as he released the two pokemon. When they come out their ball they looked at Ash ,"guys this is my mom." said Ash the pokemons looked at his mom and greeted her"Pika", "Ruff","mewo", they said i unison which meant hello. "Ah how adorable!" she shouted, with a gleam in her eyes as she hug all of them.She then handed Ash his rucksack. "I packed some food for you and your pokemon". "Thanks mum" said Ash. "You're welcome sweetie," said Delia "be sure to make sure that you stay safe and keep out of trouble". "Don't worry mum," said Ash "everything will be all right". "and don't forget to change you know what?" said Delia, "yeah mom i know.",groaned Ash. He then kissed his mom goodbye, flung his bagpack on his back and returned his two pokemon on thier pokeball led Pikachu to hop on his shoulder and leave to set off on his journey.
