3 I’LL MAKE HER MINE

AURORA ENTERPRISES .

I walked out of the building after the conversation with Ash and drove back to my office. I rewinded my thoughts back to the scenario .

I grinned widely looking at the building from my car. I stopped before the main entrance and gave my keys to the valet and entered the seven-storeyed glass building, Aurora enterprises.

I reached the receptionist and asked her for Ash's office, she counter questioned, 'Do you have an appointment, Sir?'

'Nope, but tell her, it's her Fiancé , Oh sorry, Ex fiancé Noah!' in a regretful yet commanding tone.

I looked around and found that the entire building looks totally different than when I saw it the last time.

She picked up the intercom, pressed a number, receiver on her ear and she looked at me with mixed emotions.

I wondered if I looked like a devil, for her to tremble like that. She said in a shaking voice, "Miss Ash, he's here to visit you!" her hands shaking and she gulped before talking.

"Oh, it wasn't me that made her tremble,'' I chuckled inside.

'You can now go Mr.Noah, her office, it's on the sixth floor, part the hallway, a big mahogany door will be on your left. Enter with your discretion.' she pouted and raised her brows.

I curled up the right corner of my mouth into a sarcastic smile, "Thank you" and strolled to the elevator.

I hit the open button for the elevator and entered after the door opened and pressed 6.

I pondered if she remembers me? It was just an engagement promised by her father, a business thing entirely and she was just a 20 year old innocent girl with cute smile and playfulness. I realized she wasn't into the marriage when her demeanor changed during our engagement.

She merely argued about it, just for her father's happiness, a daddy's girl. I wonder what's she like now?

I've read news about her as the "Ruthless Queen of businesses''. She was pure and soft, I doubt those magazine's portrayal of her.

I was pulled back to reality by the "Ding" of the elevator.

The door opened and I walked out past the hallway and opened the big brown mahogany door on the left. There's a lot of changes in the interiors. The entire building wasn't so modern, minimalistic and opulent ten years ago.

I walked towards her table glancing at the taste of her interiors which is marvelous. I never knew this side of hers.

She was sitting in her table, didn't move an inch, such boldness, she didn't care to give a welcoming look or a welcoming hug, I am disappointed.

I sat across from her, "Miss Ash, Nice meeting you!" taking a closer look at her.

Her black eyes shined, and pierced through my heart.

Those perfect dark arched brows of her weren't drawn by a pencil, but natural ones.

Her eyes though fiery, the flutter of her eyes made me observe those peeps to find if those thick lashes are fake, but no.

The nose bridge and her sharp nostrils breathed slowly despite the unwelcome environment.

The philtrum, man, I've never cared to look into the details before, Damn! Why didn't I see them then?

I cursed  myself eyeing her features.

The philtrum led my eyes down, those are the juiciest soft pink lips, a slightly fuller lower lip with the perfect v jawline.

Was she that gorgeous ten years back?

My eyes wandered below the face, to know what she's wearing, what she looks like beyond the table. My sinful thoughts were interrupted by her.

"Mr. Noah, what a pleasure..."she looked into my eyes while talking.

Maybe she found me ogling , maybe my bold thoughts.

I hid my emotions not to be embarrassed and continued with a poker face, ''As it was arranged before...…I would like to renew our relationship", and of course she questioned back.

Why I denied the engagement, she has every right to ask if I had to propose the same after so many years, "You were not  the type I wanted….(but you're totally my type now)" my eyes eager to have a full look.

She leaned on the table with burning eyes, I must have offended her with my words, she slammed the table and rose up her chair.

She was wearing a button-down crisp white shirt and a gray pencil skirt.

She walked towards the open window behind in classic pumps, her pony-tailed hair falling on her hips. She looked spectacular. She couldn't look more beautiful than being a CEO,I reckoned.

I was taken aback when she asked me to leave. I liked it more, when she was irritated by me, I walked out confidently giving her 1 week time to think. I couldn't let go of the thoughts of her sitting and walking to the open window in her office.

I kept glaring at my desktop, my mind roaming around her. She has changed. A transformation from an innocent girl to an amazing, drop dead gorgeous woman, I sighed" How am I gonna make her mine?"
