Thomas Wright POV:

"YOU DONUTS! WE'RE COMPLETELY SURROUNDED BY BEASTS!" i shouted the driver clearly not yet registered to my words.

"That's impossible, my men would have detected sooner before y-" the driver rejection had been cut short when he heard an incoming notification coming from his transciever device placed on his ear similar to a walkie talkie.

The driver gritted his teeth "Pull up here, call for immediate back up, form a defensive formation around our car, protect our assets at all cost until back up arrive" the military driver ordered via comunication device before stepping outside and soon followed by his men before stopping their vehicles at a good distance between us.

I also came out from the vehicle. "I suggest you stay inside with them, professor" the driver suggested. "im more useful out here rather than staying inside like chickens in a cage, and didnt you do your research? i am still a top rank Scouter, capable sensing even the smallest energy in a large range diameter" i clarified and studied our surroundings, we stop at a clearing ten yards away from trees.

The military men that come out from the other vehicles position themselves in groups of the three and dressed in their camo green military combat uniform.

Although, iam not known indepth with the field of battle tactics, but i can differentiate each person's class which is widely known throughout the continent as Strikers, Shielders, Casters and Scouters.

Right now, i can spot each group has their own Strikers and Shielders, two Casters from two of the groups and one scouter from the remainder group. The driver was a Caster, holding his weapon with both arms similar to a heavy rifle and it was powered by their Qi using Beast core that was attached to it.

I lifted my right arm and pointed my finger "We are outnumbered, but the strongest one i can see came from behind that tree".

The next second, one by one of them emerged from the trees around us. Larged sized beast walked out with four stocky limbs, long snout, scaled body, and two small bumps at side of its forehead.

I spotted orange colored crystal between its front limbs "B rank beasts? here together in one spot? but how" i spoke in disbelief.

"Why are they all waiting?" one of the casters asked. The strongest one behind the tree came out shortly after, and it looked like a seven feet tall person claded with red black full set armor and folded scaled wings behind its back like a cape.

Underneath its helmet two horned it said "I demand Felscllya, blood of Krin to be handed immediately or you shall witness death" in deep rumbling voice almost had a growling sound.

"We dont have who or what you want" the driver replied. "then so be it.. kill them all and bring me the girl alive" the armored person commanded.

the large bear like beasts charged in together furiously "Shielders! now!" the driver shouted.

*BOOM*

Explosive traps that were placed around the defensive line were activated. The shielders position themselves closer to the enemy was in a good distance away from the explosion while shielding with their man size shield with beast core attached.

"its not going to be that easy" the driver said while charging his beast weapon in hand.

Dust filled up from the explosion and clouding everyone vision. Soon an arm figure of the armored person was seen as it raised, swung it to his side before pushing the dust away and revealing the aftermath.

craters formed around us from the explosion, the bear beasts lying down on the ground still barely conscious but the others died from the shock and missing front body.

"looks like my small minions were not enough, but that does not matter" two pairs of red glowing eyes appearing behind the armored person, left and right "I have them both anyways"

Felscylla Krin POV:

I anxiously looked out the window when thomas and driver went out, then shifting back to my newborn son in my arms, wrapped with special clothing scraf. "It seems they're able to sense me once i came out from that old man safe house" i thought.

Its been two days we have been traveled by land vehicle to the military location with breaks at night. The day when the military came and bringing us three to their place. At first i was against the idea leaving the safe house, meaning im exposing my presence to them.

Two years back, The old man found me lying down in the forest. i was too fatigued to even lift my fingers and decided to pretend unconscious and hoped he might leave me to recover, enough rest for me to move and hide somewhere else, but that wasnt case.

He brought me to his place while i pretended unconscious and realised his placed were not too far away which i failed to notice. It seemed his safe house has a technology to hide its presence, even from my senses.

With that i decided stay there. Once i have enough energy to move, I told him half truth of my story, who am i, where i from and what happen. my story was convincing enough and allowed me stay and work at his place.

one year after that i allowed myself to him, he had been good to me, treating me, feeding me, teaching me and even sharing me his personal private stuff. Its was hard for me not accept his warmth kindness and love. He was in his late 40's with sharp facial feature, red hair, slim nose, trimmed beard and skinny body with 6 feet height. he always wearing his round thick glasses and white lab coat, hiding his fragile body.

My feelings for him didnt change even after i gave birth to our child and he became distance and aggressive. At that time, he keeps complaining something about the military demanding his test result.

i was not sure what changed him, was it the baby or the military or was it something else. i kept wondering until asked me to let him bring our child to his lab to play.

As a cautious mother would respond, i rejected his request but somehow he able to snatch our child away from me without me noticing until it was too late. I gazed at my poor son floating in the middle inside of large glass tube with my mouth covered with disbelief. I hated him since then.

Now, Looking back down to my poor son in my arms, sleeping "We have to get away, somewhere safe, away from being mercilessly experiment on" thought to myself while unveiling the scarf and revealing the green crystal the center of the chest at the height of the thymus gland of my son… the beast core..
