Upon returning to Canlight City and bidding farewell to Jason, Elena, and the others, William returned to his mansion with Angela.

Bend, who was busy with the horses in the courtyard, immediately spotted William approaching and quickly came forward to bow.

Inside the house, hurried footsteps were heard as the maid Rosie hastily opened the door, standing aside to welcome the master of the mansion back.

Angela lay on William's head, her eyes wide open, curiously taking in everything around her.

Since entering Canlight City, Angela felt overwhelmed by what she saw.

How could there be so many humans? Underground, there were only ugly skeletons and walking corpses.

The houses built by the roadside were so beautiful, much better than the dark and gloomy mansion she used to live in!

Were those humans selling food for humans? It looked like they were enjoying the food.
