The two cultivators' expressions changed when they heard that, and their eyes flashed with killing intent. "Hand over the blood essence," the tall man said sharply.

The woman's eyes widened in shock. She flapped her other hand, and blue flames began to appear around her, turning into a powerful firebird that launched at Liang.

But Liang was unfazed by it. He simply stood there and opened his mouth, and suction force began to emanate from his mouth, pulling the firebird into it and devouring it whole.

The woman's expression changed, and her eyes flashed with shock and fear as she realized the extent of Liang's power.

The tall man didn't waste any time. He charged towards Liang with a fist aimed towards his chest. However, Liang seemed to anticipate his move and sidestepped, dodging the attack with ease. He retaliated with a palm strike, sending a shockwave towards the tall man. The tall man tried to dodge it but was too slow. He got hit and sent flying back, crashing into a nearby wall.

Liang calmly walked towards the tall man, who was struggling to stand up. He raised his hands, and powerful crimson flames appeared before turning into a massive crimson serpent. The serpent began to coil around the tall man tightly. Feeling his body burning, the man began to burn his blood essence to increase his power, but to no avail. The serpent engulfed the tall man before incinerating him to ash. Soon, the man's Nascent Soul appeared. It tried to escape, but the space around it began to wrap around it until it disappeared completely.

The woman looked at Liang with fear in her eyes. She tried to back away slowly, but Liang Yifei was too quick. He appeared in front of her and grabbed her by the throat, lifting her off the ground.

"Who sent you?" he demanded, with his eyes narrowing.

"I won't tell you!" she gasped out, trying to break free.

Liang tightened his grip on her throat, causing her to gasp for air. " Hmph, I suppose you will tell me if you value your life."

The woman could feel the life force being squeezed out of her.

Suddenly, Liang felt a dangerous aura coming from behind him.

Out of nowhere, a massive sword ray appeared behind his back. Soon, it exploded into hundreds of smaller sword rays. Liang let go of the woman, trying to dodge, but the sword rays began to surround him. Each sword ray began to explode, leaving no room for him to dodge.

A man standing on a flying sword could be seen in the air, his long silver hair flying in the wind, and his eyes glittering with sword light. He stepped off his flying sword and appeared beside the young woman.

The young woman's eyes flashed with excitement and surprise. "Sect Master, you are here."

The man nodded, his gaze never leaving the spot where the sword rays exploded.

"Is he dead?" said the young woman worriedly.

The man felt something and looked behind him. The space began to distort, and a figure appeared.

It was Liang. He didn't seem to be hurt at all, even his clothes were still intact. He looked at the man with a smile on his face. "Oh, it seems that I have lured a big fish. Who are you? You seem to have quite an impressive sword. I don't think I have heard about you."

The man's eyes narrowed. "I am Ling Tian, Azura Sword Sect Master."

"Ah, the famous Azura Sword Sect? Sorry, never heard of it." Liang grinned,"But I've heard about you. I never thought I'd get to meet the famous Ling Tian here. This is quite an unexpected pleasure."

Ling Tian suddenly raised his sword again, and three massive azure swords appeared in front of him. They appeared in front of Liang instantly. The space distorted, and he disappeared. But when he appeared again, he was shocked that another sword appeared in front of him. With no time to teleport again, he faced the sword head-on.

Soon, a powerful shockwave rippled outwards, destroying everything in a hundred miles.

Ling Tian gaze turned to the young woman, "This sword strike is enough to kill a Middle stage Spirit Severing Cultivator and severely injure Late stage Spirit Severing Cultivator if they are hit directly."
