Pah.
The more Bruno thought about it, the stupider the question became.
And yet, for some reason, he did feel better. Maybe it was because he managed to vent some of his anger by destroying the glass table in the psychiatrist's consultation chamber just now.
Man, watching glass shatter into pieces was so satisfying. Maybe he should work at a junkyard, destroying the ancient cars they hauled from the countryside...
Bruno's train of thought was interrupted when he accidentally cut an unintended path, leading to a prestigious high school for rich alpha children.

He slipped behind a giant sycamore tree and eyed the children pouring out from the school gates.
When he saw two familiar alpha girls walking side-by-side, laughing and chatting with each other, his eyes narrowed in hatred.
These two monsters had been released from the juvenile detention center just a week ago.
Soon afterward, they were allowed to resume their lives as if nothing happened.
As if they didn't kidnap his precious beta daughter, tortured her for hours, and then left her tied down to a tree in the middle of the forest, where she had to die all alone, all the while crying for her parents to come and save her.
Bruno tightened his hands into fists, his claws burrowing into the palm of his hands until they drew some blood.
Right now, the alpha was oblivious to the pain.
What was this little sting compared to the pain he sustained for two years, two months, twenty-one days, and counting?
Society was unfair.
Justice had failed his poor little daughter.
For the crime of kidnapping and murdering the five-year-old beta girl, these alpha girls -- at that time fourteen and fifteen years old -- only had to serve two years at the juvenile detention center.
Even worse, their lawyer had negotiated to erase their criminal records after they left the juvenile detention center.
Bruno's left eye twitched from pain.
Look at them now, all smiley and happy.
Acting like two innocent adolescent girls at the peak of their youth, with no speck of guilt.
Two monsters who would not hesitate to repeat their evil deed again, targeting another poor soul to become their toy.
Bruno sucked in a deep breath.
Unsure of his own motives, Bruno pushed himself away from the sycamore tree. His gaze locked onto the alpha girls, and he found himself following them, anger simmering with each step. The sight of them fueled a fire within him, threatening to erupt. Yet, just as quickly as it flared, a chilling calm descended.
An insidious plan began to take root in his mind.
Instead of expecting the universe to miraculously shift his trajectory of life back to its intended path, why not just eliminate the two monsters who ruined his life?
Oblivious to the danger looming ahead of them, the two alpha girls hooked their arms together and walked to a nearby bookstore.
The exterior of the five-story building was made entirely out of customized glass.
The first floor unfolded like a meticulously designed labyrinth. Shelves, crafted from sustainable material, snaked across the vast space, their contours forming a playful maze.
As visitors approached specific sections, interactive displays embedded in the shelves flickered to life, highlighting the name of the section along with featured books and authors of the week.
Books were stored in the form of computer chips embedded in eco-friendly vessels mimicking traditional printed books.
Colorful, textured hardcovers adorned the fronts, while the backside boasted beautifully scripted summaries, enticing passersby with a glimpse into the content.
Beyond selling books, this bookstore also offered an immersive reading experience on its upper floors.
Upstairs, attractive seating possibilities starting from simple beanbags to plush armchairs were distributed strategically across the artistically designed reading areas, complete with warm lighting to set off the mood. Here, visitors could escape the bustle outside and delve into their chosen world.
E-readers and E-players were available for hourly rentals, offering the visitors the convenience of losing themselves in various books, invigorated by a steaming cup of coffee from the beverage counter and accompanied by a selection of tempting snacks.
Julian was sitting close to the floor-to-ceiling window, cocooned in a corner while reading a particular book on an E-reader. Next to him lay a cup of steaming chocolate and a plate of egg and tuna sandwich. Some distance away from him, Martin Ziegler sat at another corner with an E-reader in his hands, not reading but watching him like an eagle.
Julian furrowed his brows in annoyance.
More than one week already passed since he gave Maximillian a piece of his mind, but the alpha had yet to act in his interest! Must he personally walk to the bureau's headquarters and tell Maximillian to withdraw this pesky, unsolicited tail from his life?
"Desiree, I want to sit over there," a young teenage girl with curly purple hair pointed at a plush bean bag next to Julian.
"Oh, but Sienna, I would rather... ooooh~"
Julian raised his head and looked at the two alpha girls, whose cheeks bloomed as soon as they caught sight of Julian.
"..."
He possessed an unfortunate knack for attracting captivating alphas, male or female. While the allure might seem desirable on the surface, it was a burden to constantly deal with unwanted attention, especially from young alphas.
"Hellow," the purple-haired female alpha plopped down next to Julian. "My name is Sienna. What is yours?"
"Uninterested," Julian beamed at her.
Both Sienna and Desiree clicked with their tongues.
"I can smell your pheromones from the stairs. You are unclaimed, are you? And so brave too, walking around without a choker. Hey, why don't you become my omega? I will treat you very well."
Julian almost scoffed.

Julian opened his mouth to answer, but then another alpha, an adult male, appeared out of nowhere and grabbed the two younger alpha girls by their necks.
