Young Master Shi

Li Feng looked at Elder Jing with a confused face.

"You will get to know what this means later. We are running a little late, so let us keep going." Elder Jing shook his head and took another step forward.

As he walked through the giant arch, a loud noise stopped them.

"Who goes there?"

Elder Jing glanced to the right and took out a token.

The token was hexagonal, much like the bronze token that Li Feng had.

But instead of bronze, there were far fewer engravings on the token, and it seemed to be of some lower status.

"It was Elder Jing! I had eyes but could not see." The owner of the voice came out from the side, and Li Feng and the others could see who it was.

It was a well built man, probably in his mid thirties. He had toned muscles and a tan throughout.

"You were just doing your work, Deacon. Well, it is that time of the year, and this year we have three going to the halls." Elder Jing said.

The carefree expression of the Deacon quickly turned to shock when he heard that.

"One of the three have chosen? Who?" He asked with surprise.

"All of them. Each one of them have a disciple here. Quite the concentration of power, no doubt." Elder Jing chuckled.

"Well then, we have to get going."

Quickly the group of four passed through the arch and entered into the inner sect.

The moment Li Feng passed through the arch, he felt a warm feeling rush over him, similar to when he walked into the sect, and later into the Outer Sect.

"The density of Qi in the Inner Sect is incredible! How can this be? Truly, it is such a boon, entering this place." He quickly thought to himself.

Before he could look around though, the group in front of him sped away, and he had to run to keep up.

Although it was no problem stamina wise, it was a funny sight to watch.

While the three next to him looked like they were just gliding forward, Li Feng was running and jogging to catch up.

Even though he didn't look and feel tired, he was sweating like a dog, and looked very, very different than Qin Bo and Bai You.

Qin Bo looked to the side at Li Feng.

"I don't understand why you are walking like that. Why don't you use an agility technique? Something that makes your footsteps lighter and more efficient?" He asked.

Li Feng sighed and shook his head.

"Unlike the two of you, the only access I have to cultivation materials is here in the sect. I will do my best to learn these skills in the treasury once I get the chance." Li Feng said.

To the side, buildings and people were flying away.

The Inner Sect seemed to be built much like the outer sect. There were residences and pavilions everywhere. But these residences seemed to be a little different.

Without a doubt, Li Feng could see that they were bigger. Much bigger than the Outer Sect residences.

And the Pavilions had large groups of people in front of them, who all looked at the funny sight of three walking, and one running behind them all.

Li Feng could feel the stares of everyone converge on him.

"This is irritating. If only I know how to step forward like them…" he told himself as he glanced at Bai You and Qin Bo.

Their foot steps seemed normal, but it was clear that they movement skill was the reason that they were able to walk with ease.

The buildings also started to disappear, and they had gone deeper and deeper into the sect.

At this point, Li Feng was internally shocked at the size of the sect.

The four of them had gone in a straight line, so it seemed like this was all there is to a sect. But they were walking for a while unknowingly.

And the sect was split into the Outer and Inner Sects which were concentric circles.

So the true size of the sect was double what Li Feng had just seen, maybe even more.

There was a lot more that he had not witnessed yet. He had not seen the seven peaks yet.

The size and scale of the sect astonished Li Feng to the bone.

"Stop here." A silent voice whispered in Li Feng's ears as he ground to a halt.

A quick look forward showed that the other three had all stopped and looked forward at a young man with a black robe, standing to the side.

There was another arch in front of them. This time, the arch had another two words written on it.

"Core Sect!"

"So the place existed? Then why was the Elder so weird about its existence? This place exists, plain and simple." Li Feng thought to himself.

"You are here for the three halls?" The young man clad in black looked at Elder Jing.

"Yes, Young Master Shi." Elder Jing nodded.

"It is rare that I see you. Why are you here at the entrance?" He asked.

"Some punishment. Master doesn't like it when I sneak out." The young man sighed as he moved to the side.

"You may pass then. The three halls, well, the Elder Hall is where Elder Jing is allowed to go. Anyone going anywhere else?" Young Master Shi looked at the three behind Elder Jing.

"This kid is going to the Elder Hall with me." Elder Jing pointed to Qin Bo.

"That one is in the Disciplinary Hall and that one is in the Medicine Hall."

The young man's eyes lit up.

"All three? That is rare. Well, the two of you, follow me." Young Master Shi pointed to Li Feng and Bai You.

"What about the station? Who will remain here?" Li Feng blurted out.

Young Master Shi smiled faintly.

"If there was someone stupid enough to try and invade this place, then I will applaud him for his bravery. Don't worry. I am a mere formality."
