Inside The Tent an Outsider

" I hope You Understand the implications of these children and the multiple contracts."

The large Man Spoke as He Slammed His hand Down on the Table.

He looked Across as All the People Looked at Us.

His Brown hair Was Slicked to one side as He Wiggled His Hand Through it He calmed himself before Speaking.

" This Will cause Too much Trouble With Everyone Expecting their Kids To Contract With Multiple Companions!"

He Sighed as His Hands Moved In thought.

" We cannot Replicate what these Little monsters have Done."

The Man Locked eyes with Butler as His Words Were Relayed to the King.

The butler Said To give the King a moment.

In a flash of blinding light, the king appeared.

" So Vandal What was the Issue?"

The man Stood and then dropped to his knees.

" SIRE, Thank you For gracing me with your Presence directly."

He Stood And looked the king in his eyes.

" As The Tamer Guild master Of this Regions, I Ask This Not be relayed Nationally For now."

He Looked The king Sternly in the eyes.

"We have no clue how this Works, Nor Can we Replicate this without Testing!"

The king Nodded and Then Spoke.

" Vandal, I have a solution for that So Fear not."

He shook the man's hand.

" Trust in the Empire as Dear friend of the Guilds we are and Shall always be. "

He Stood and handed Vandal a Large Envelope.

" This will Substantiate the Quota, Let's make this as loud as possible."

The man's mouth hung open, As he looked at the king his mind clicked into Reality and then He smiled As He Fixed his Suit.

He looked at everyone and Spoke.

" All present are sworn To secrecy, By the empirical king and Will hold this silence.

All Present are tasked with Accounting these events As Is No editorial or Change Shall be Put into the News."

He got a room full of nods.

The King changed his attitude and Made a gesture as the Butler Ushered all but us eight kids, The guild masters him, And A Random person he spoke to that Person before they took them to leave.

" Now let's Just say that This ordeal Is Special. You can all keep The Merits gained here."

He Stood By all eight of us As His hand Waved seven small medals appeared And Landed Upon the chests of the other seven kids.

I didn't Recieve one, He looked at me And I went to speak up but his hand Flickered and Was holding a medal It was lackluster compared to the golden ones the others received.

He handed it to me and Tisked his tongue as He Spoke Up.

" The problem With this symbol is you.

The Blood we took from you seems to be tainted well enough to know that this medallion is enough for you."

His Look of Disgust made me realize I may Be In a pickle.

He spoke again as I came back to reality from my Brain.

" We will Blow this out and send these kids off with a proper send-off.

This way We can Give More benefits To the Chosen Guardians."

His hand Waved and He completely Disappeared.

At that point, I had a terrible feeling.

We were Rushed out of the tent But into a Carriage And Taken to an Encampment on the edge of the Tamer Guild City.

The Small Encampment is plain Just ten small tents and a large Tent.

We were sent into a tent a piece.

Mine Was So Plain, It was a simple bed With A set of Amethyst Rain Clan Clothes.

On the Clothes was a small Box.

It has Three Rings, one I could Feel An aura inside seeping out so I focused on it and saw a small White space With Two tents.

They were About the same size as the one im in, There was one bed Like the one In this room.

It had a small Mountain of water bottles, A small mountain of Instant Food packs.

I focused on another of the rings and Saw All the bathroom amenities toothbrushes, hair brushes, and all the Items needed for hygienic purposes.

A bunch of simple Soul pet pellets, Clothed clan sets Like this one, A few sets of Weapons, A few Herb bags, And a bunch of Pet Stasis Capsules.

The Capsules Were small Yellow Crystal Carved and set into a Small Obsidian Square.

Around that encasing it was a clear Cyrstal It had a soul Ring mark.

There were a few Hundred of them!?.

The most amazing Item was the Mountain Of other Types of Containers and bags.

The Last ring was Rather empty, It only had one Cage Inside I Thought it was empty from the looks of it but the Cage Was Shadowed by a magic veil?

I went to Reach for it mentally and heard a Vicious growl, I Paused For a moment and just left it alone for now.

That presence was so ominous that I Just noped that whole scenario.

I couldn't Complain about the Given Things But That last ring left me Still a bit shook I got Dressed In a new set of Clothes.

as I looked over the weapons.

I summoned a Small Scythe About Half a foot taller than me the clothes set had a metal Plate over my heart.

I could feel the one between my shoulder blades so I Spun the Scythe and Slapped that Plate with it.

It just felt right when I heard the Click I let go and The Scy stayed in place, As I looked down at my Pets The Snake Began Emitting a Mental aura and Began Talking to me.

At First, it just wanted to Rest But After such a long morning It was understandable.

I told it to find a place to Nap and It conveyed multiple thoughts at once which made my nose Bleed as I felt the trickle from it.

The images are well burnt into my mind.

as I had yet to name them And My Soul Realm They were unable to Grasp its door.

I looked at all three The Snake Was Locked around my right arm's wrist like a bracelet.

the penguin Sitting in my lap and the T-rex who could shrink or grow at its Whim was sitting on my shoulder left one to be exact.

I thought deeply as I sat down on the bed to begin meditation.

I focused on the Circulation and Then changed the focus to the Soul Realm its Name came to me like lightning as I entered.

This will now be called The Soul Room.

I felt the rings Lead to Singular connections.

as I felt Energy flowing into my Stomach, my mind, And Into my heart.

The Room began to Turn Solid as the Energies Became Solid, and The Outside was Forced into a weird wrapped Place As The Snake's habitat was a forest, The Trex was a mountainous range, and the Penguin was on a Small island Surrounded by a Mini ocean.

Each was comfortable as They all Seemed Content with the energy sources Solidified.

they all looked at me And the same thoughts came from the three "Name?"

The Snake I named pretty easily With the Gem on its head and the eyes they looked like mist.

So I name the snake mist.

The T-Rex made me Think for a moment as I grabbed It from my shoulder, It began to Move Its Head But I noticed on its back was a small set of nubs.

It walked over to my Finger and Bit firmly on my Thumb, It didn't hurt But was Rather Funny Since it was just a bit bigger than My fingers.

It was Rather Silly as It decided to enlarge Just its Head Making its little Body Fall out of balance.

It stumbled to the Side before landing on it and Shrinking its head, It Stood and looked at me.

I asked it how it felt about Terra and The Amount of joy it conveyed was weird for me as It made me feel uncomfortably happy!

I looked down at the Penguin and Its Purple overcoat had specks of silver From its undercoat making it look like an orbit.

So I called it... as to orbit and The Penguin Chirped in delight.

Each one now had a name And a door into my Soul Room.

I felt my soul spread thin once again and my Body Pulsed with each heartbeat.

My mind Frizzled at the Rings Forming.

The Ring Solidified in pink as the Ring Etched with my Souls Words and the names of my Pets.

Each one finished and I felt a whole new tired.

My soul was officially spread so thin that When I sat down to cultivate my head Spun.

The moment I took that first breath it was like fireworks.

I had three forms of Soul nutrients as Each one Settled on its Part of the soul my body Felt a twist.

The Energies rejected each other and That Pain Was Now Viciously eating at its own pace.

I gripped the Fastest one mentally and Heard the snake Immediately.

" Master Do not focus Of Absorbing Focus on building an image!"

"use that energy to make Building blocks."

I did as mist said and Focused on making energy blocks out of that Source.

It was easy When I thought about Bricks instead of blocks.

My image was of Mental House bricks, After a few minutes the image Worked and before I knew it I had A wall built.

I was not aware that I was Inside my Mental Fort until I had almost made a small hut.

I looked around and saw the reflection of my mind and the house I built around it.

After I had started to see the reality I lost focus and the House Dissipated but the moment I focused once more it reappeared.

I felt its an intangible force as it Didn't Quite Disappear but it lightened as it was not my main focus.

I charged into the next energy as it tightened around my stomach, Terra looked at me Before Nudging the ring on my hand.

it said one word.

" FOOD!"

in my stomach, a pit began to grow Before I could grab a pack of Instant meals.

I tasted the Dried Meat And powdered gravy hit my lips As I chewed and swallowed the Slurry.

I grabbed Two Bottles of water as I chugged one and poured the other into a new Instant meal.

It bubbled as it reconstituted.

What were Four small pellet bars about the size of a piece of gum?

What Came from the pellets Was Full of two full-size waffles, a piece of Meat, and scrambled eggs.

So the letters of the Pack meant B for breakfast.

So I can assume the D, and the L is Named Respectively for dinner and lunch.

I hope...

I ate a Waffle Plain as I pulled out Six Different size Pet pellets.

They were all different colors and Sizes but were no bigger than a baseball.

I grabbed the Biggest one and Flicked water at it Testing a theory.

To my Suprise, The Ball expanded about to the Size of a Softball and Began to steam.

I set it In a bowl That was also in the Ring of amenities that's what I am calling it.

The food had a Salty smell and It was laced with a Red speckled Spice That Tingled the nose.

The Pets all three Looked at it But the only one who wanted it was The little penguin.

Terra Nudged my hand As it sent out a single word.

"Food!"

The Snake slithered up my arm Near my Elbow and I Felt a pinch as the snake Pulled blood Into its mouth.

after latching on Mist did not want to Let go It was a leech.

I decided to ignore it and Looked over at Terra.

I put a long hard thought into what it could eat Earlier it ate metal, So on a whim, I pulled two large Swords out of the Ring they seemed to be a pair.

The one Sword Sat before Terra, as it looked down at the metal Its eyes Looked at me Before it spoke.

" This Is Metal?"

I thought about it before I answered.

That sure was a good Question!?

I pulled out all the weapons that totaled in four piles.

One with Swords, one with Staff and Spears, one with Clubs and hammers, and The last one was Miscellaneous.

I kept all the Miscellaneous ones the Scythes, and A few Hybrid weapons that Seemed useful.

I kept Three Swords That seemed like the Best quality, Two Spears, and One Large hammer that seemed to Shine Over all the other weapons.

I looked at the Floor and was left with Two large Piles of Junk.

I looked at Terra and gave my best interpretation of a parent.

" OK Terra, try a bite of everything Here eat what you can and the Rest we will pack for later."

Terra looking at me completely blank spoke.

" This no smell good."

I Sighed as I settled.

" Okay Eat For now what you can.

I will look into the best diet for each of you.

For now, though we are not in a good position."

the Mist peeked its head out of my collar and Flicked its tongue at my cheek before telling me Its an honest opinion.

" The Wise Dragon who raised me could Help you."

It looked to the sky as it said.

"He has world knowledge magic... I miss him."
