Darkness that all i know all my life born into this world as a slave i lived it complaints but they are some nights i wonder why, why,why me and now am stuck in one of these moments.

You see i wasn't always a slave the queen adopted me and took me, she treated me well and clothe me, fed me but just 6 years into my happiness she died during a battle and since then my life went downhill from there, you see the baroness held the position of power but after she died her husband usurped the throne and his family began ruling and so due to fear i was reduced to being a slave.

PRESENT DAY.

"WAKE UP MONGREL."

A middle aged man in silver armor barked.

Soaked in God knows what he raised his eye and stared at the culprit.

'Micheal a once loyal employee of my mother he used to follow me around and we were together but now that she's gone he changed side.'

"Oi what are you looking at you trash get moving and don't ruin this day for the young prince."

'Today what is so important about today...mmmmm oh i see today is the day of awakening'

I picked myself up put on my rags and joined the other slaves in cleaning up the castle .

FEW HOURS LATER

3 carriages surrounded by cavalry of soldier came to the kingdom a loud commotion ensued everyone understood what today is, dressed in the cleanest and the finest clothe they have the nobles, commoners and royalties slowly made their way to the square.

Within half an hour tents were raised and chairs arranged at the forefront were the royalties opposite them were the guest, behind the royalties were the nobles arranged according to their seats, and finally the commoners.

Climbing the recently made podium the king Aterxes addressed his subject.

"I understand your excitement but may we present ourself cordially today main addressor isn't me but instead him Alpriest Rutherford please."

Now standing at the platform Rutherford scanned the crowd before speaking. "It is my greatest pleasure to announce the start of the awakener trial."

WOOOHOOOO

Everyone hooted and clapped.

Behind the priest was a wrapped object, waving his hands the object was unwrapped.

FWOOOSH

Beautiful.

shining and alerting everyone of it glory the unwrapped milky white crystal was basking and reflecting the sunshine telling 'am here'.

A soldier stepped forward and stood beside the crystal.

"single file please all those who are 18 please step forward, now remember if you are above or under the crystal will cripple you.

And so a single file was made comprising of male and female, young and aspiring men and women.

"fire"

And so it continued for more than an hour some left with happiness and others with sadness.

finally after waiting forever it was our m.c turn, clad in rag he slowly made his way to the crystal.

Seeing this the prince whispered to his mate.

"does he believe a trash like him can be lucky?"

Ignoring them he touched the crystal and nothing happened until...he heard a voice.

"Choose red like blood or the mystery of magenta?"

"huh choose that new.'

"i choose ......."

Turning his head the guard stationed at the crystal screamed.

"D.....D...DEMONNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!"
