1 Chapter 1

[A/N: Just a warning, there is some bs on some of the things that I wrote here just because I can't find or know the information I want about the said stuff.]

Liberio city, Marley empire

Liberio was a metropolis intersected by a large river near a railway. It had at least three notable sections: the Marleyan area, where the ethnic Marley people resided and where the Warrior Headquarters was located; the Internment zone, where residents with Eldian blood lived; and an industrial zone.

The Marleyan area and the Entertainment zone were separated by a large wall. The gates of these walls are guarded by public security authorities.

The walls of the city were small, unlike paradise, about 25 to 30 meters tall making it look imposing to people that have not seen it before.

Today is the day, a Warrior program where Marley would accept Eldian children between the ages of five to seven to inherit the powers of the seven Titans that were captured by the marleyans at the end of the war.

A child could be seen on the sidelines watching the program take place. This child has spiky blonde hair, sharp orange eyes, and a handsome but cute face. He was wearing a white tunic that reached his knee and brown trousers.

"Damn, this place is packed, I didn't expect so many people to come," The child muttered to himself quietly.

The child's name is iyon.....at least it used to be, his new name is Giotto Capone.

Giotto was originally a writer on earth until he died after being too drunk and banged his head on the wall just to wake up in Marley.

Moreover, He was an illegitimate child of a rich Marley merchant with an Eldian woman. Though it was good that he didn't treat him badly he just ignores him like he doesn't exist.

This also is the reason why he didn't sign up for the program, his father has invested some money in this program so if he knew that he signed up his father would probably be mad at him. Plus he doesn't need the titan powers anyway, since he can just live normally in marley his father gives him allowance's every two weeks, and though it wasn't much it's enough for a normal family to live for 2 months. and generally if he could sign up he still wouldn't just for the fact that he wouldn't be able to live past 13 years and he would be forced to be eaten once he reaches the end of his lifespan.

'I hope to at least be able to make contact with some future shifters.... at least then I'll have some connections'

Suddenly a loud sound could be heard instantly getting the attention of the people and quieting all the chattering and noises that were taking place.

"Attention everyone!"

"We will now start the program! and whoever wants to sign up or sign up their child should go to the right, and whoever just wants to spectate go to the left and be quiet!"
