11 Synthesis

Amid an endless, dark void, shimmering purple-white energy danced in and out of existence, forming a breathtaking, almost cosmic spectacle. Sasuke found himself awestruck by the changes in his surroundings.

"What is this place?" he wondered aloud as he surveyed his environment, realizing that he existed here in a state different from his physical form. It resembled some sort of energy projection. Upon closer examination, he felt his consciousness traverse this entire realm as if he possessed God's eye.

"I see, So this is my Mental Plane," he mused, still taking in the radiant purple-white mass against the backdrop of the vast, empty void. Yet, the question lingered: why was he here?

*HUMMM*

Suddenly, over fifty symbols materialized at various points, each displaying distinct colors and forms, encircling the dark void. His head throbbed as he comprehended their nature upon closer scrutiny.

Each symbol represented a jutsu, with colors denoting different styles. For instance, a red, wave-like rune symbolized the Fire style [Great Annihilation]. Seeing the sheer number of them, Sasuke realized that it would take considerable time to gain full control. Despite feeling like he had mastered these skills when using the jutsus before, it is only mastery. Mastery and Control are two different things.

He attempted to categorize the skills and group them for better inspection. After a few moments, they had arranged themselves neatly.

Admiring these enigmatic runes for a while, he began to contemplate this newfound ability, one he had never noticed Sasuke possessing in the anime.

"I have no one to answer me about all this. If I want answers, they must come from myself," he thought, attempting to correlate these abilities with those he knew from anime. Finding no answers, he shifted his focus inward, scouring his being for any hint of a similar quality.

After an hour of introspection, he stumbled upon a surprising quality or minor ability his Rinnegan had possessed.

" [ Pattern Recognition ] takes a large amount of information from a small amount of text. " At least that should be its limit. But now, it could transform vast amounts of information into a single rune, creating patterns by combining similar sources.

" So, these Runes are formed by the essence of each Skill. " that's the only explanation he could come up with, and he could feel it was the truth. Albeit there is something more to it,

"Is this mutation because of Shinsu? By altering and perfecting everything I came along with to better fit this world's laws. " he mused at this sudden development, which made it even more convenient for him. There is no need to go blindfolded.

Pushing his thoughts aside, He decided to train in the fire style first.

As he prepared to exit, an intrusive thought seized him, and before he knew it, he had moved the Fire Runes without conscious intent.

" Merge "

*BOOM*

Before he could react, all the fire runes began to collide against each other and began to form an entirely new Rune, All while sucking the purple-whitish energy mass surrounding the void to the center of the coalition.

" shit "

When he came to his senses, he cursed himself for acting out of impulse. Looking at all the fire Runes, which are second in number after the lightning Runes. He didn't know when he would finish training in all these. While he didn't care about the training part itself, his current situation isn't appealing to waste a large amount of time. So if this works,

He watched nervously with bated breath, a 1/10th of the energy depleted itself in a few minutes and as it did, a searing heat radiated from the space near him. From this intense heat emerged a new Rune.

It appeared as a simple Fire symbol within a circle, deceptively unremarkable. However, he knew better. As he examined the Rune, new information flooded his mind.

" Holy Shit "

[ Flame Order ]

With the newfound ability to manipulate flames at will, Could execute his past Fire Jutsus with exquisite precision.

Flame Nova; A grand and all-encompassing move that birthed from the fusion of all the Fire Runes.

" Buhahahaha " he laughed excitedly,

He was mystified by the enigmatic purple-white energy, unsure of its true nature when used as a catalyst to blend his skills. Yet, an undeniable sensation coursed through him, one that convinced him the merging ability didn't originate from the original Sasuke or the purple energy itself. Instead, he realized it was a manifestation of his UNIQUE power.

A New Rune formed and aligned itself, around the size of (yours) pinky-Nail. It is entirely Pitch black, blending with the void, in the shape of a five-pointed Star Rune. After it completely formed, He received the new information from the Rune,

[ Synthesis ]

Capable of amalgamating skills to generate entirely novel ones.

? ? ? ?

"There's nothing here but what I know... I see. So, the information within these Runes has a source, and that source is my knowledge," Sasuke reflected. He didn't fully understand his unique power yet, apart from its ability to merge skills and create entirely new ones. But that would change in the future.

"Now, let's merge all the Elemental Styles," he decided, wasting no time in merging the remaining Elemental styles.

After ten minutes, the now sparser void bore witness to the absence of many Elemental Runes, replaced by five new ones.

[Flame Order ] Flame Nova

[ Water Order ] Zero

[ Wind Order ] Atomic

[ Earth Order ] Solid

[ Lightning Order ] Senbonzakura

"Ahem," Lightning Order's exclusive skill didn't initially bear this name; he had renamed it to better suit its resemblance to a certain power from Bleach. Yes, he can alter the appearance of the Rune and modify its exterior, if so he wished.

After completing the fusion of the elementals, he found himself unwilling to continue due to overwhelming fatigue.

At least now, he possessed a clue regarding the consequences of wielding this power. The more he drained the purple-white energy, the more exhaustion gripped him. He dreaded the consequences when he'd completely run dry. At the same time he learned, he couldn't access other Runes which induced a head-splitting ache, when he tried to access them. The only reason he came up with this phenomenon could be insufficient Purple-white energy.

" I think this is enough for now, I don't need to train. Haha " he thought happily.

With a desire to exit the Mental Realm, He returned to his room. Collapsing onto his bed, he surrendered to sleep without undertaking any further actions.

In the Test Director's office:

"So, you're saying he single-handedly defeated everyone," Hansung Yu inquired, a faint smile gracing his lips as he swirled his coffee cup, the instant coffee packet a prop in his hand.

"Defeating is an understatement; he left them unable to walk for at least a month. Fortunately or not, the two Princesses only suffered from fall damage," Hax explained, her voice as calm as ever.

"You may go. Thank you for your hard work," He said as Hax left without a word. After her departure, another figure entered.

"He isn't like that boy. We don't need him for our goals," standing in front of the Test Director, Hwaryun spoke in a monotone, unwilling to provide further explanation.

"Did you see something?" Hansung Yu inquired.

"No."

"Well, isn't it normal for an Irregular? That proves he is one of them," Hansung Yu commented, pausing to gulp down his coffee in one go.

*_*

"We Guides can see the paths existing in the Tower and foresee the future. Especially, seeing the fate of someone is the trait of us, the 'Red Witches,'"

Hansung Yu listened silently, despite his prior Knowledge.

"However, it is an entirely different case in front of those beings, Irregulars. We can neither see their fate nor predict their path. They walk their path. We can only predict the events that are to happen in their path."

"The fate of an Irregular isn't something a mere Guide can predict," she added.

" So, Did you See an 'Event' concerning that Irregular? " Hansung Yu's curiosity picked at the seriousness Hwaryun displaying; The Guide of an 'Ancient Monster' wouldn't become serious for trivial matters.

*_*

'Spit it out, Bitch! ' A tick mark appeared on Hansung's forehead.

" No "

Now he wants to beat the shit out of her. Controlling himself, closing his eyes, and smiling gently,

" Then, What? "

" I can't see his Fate, the Path he walks, the Events happening in his Path- No, it would be better to say, He doesn't Walk a Path. "

Looking at the perplexed face of Hansung Yu, as if asking; You got serious for tis smoll problem women ?, Hwaryun continued,

" He doesn't have a Fate "

"What do you mean?!" This time, Hansung Yu was genuinely serious. Not being able to see a Path was normal, incapable of predicting the events in a particular path was unheard of among the Red witches or other Guides, but it wasn't something to make them take a step back. However,

" Even King Jahad and the 10 Family Heads have Fate. The Ancient Guides themselves confirmed this. Not to mention, A Family Head attested to this-"

Hwaryun cut him off, "Yet, he doesn't. That's why I said we don't need him." She continued without letting Hansung Yu interject, "Even the 'Notorious Enryu' and 'Mysterious Phantaminum' have a connection with the Tower. Yet, he, Sasuke, doesn't. When I tried to glimpse at him, my power didn't work, but intuition did."

"He feels as if he doesn't belong to anything."

"Do you want to enter something you didn't even have an ounce of an idea about?"
