"This is such a shitty deal. How can I defeat that old man when he is coming at me with no regard for himself and intent to kill" I asked angrily.

[A great wizard should always be ready to take on opponents who come at you with the intent to kill.]

"Your half-ounce chicken soup of life is of no use for me. Show my status" I replied.

Leo was happy. He was happy. Level 3 spell was where the most competent teachers of Hogwarts stood. Coupled with his dagger and needles he was truly deadly. The dagger was stored in a holster in his left hand. It also housed the needles and scalpels laced in various poisons that could be shot out at pinpoint accuracy.

Once I checked everything out I dressed in the charismatic teacher robes with a black turban around my bald head. This should throw Old Dumbles off his game, there is no way he would not suspect me housing a wraith under the turban. Once that was done I went to say my farewell to the Gnomes who housed me for the past ten months. I purchased a portkey from them at 50 galleons to England. "Let's go home" I said holding the small glass vial which acted as the portkey.

After reaching England I headed straight for Gringotts. Goblins everywhere. "Hello teller Ragnuk, I wish to make a withdrawal".

He stared at me with his toothy grin and asked "Do you have the key?"

"Yes, here you go" I gave him the key.

"Griphook, take Mr Quirrell to his vault" the goblin gave the order.

"Follow me wizard" Griphook said.

As I entered the iconic roller coaster ride I was genuinely thrilled. But it soon stopped. The Quirrell vault was not that protected. It was in an outer area.

"Vault 998. Lamp please" Griphook said. I gave it to him and alighted. "Key please" he asked again for which I obliged. Once the vault was opened I saw what its insides had. Around 500,000 galleons, a large crate, and a chest. I went to look at them.

First I filled my moleskin pouch with 4000 galleons. I opened the crate. It had several books related to dark arts which I promptly transferred to my inventory. The last chest contained some memorabilia from his Hogwarts years. A Ravenclaw uniform, some chocolate frog cards, a board of wizards chess, exploding snap decks, and finally a small wooden box barely an inch thick with a label on it. James Potter. I was surprised and opened it. It was a chocolate frog card of Circe a witch of ancient Greece who was rumored to be an excellent transfuration master. There was a note on it that said the card belonged to Cuthbert Binns, the History professor ghost at Hogwarts.

Seems like James won this in a bet with Mr. Binns or he fleeced it out of him. Well, this could be used as a good introductory present for young Harry when he comes to Diagon alley.

Leo made his way to the teller Ragnuk and asked him to invest a share of his money in muggle businesses in up-and-coming companies like Apple, Microsoft, and IBM.

Once that was done, Leo made his way to Eeylops owl emporium and bought a barn owl and treats for it. Barn owls are inconspicuous and very common. He named it Sky and brought it to the Leaky cauldron. He took out a parchment and wrote on it expressing his withdrawal of application for the Defence Against the Dark Arts(DADA) post at Hogwarts and his willingness to continue as the muggle studies professor.

'Like hell I am going to take that cursed post that kicks everyone out in a year' Leo thought.

Once the letter was done and addressed to Headmaster Dumbledore, he gave it to Sky. "Girl you give this to old Dumbles and come back" the barn owl cooed and snuggled in Leo's arms before flying off.

'Now off to the quest to defeat the psychopathic gnome in the training room' Leo quipped and sat laid down on the bed.

The battle without using magic only lasted a couple of minutes before I lost. In close quarters the gnome was deadly. I couldn't even get one of my needles or scalpels to hit him. The training with only magic lasted for over ten minutes and that was because I kept my distance and he kept dodging. Once my magic power started to fall it was a piece of cake for the gnome to take me down.

The good thing about the training room was that my spell level and skill levels were getting upgraded even though it was virtually happening in my mindscape. Also, the training room gave me much-needed materials for my occlumency. Any idiot who tries to get past direct and disgust is going to face a battalion of the crazy gnome Master Ooyunk who does not care for his life.

There were only a couple more days before the boy who lived came to Diagon alley. I began to use the training room crazily trying to defeat the gnome and finally I succeeded with the only magic part. The only dagger part of the mission remained a close uncertainty. By the evening of July 30th, I finally defeated Master Ooyunk by just using my physical skills.

I looked at the strengthening potion recipe. It was a one-time use item that helped one's physical strength to become one level stronger.

Ingredients for body strengthening potion: Troll blood - 8 ounce, Giant's eyeball fluid - 1 ounce, Ashwinder egg shells x2, Re'em blood - 1/2 ounce, Griffin claw x1, Octopus powder - 2gm, Salamander blood - 2 ounce, snake fangs x2.

I took out a parchment with the list of ingredients along with some other common ingredients and 50 galleons, called Sky, and tied it to her. "Deliver this to Sluggs and Jiggers Apothecary and come back with the ingredients girl" I said to the owl and gave her a treat before she left.
