4 Chapter 4: Get Powers and Stuffs from Gacha!

[AdvocateofGenderEquality: Are those whose died are the two of you? Rimuru, Misogi?]

Misogi raised his eyebrow after reading Kazuma's chat. Similarly, Rimuru also doing it.

"Two people from the same world died and then had been reincarnated in to two different worlds. One person which is on the world of the previous world from the two whose died is got a chat group that connected to multiverse, similar to the two reincarnated person..."

Misogi frowned a little, "Is this just a coincidence? Or there's a deeper connection and reason for this?"

Before he goes deeper in thought, Rimuru wrote a new chat.

[RulerofMonsters: I think it's just a coincindence.]

[RulerofMonsters: We don't know what happened after we die right? Some people said that we're going to afterlife, which is we go to paradise or hell. Some also said we get reincarnated as a new person without our memories from our previous life. Heck, even there's some that said that our soul will cease to exist after we died.]

[RulerofMonsters: And for my and Misogi's case it's different from the reincarnation theory since we retain our memories from our previous life. And If we thought about it-, wait a minute... Then, isn't the light novels and manga about reincarnation to another worlds in our previous world are true?! Our situation are like those isn't it?!]

[RulerofMonsters: Holy shit! Those author unknowingly knows what happened after a person was died! They should get an award!!]

Kazuma and Misogi sweatdropped when reading Rimuru's exclamation. But Misogi expression went serious again.

"Is this just coincidence just as Rimuru had said?" He frowned heavily, tryng to think really hard about this.

Seconds later, he shook his head, "Thinking about this mystery are getting me nowhere... Let's jus leave it to the future. I have feeling this is a serious situation."

Facing the MCG's screen again, Misogi was about write something when the MCG give a notification.

"... Gacha system? Seriously?" Misogi's eyes twitched repeatedly. Incredulous at the game-like mechanics of the MCG.

[RulerofMonsters: ... Ugh... This remind me of when I play FGO...]

[RulerofMonsters: The amount of money I spent... The temptation which really difficult to resist... Truly beffiting as the incarnation of chaos...]

[RulerofMonsters: All Fiction is the ability to erase anything, which includes reality and natural laws. Basically, it's power can remove aspects of reality by turning what's defined as fiction into reality. For example, if Misogi erase his own concept of death, then by simply killing him repeatedly is not enough to kill him since he can came back alive fine as if nothing happened to him. In other words, he is immortal.]

[AdvocateofGenderEquality: Not only that, Misogi can erase the world if he wasn't carreful with it! Heck, in the anime, he also can erase the concept of colors from the universe when he fighting against a person whose ability is controling colors, which leaving the world only in a state of black and white!]

PriestessofThunder & WorstSpirit: "!!"

Akeno and Kurumi was dumbfounded by that info. An ability that can erase law and concept. Isn't that practicaly cheating ability!

Kurumi suddenly thought of something, "If Misogi-san go to my world... Maybe he can..." She then shook her head, "Save that thought for later. I will ask for his help when our relationship are progressing very deeps."

With that, the chats room fell silent as the members opened the gacha panel and started to examined it.

Misogi also excitedly examining it. Giddy about what abilites or item he will get from the gacha like the other members of the Multiverse Chat Group.

He choose the gacha section. The floating screen shifted from green to deep blue color for background with an image of big transparent box in the middle and many capsules inside it. The backgrounds is decorated with many stars twinkling in rainbow color.

A second later it showed a black colored capsule image with big question mark on the middle and had 'Random Banner' written bellow it.

"Huh? There's banner in this Gacha system?" Asked Misogi to no one with a raised eyebrow, looking around inside the screen he found an icon with 'Change Banner' on upper left corners above the 'Top-Ups' icon.

He mentally clicked the 'Change Banner' icon. Inside, it's showing the available banner currently.

Misogi's eyes growing wide as saucer seeing the available banners on the screen.

"Final Fantasy... Will I get Shiva Sisters from Final Fantasy XIII and can riding them when they combined?]

"Fate/Grand Order... Ugh, I remember my addiction to that hell hole of a gacha and spending so much money on it making me only eats instant noodles for a month... I'll pass on this one.]

"Honkai Impact 3rd! Alright! I'll choose this banner!"

Beside the obvious total simp of Elysia, Misogi actualy enjoy playing this game. Whether it's the characters, story, power and weapon, he love all of the game's content. Farming resources and crystals for gacha also quite easy and enjoyable. He also doesn't have any problem with the game's events, he found it rather entertaining.

Without further ado, Misogi immediately choose Honkai Impact 3rd banner.

Instantly, the screen image showing a futuristic logo of Honkai Impact 3rd in white color while the words 'Impact' in neon blue color and the '3' on 3rd words colored orange. Behind the words are many blue hexagons connected with the black ones.

The background are a futuristic battleship called 'Hyperion' flying on the sky majestically.

Under the logo are two columns for pulling gacha with tickets. Each written 1x ticket pull and 10x tickets pulls on the other column.

Seeing the familiar logo making Misogi really excited.

With anticipation and his heart is beating fast and loudly that if someone from his past life hear it they would mistaking it for the famous 'King Engine' from a certain anime with bald headed hero for fun as the main character.

But for some reason, he stopped himself.

"Wait... What if I got weird power like Herrscher of Sexual Desire from Guns Girl Z? That game is the first installment and unofficial prologue of Honkai Impact 3rd isn't?"

For a while Misogi agonized about pulling for Honkai Impact 3rd or changing it to other banners.

Actually, he will got 1% chance of obtaining Herrscher of Sexual Desire's power since it was power from different game instead one from Honkai Impact 3rd even if GGZ are the unofficial prologue of HI3 in one universe when he taking the pulls from this banner. But of course he didn't know that.

"What should I do if I got Herrscher of Sexual Desire's power?! My rationality will overwhelmimg by my lust and I would- wait a minute... Lust?"

Misogi remembered what happened earlier when his 'little bro' getting excited and how he calmed it down.

Having an absurd idea, his eyes begin to shine, "Of course! If I could erase my lust momentarily with All Fiction, I also could erase my bad luck with it and that only leaving me with huge amount of good luck!"

As if having an enlightenment, Misogi raised his head and clasping both his hands in praying gesture, " O, Anshin'in-san. I give you my thanks from the bottom of my heart since you give this specific power to me." (A/N: So, if Ajimi Najimu didn't give you All Fiction, but giving you the power of Herrscher of Sexual Desire/Lust instead, what would you do?)

After gratefully thanking his friend that are no longer in the living world, Misogi immediately made his bad luck being erased with All Fiction then restoring it later with Non Fiction when he finished using his free tickets doing 10x pulls.

With a smile that shining brightly like a sun, Misogi pressed the 10x pulls image in the screen eagerly.

The screen instantly lit up with bright light. When the light dimmed down, it showed a gray metal box with yellow line on the side and a weird looking smilling yellow rabbit on the middle while it dropping down from above. When the box opened, a golden mix with silver coloured light appear from it. Immediately after the light disappeared on the screen are showing a list, the result of free 10x gacha's pulls.

With bloodshot eyes, Misogi reading it impatiently.

The screen showed.

Misogi was speechless. He didn't expect that by removing his bad luck can make him got one SSR and three SRs!

The SSR he got is the Core of the Void. A core that if he absorb would allowing him to use authority of the void, a power that being able to control two elements of the universe, space and time. And thus making him bear the title of Herrscher of Void if he absorb the core.

And the two SRs he got. The first one is the 3rd Divine Key called Key of Sanction - Seven Thunders of Retribution: Narukami. Made in the previous era of Honkai Impact's world 50.000 years ago using the core of the third Herrscher, the Herrscher of Thunder. Making the user of this weapon can control Electrons, electromagnetic field manipulation. This will allow the key to not only summon lightning but also shreds the enemies to atoms. This weapon has a total of 7 forms, each one being a different type of weapon, potentially possessing different abilities with the basic form being a rifle.

The second SR he got is the 9th Divine Key, the Key of Devouring which has two forms. The first form are called Twins of Eden, which shaped as two futuristic black and red twins handguns. The second form is called Star of Eden, a red glowing orb. The 2 forms share the same power, all being gravitational wave manipulation. This will allow the user of the weapon to make a point so dense that it will create a blackhole. The difference being the Twins of Eden can focus the firepower into a straight line while the Star of Eden power is spread onto a whole field. This also has been made from the Previous Era using the core of the 9th Herrscher, the Herrscher of Earth (in the Current Era, they are called as Herrscher of Star).

As for the third SR he got are Honkai Beast Gene: Assaka. Misogi was puzzled for what this gene will be used for. From what he's remembered from the game, Honkai beast genes are used for project MANTIS. This project are created to giving humanity a better chance fighting the honkai in the previous era. The name stands for Massively Augmented Neo-Tech Integrated Soldiers, which is fairly accurate to what a MANTIS is. As suggested, it entails a human given strength through modified Honkai genes called Meta-Morph ICHOR (Intra-Chromosomal Honkai Gene Repeats). The genes are combined via the Meta-Morph surgery.

But Misogi doesn't recall there's MANTIS that gets Assaka's gene thought.

He remembered that Assaka is the Emperor-Class Honkai Beast with the most physical attack damage. Assaka aka the Son of Night and Dawn, is also the most defensive boss until it's shielded fists are deactivated. Assaka is actually 2 separate entities in the game that fused together. Assaka is capable of many devastating attacks that deal a ton of physical damage. It's most damaging attack is it's 'Power Fist' which is when it punches the ground repeatedly creating shockwaves that damage the player. When the player is too far for it to reach, it will use the skill 'Laser Cutter' to hit enemies from far away or it can move towards that specific position with its 'Dash Attack' where it headbutts the player with sharp spikes on its back.

Is this Assaka's Gene are also for project MANTIS?

Checking the description of the said reward, he understood immediately.

"So, if decided to inject this gene to me, it will make me becoming a MANTIS..." Misogi wondered.

Shaking of from his thoughts, he looked at his other rewards.

"For the HOMU Doll <N >, I will give it to Saika. I hope she like it."

"One Salty Tuna <R >, isn't this just a frozen fish that being used as a sword? Maybe mom can make a fried tuna from it."

"Kallen's Fantasy game disc <N >, can it be played in the console or pc of this world?"

"Equipment: Living Form's (ELF) blueprints <R >, ugh... I'm not an inventor like Vill-V and the material also doesn't exist here, so I'll put it away from the time being."

"Bitter Melon Juice <N >, hmmm... I actually wondered why Theresa always like to drinking this, should I try it? *siiip* *cough* *cough* blearghh! What the heck?! This is so bitter! It's has terrible taste! How in the world is TeriTeri love drinking this stuff?!"

"Kiana's Cooking: Omelette ... It got Unique as rarity level, but why it's coloured purple? Didn't I erased my bad luck? Well, I think I'll save it if there's an emergency... Yeah, emergency..."

Satisfied after checking all of his reward from 10x pulls gacha, he instantly focused at his SSR reward. The Core of the Void.

A bright orange crystal appeared on his hand when Misogi taking it out from his inventory which had been prepared by the MCG.

"So this is a herrscher's core. So pretty..." He staring hard at the orange crystal on his hand. Wondering how's to absorb the core of the void into his body, then the chat screen giving him a notice.

*When absorbing the Core of the Void into your body, a barrier will deployed around your room so that the Honkai energy radiation cannot leave the room and causing honkai eruption to the entire city. The assimilation process would need thirty minutes.*

*Proceeds to absorb?*

*Yes/No*

After readIng the notice and feels relieved that there's a barrier to stop honkai radiation spread to the city, Misogi without hestitation press Yes.

In that instant, a massive amount of honkai energy burst out from Misogi after the Core of the Void entering his body. Fortunaly the barrier appeared milisecond later to prevent the honkai energy going out from the room.

Misogi gritting his teeth in pain as the honkai energy fluctuating wildly from his body. He's felt pain in his entire body. His skin turning pale with purple lines that spread rapidly across his body.

Misogi Kumagawa is known for having strong tenacity like cockroach. So he welcomed the pain which he's felt in his body right now until thirty minutes had passed.

After the agonizing thirty minutes was over. Misogi cluthcing his chest while gasping for breath as his body covered in sweats. His skin color also turned back to healthy and the purple lines also disappeared from his skin.

"... That... Was... Painfull..." He groaned out as he falling flat to his bed, "With this I'm turned into Herrscher of Void like Sirin and Kiana, huh."

He got the knowledge and understanding of how to use all of his herrscher abilities after the assimilation. He also somehow had knowledge about physic suddenly, making him at university level of understanding at physic.

Misogi taking a break for five minute to rest his body.

"I'm going to experiment it later... Right now, I going to check Assaka's gene and then inject it in my body."

The MCG giving him a notice again.

*The Meta-Morph surgery only can be doing by the system. The process will taking for twenty minutes.*

*Proceed?*

*Yes/No*

Without hestitation, Misogi pressed yes.

Like before, a sudden excuriating pain assault his body again. Misogi can only holding back his scream with gritted teeth. His body feels like changing it structure. His body flesh and bones feels like it's was melted and being forged anew for better specs.

Finnaly, twenty minutes of hell has passed but for Misogi the pain he feels is like longer than that.

Gasping for breath he keep laying down on his bed. After a few minutes of rest, Misogi felt that his body was very light! And he also feels that all of his senses improved drastically! He can see the his room with detailed accuracy, even when his room is dark, he can see it clearly! His sense of hearing and smell also greatly improved!

"Wow! Now I know how all the MANTISes in previous era felt after having Meta-Morph surgery! It's basically that we're become superhuman with bodies specs like this!"

Grinning widely like an Idiot, he was inturepted when the chat room became active again.
