"So my dream was"

Somya wanted to tell him about her dream but was rudely interrupted by him.

"I am not interested in listening to someone's dirty thoughts. So shut up and finish eating."

"God! I told you it wasn't a wet dream," Somya pouted angrily.

"Oh! so then was it about me? Was I there? In your dream?" he replied while drinking his cup of milk.

His words made Somya think about the mysterious man who was holding her in her dream. She wanted to see who he was but unfortunately failed to do so.

"How is your ankle?" he asked, breaking her train of thoughts when he saw her silent.

"Oh! It's healed. Thank you so much," she said while showing him her ankle.

"Good," he replied casually. He was a doctor, so before her telling him, he already knew her ankle is fine.

"Uhm... I m going to the office today," she said, not meeting his eyes.

He frowned. "It is Sunday, Bunny."

"I know, but I have to go and make myself familiar with the work. Don't worry! I'll be back in a few hours," she got up and started cleaning the table.

Considering her being 'injured,' Varun decided to give a lift to her. Anyways, he has to go to the office today too.

Back in Varun's room, a pitiful Avi was busy cleaning the evidence to keep his boss's pretense of being a 'middle class' while eating the food of a 5-star intact. He was disposing of all those covers and packing wrappers that came with the morning delivery of food and thinking about his boss's changed behavior lately.

Should he inform Rahul Sir about this? Does he know our CEO is staying with a girl? Is he aware of why his boss is pretending to be poor? But wouldn't be telling him means betraying his own boss.

His curiosity was killing him from inside, but he can't dare to betray his boss because the CEO's temper is unpredictable. What if he cut his bonus or, even worse, fired him? He decided to shut his mouth as curiosity can kill the cat.

Somya was working when she got a call from her mother asking about her health and everything. Her mother reminded her to bring some sacrament back for sure. That's when she remembered that she promised her mom to bring sacrament from the sacred temple. She smacked her forehead and hurried to finish her work.

Varun had few works arranged for him when he came to the office.

In the evening, he thought about her and how she will be going back. Knowing her mischievous nature, he can tell she would be using crowded public transport rather than taking a cab just for roaming more. He decided to pick her up as she was 'injured' because of him and will surely suffer in Mumbai's traffic if she went for public transport.

He let his assistant do all the remaining work and decide to deal with the rest of the work at the hotel. He felt it was only natural for him to do this. But only the people near him can tell how different he is reacting from his aloof personality.

His poor secretary almost got a mini heart attack by his words. Not only was his boss skipping work today, but he is also going to pick that girl...no madam by himself? Is he really his boss? Avi decided to treat that Lady better in the future as there are high chances of her being his Lady Boss.

Even Somya can sense that something was wrong with Varun. His care for her is arousing suspicions in her heart. Does he want a favor in return?

Varun picked her up from her office and was about to start the car when she cheerfully said, "Let's go to Devadev* Temple."

Varun's expression had a 180 degrees change, and he coldly asked, "Why?"

"Because my mom asked me to bring some Prashad* for her from there."

He didn't reply.

"Let's go there today. We still have some time left before the sunset."

"No," he said firmly.

She frowned, "Why?"

"It's a long way, and we are new here. What if we got lost?" he just made up an excuse instantly.

"No worries. If we both get lost together, then it will be fun too." She winked at him, emphasizing the words 'together.'

Varun should have known that this excuse would work with anyone but her. She is an Angel seeking chaos in this world. She would surely take it as an adventure if they got lost.

"Still no," he was determined for it.

"Why? Please please please, Varun! I have so much work to do. If not today, then I won't be able to go there any other day," she wailed like a bullied cat.

Varun was feeling conflicted. He wanted to give in to Somya's request, but he can't visit that temple. It's not something up to him.

His subconscious mind can feel his destiny calling her in those wild eyes of her.
