I moved through the woods like a wolf chasing its prey moving in between the trees at a high speed.

Loving the taste of the fresh air, the smell of it, the feeling of freedom of hunting something my primal senses flaring to life.

'Shiiit, that's fucked.' I thought to myself as I watched Elijah's doppelganger drown a blonde haired guy who looked a lot like Jace Wayland from Shadowhunters.

'I think his name's Nick.' I thought to myself as Elijah look-alike who also happens to be Diana's father, dragged the drowned kid out of the bay and into the paved boat launch.

"He's not breathing." I heard Elijah's look alike say.

'Uhh, no shit Sherlock you just drowned him.' I thought to myself as I approached from the woods as I still felt the demon's energy coming from the body.

I could hear the clicking of women's shoes against the pavement before the humans could, and I timed it just right to come out of the woods and into the pier area before the killer's also my coven girl's parents could runaway.

"HEY, SOMEONE CALL NINE ONE ONE, SOME PSYCHOS JUST TRIED DROWNING A KID IT'S A MAN AND A WOMAN ! ! ! !!!!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

I ran forward cloaking my knife sliding across the pavement on my knees pretending to perform CPR as I plunged my knife into the water logged boy's chest absorbing both demon and witch, a sense of replulsion washing over me as I felt the denon's magic try and slither inside of me but also feeling that euphoria that I used to feel while siphoning from the demonic energy.

'Nut-uhh Motherfucker!' I thought to myself as I consumed the demon completely, feeling a fire spread throughout my body as a my body was broken down and put back together again in a process that felt almost exactly like my imperfecred super witch ritual.

I had just enough control over my body to remove my knife from his chest, while my mind was mostly free to flex my magic, which I used to heal his body and expel the water from his lungs, jump start his heart and transfer his soul back to his body.

I looked around just before I lost my eyesight and decided to take a nap while my body evolved further.

'Ahh, shit I fell into a trance instead of a nap.' I thought to myself as I found myself standing in front of a dab gray orb that was around the size of a baseball, but was slowly increasing in size and brightness.

"So this is my soul?" I muttered to myself while inspecting myself.

"Huh, maybe I am really an abomination…souls should range from white, blue and gold while having various ranges between those colors." I whispered to myself as I started to reach out to touch it when golden threads seemed to come from nowhere and snapped into place on either side of the orb. Its color slowly lessening in darkness never quite shining or radiant but less drab and healthier looking.

'So it's like they say love is good for the soul.' I thought to myself while continuing to inspect what was once a baseball sized orb was now around the size of an exercise ball with golden threads connecting to it, knowing that the threads connected me to Diana and Faye.

Soon the threads became cables growing thick and strong, before things caught up to current events and my soul started to devour the demonic energy that was a mix of dark purple, red and black.

The more it consumed the smaller but more substantial it became, its color becoming a darker gray but…radiant somehow as if it was a black sun.

'I might have made a mistake…by consuming that Demonic energy the way I did.' I thought to myself as I felt myself growing stronger and stronger with the darker and more solidified the orb became.

...… ...….. ..... ... .... ...…

Diana and Faye both jerked up right gasping for breath as beads of sweat slid down their bodies in what would have been tantalizing ways, if they weren't deathly pale.

"Kai!" Both gasped out in unison as they felt something that scared them from their connection to him, shakily both Faye and Diana reached out to one another, their hands connecting, which was easy since Kai had had the foresight to put the reclining chairs next to one another.

Together they channeled their power, their magic to Kai. Both girl's eyes met a silent message of I can't lose him passing between them, their magic perfectly in sync with one another's and fully under control as they did so.

Soon they found themselves standing behind Kai as he looked at a black orb that radiated with energy, he turned to face them and both felt a sense of fear his eyes had turned completely black even the whites, while black veins appeared around his eyes.

"Faye…Diana…get…out." Kai groaned as if he was in pain, making Faye and Diana look at each other and not in agreement as they did the exact opposite of that and rushed forward pressing their hands against Kai's chest.

"Even after the sun dies we'll be together…that's what you promised us Kai and you're going to keep that promise!" Faye accused her voice thick with emotion.

"Nothing will break us apart." Diana agreed with Faye as they pushed every ounce of magic they had into Kai making them all fall to their knees.

"Together, three as one forever." Kai's crackling voice croaked into their ears.

Neither girl could look away from the orb as it was flooded with green and purple colored energy…their energy. Soon the sinister feelings they felt while looking at it went away and feelings of warmth, safety and love washed over them from the black sun that could only be Kai.

The girls slowly separated from Kai watching as the black veins receded, while his eyes returned to their beautiful blue color, though his scalera remained black but this smile on his face the warmth and love radiating from his body language and eyes reassured both Faye and Diana that Kai was safe before the black sclera returned to it's normal white color.

"Thanks, Diana…Faye you guy's saved me." Kai whispered as he leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss on each of the exhausted girls forehead's before their presence fades away and both were looking up at the stars and the moon shining above their heads.

"We…" Diana started to say before Faye completed her sentence.

"Can't leave him alone for a second." Faye finished for Diana with a slightly strained giggle that was matched by Diana's own giggle.

"Can you feel it, Faye?" Diana asked while giving Faye a side eyed glance.

"Mmm, if you're talking about Kai's siphoning ability being gifted to us or that warm feeling just beside my heart that feels like Kai's sun…then yes Diana I feel it too." Faye replied as though she sounded like she was reveling in these new sensations before turning a bit sassy out of habit more than desire to shield herself.

"God Faye, do you always have to be such a bitch?" Diana asked in a teasing voice as her hand gripped Faye's slightly tighter to convey her teasing.

"Humph, you know it girl." Faye replied back with a laugh on her lips which made both girl's laugh together as they let go of each other's hands.

"I wonder how Kai will feel, when he learns he gave us his"curse "?" Diana wondered idly.

"It'll probably break his heart to find out, he'll probably think he hurt us instead of giving us…one of the best gifts anyone could ever dream of with all the possibilities siphoning offered while having our own magic." Faye replied as she started to get sleepy and let out yawns throughout her reply.

"Night Faye." Diana whispered as her eyes also grew heavy.

"Nnn-D." Faye replied in her sleep.
