"What am I doing here?" Grimmjow asks, uncomfortably raising a training sword while atnding opposite to Chief Inspector Woo Jin-Chul. "No scratch that... How did it get to this?"

A few minutes ago, Grimmjow walked into the Korean Hunter's Association building after accepting a meeting between him and Chairman Go Gunhee.
"What is it this time..?" Were the line of thoughts Grimmjow had before he attended the meeting, but the answer to his question came like a speeding bullet, surprising him.
"I want you to become my successor." Was the first words Go Gunhee said after both of them sat down.
"I decline." Grimmjow's reply dampened Go Gunhee's mood, but it didn't stop him from trying.
So, following that, Go Gunhee listed the benefits that came with being the Chairman of the Hunter's Association. Including, but not limited to; Resources, Political Power, Money, etc. Although the money he'll be receiving won't be as much as a Hunter, it's still a lot.
"I see how many people would jump at the chance of gaining words that could lead the masses and all that, but it's just not for me." Grimmjow was being pretty adamant on his decision to not become the Chairman.
"Why?" Go Gunhee asked the important question at Grimmjow's repeated refusal, but the answer made Go Gunhee grow a smirk larger than his face.
"You saw my power. This type of power doesn't just sit and collect dust in an office. I want to go into Gates to learn how to control my strength and master all my skills." Was Grimmjow's answer, which lead to his current predicament.

"You said you wanted to train, so here you go." Go Gunhee says and takes a seat on a chair away from Grimmjow and Woo Jin-Chul.
"I'm fairly sure that I specifically said through Gates." Grimmjow stated with a straight face.
"Listen." Go Gunhee lets out before sighing. "You can still enter Gates while being a Hunter Association Chairman." He says, resulting in an eyebrow raise from Grimmjow. "Although you can't constantly enter Gates and you have to notify people when you'll be going, you can still enter Gates. Hell, even I sometimes enter Gates with Chief Inspector Woo here to just let off some steam. It's just that we keep it under wraps so the public doesn't panic." He finishes his little speech with another sigh.
"Hmmm." Grimmjow hums while keeping eye contact with Go Gunhee. "How many times could a Chairman enter Gates?" He asks.
"Are my words getting to you?" Go Gunhee says with a chuckle, only for his words to be met with a long drawn silence. "Anyway. Like I said, you can't enter Gates constantly. You can't even enter one every week. At most you can enter one each month..." He says, but continues after seeing Grimmjow's uninterested look. "But." He draws out. "You're not going to be the Chairman instantly."
"What do you mean?" Intrigued by Go Gunhee's words, Grimmjow questions.
"I'm gonna have to essentially train you to become my successor. And while I'm doing that, you can enter as much Gates as you want. I may be old, but I can still live." Go Gunhee explains with a smile and a laugh at the end.
"I see." Grimmjow mutters. "So while in the 'training' period, I'll just be a Hunter with a fancy title?" He asks, receiving a nod in return.
"But I will be training you seriously in becoming the Chairman." Go Gunhee says.
"Very well." Grimmjow states before looking down at the training sword within his grasp. "Can you give me some time to think about this?" He asks.
Grimmjow isn't too sure about becoming the Association Chairman. He feels like it's too much weight for him, who is someone who just doesn't want to care about things like that. Not to mention, even he knows that he's a bit bad on the emotional spectrum of life.
"I'm fine with giving you time." Go Gunhee nods. "Meanwhile, you can come here to request sparring matches against Chief Inspector Woo. Although he might not be as strong as you, he has a lot of thing to teach you."
"Do I have a say in this?" Woo Jin-Chul mutters, but his words enter Go Gunhee's one ear and exits out the other.
"What do you say?" Go Gunhee asks Grimmjow, who nods.
"Hn." Grimmjow hums in agreement and puts the training sword on the ground. "I first want to learn close combat before moving on to sword combat." He states and raises his fist, getting into a boxing stance he saw on movies and videos in his previous life.
Woo Jin-Chul sighs before nodding, accepting his faith as the premium punching bag for the Soon-to-be next Chairman. "Very well." He says and takes off his suit jacket and tie before throwing it to the ground and ruffs up his slicked back orange hair.
Taking bandages out of his pocket, Woo Jin-Chul wraps his two fists with it and opts into his own martial arts stance as his eyes start glowing purple, signaling his usage of his abilities.
Woo Jin-Chul is a Fighter-Class Hunter. His abilities consist of; Superhuman Strength, Superhuman Speed and Superhuman Durability.
Both fighters launch at each other before trading blows, with Woo Jin-Chul being on the losing side of the fight for the first few hits while Grimmjow tried reigning in his power for it to be on the same level as Woo's, but of course it took some time, because he had to measure Woo's strength and speed.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines, a smiling Go Gunhee could be seen. "It's great to be young." He mutters while looking at the two people who rarely show emotions. It is his plan for both of them to become closer through the sparring.

Yo update... It's as you thought... I dropped it. I don't know if I'll ever continue this. Maybe when I'm in the mood, but I just don't feel like continuing the story. It started when I thought about the whole time cup thingy in Solo Leveling. I mean it exists, so someone will use it. And Grimmboy wasn't in that world at that time... And my protag was planned out to be a cool hero, so he wouldn't stop Sung from using the cup. And even if grimmy did... Sung would fuck my boy up. But watever I just don't have an ending for this story so I thought: Why continue? SO yeah.... maybe I'll continue someday... Im doing some other fanfic now, although it has nothing to do with action, so idk how itll turn out hehe.
