CHAPTER 12 ALL IN ONE PLACE

He knew this from looking down as just a few 100 meters below them lay an Island he knew very well. as one of his biggest regrets.

Darkseid: as you know Gabriel was removed from his mother's body and placed in an incubation accelerator, used to breed new slaves, aging him to the prime of adolescence. Sent to Earth to become a slave for Davan Shakari, the Emperor's hand on Earth, he escaped being found by Moira MacTaggart with little or no memories of who he was or where he came from. She took him as her ward and instructed him in the use of his nascent powers. And now I want Charles to continue the story of his side.

Everyone looked at Charles who now doesn't look in any good condition. He knew someday this would come for him. He can't run away from his past so he sighs. Takes a deep breath and speaks.

Charles: So this is a long story and your mind is calm. I will tell you everything just hear me out first so this is Krakowa; "The Island That Walks Like a Man" is a sentient living island located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. But I don't know about this until it was too late. The X-Men then consisting of Cyclops, Angel, Havok, Iceman, Storm, and Jean, came to the island after Cerebro detected an unknown mutant there, and when you came here you all were captured by Krakoa, who used you as food sources.

As everyone nodded they had many questions like how they don't remember anything but they waited.

Charles: "So seeing the situation turn so dire I went to Another team of young mutants, composed of Petra, Darwin, Sway, and the third Summers brother Kid Vulcan, so During an encounter with him I recognized his mental imprint as being related to Cyclop but I didn't do anything as all your lives were on the line. Then

from a parallel X-Mansion led by one of my best friends Moira MacTaggart, who was sent to help the X-Men. Vulcan and his team rescued you all from Krakoa and Vulcan was able to hurt the living island, which greatly enraged the creature. Vulcan revealed to you Scott that they were in fact brothers, and sent you all away on their jet to safety."

Charles:  "However, tragedy struck As the jet took off, you'll watch in horror as the living island struck down and, seemingly, killed Vulcan and his team. Sway was hit first, and severed in two at her torso. Her body released the last of her mutant power to slow time down around them and what happens next no one knows."

Charles: "After the apparent deaths of the team, you returned to X- Mansion in a hysterical state, you all blame yourselves for their deaths. And it started to get in between our missions to save all of you all always return with wounds. So for the greater good of you all, I decided it was best for all involved if I altered memories of you all to forget about Vulcan and his team, to spare everyone the agony of their loss. A new team was assembled and successfully rescued the original X-Men from Krakoa. And altered the other mutants' minds to cast the illusion of a speaking, sentient Krakoa".

Hearing all these young Mutants don't know what to do after it was none other than the professor they believed in so much had just told them he did all this and now the question was is this the first time? How long since their professor has been messing with their minds

There are many other members of their group that died and they don't even know him.  Are they doing all this with their own free will, putting their lives on the line to save a race that is killing their own kind, and even hates them? Is all their life a lie, are they even real? are they alone or does the whole school for gifted youngsters' minds flirting at any point in time Is this all fake, a fake life with fake memories? How long without the man in front of them who seems to be more than anything will this remain hidden from them? Is the Professor ever going to tell them about this without him? And many more questions were asked by their minds. So all in all they had an identity crisis.

Which will happen to anyone,  after all with a man who can read minds and alter minds on a global scale who could say they are not living a lie for their whole lives and this stone hit them hard and it hit hardest to all the females because of Darkseid's continuous influence. And they plan to tell this to their friends and ask if their behavior has ever changed out of nowhere or if they try to remember if they themselves notice any changes in behavior but who can say the professor didn't alter memories in a wider range?

While all the older Mutants just Sigh as they knew him very well and Wolverine's claws came out now he also had an identity crisis after all his whole life is just some pictures to him who could say it's not Charles doing? and even Raven had a stone on her head who could say they didn't do the deed, it's just she doesn't remember and it was the same for everyone.

As they all were angry, especially the parents who had lost all that was theirs. They were so lost all this they didn't notice they were deciding down. Then "Boom" as Darkseid landed on the ground as everyone's concentration returns to Darkseid as they can talk about this later

As Darkseid moves towards vines and roots come out of the ground and try to grab Darkseid who was walking all chill about as before they even reach him all stopped as if some kind of force field was stopping as no matter how many how hard they try they aren't able to move towards then they try to do something different they go from up but same happens then they go to underground and try to come out just below his feet but it also didn't happen vines and roots just stuck in one place not able to move forward.

After walking for a few seconds Darkseid stop moving "Shack" "Shack" as the whole Island of Krakoa started to shake like hell and "Roar" giant creatures made of the Island itself run towards him but they intently broke apart into very small things they were made of like toys before they even reach him.  then "Boom" and "Crack".

As Darkseid lightly slams his foot on the ground which was enough to send shock waves and Cracks around 10 km as the whole Krakoa was shaken and damaged from the Kick Darkseid spoke after knowing it will not come without any serious warning as red energy shined in his foot.

Darkseid: "So are you coming out or I just wipe this Island from the face of this planet?"

As Darkseid Spokes this the Islands shake and a giant being emerges from the Island It looks like made of trees and ground itself it looked similar to Groot just bigger not only made of trees but also ground.

Darkseid: "It's good you appear Now here is the thing you give me back the Kid and body remains of both Petra and Sway, Suzanne Chan I know you didn't let their bodies decompose because of the energies they were releasing even after death. And In a few days, I will give you a good power source that will never die or run out of energy so you can leach them as much as you want and in some days I will Unite every Mutant under my name and they all will live here." Said Darkseid whose eyes were shining and Krakoa knew what is the meaning of saying anything besides yes while lowering his head.

As he can feel the Aura around the man and the energy that was surrounding this man's leg as every fiber of his being was telling him if it touched him it would erase his very existence. So he didn't say anything and lowered his head as A young man who seems to be out cold and 2 skeletons came hovering in front of Darkseid who nodded as first he put both skeletons in his dimension as he needed something to revive someone he can't revive someone that has nothing remind in physical realm Of course if he kills someone he can revive them without anything.

Darkseid Pov

"Time Stop"

Let's see now everything has stopped. What should I do? How do I approach the situation so there is a A kid name Darwin has the powers that I needed for my long run as I can't just run around and absorb powers and hope that my body will continue to adapt no there must be an end where I won't be able to absorb more as no matter how powerful this body is and who well it could adapt, it still just one of the infinite copies of true Darkseid.

So this is not fiction nor do I have a powerful system that completely removes limitations so there is always a limit and I don't want to live within the limit. No, I want to become more powerful than even True form Darkseid could ever hope for.

So here comes the solution: the kid that is inside Vulcan is Darwin and just like Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. He has the powers of Superior Adaptation Darwin's powers of self-protection offer continuous circumstantial evolution. Darwin can adapt to any situation. His reactive mutation adjusts his capabilities to his environment. Examples of such manifestations include receiving functioning gills after being submerged in water, gaining night vision after being in the dark for several seconds, being able to survive without oxygen when in space, his skin becoming fireproof when it is exposed to flames, his body becoming pure energy, his intelligence increasing itself or the understanding of the Shi'ar language by looking at it in written form.

So he had Immortality or Near Immortality and his mutant genes can do some bonker things. He can survive Death touches from Gods of Death. And on top of that, he had Proactive Adaptation: his mutations could proactively ensure his survival sometimes even by affecting others around him.

He never had a permanent Adaptation so if he grows gills they will be gone after he came out of the water,

the story so when Petra and Sway were killed by Krakoa, Darwin and Vulcan were swallowed into the earth by a combination of Sway and Petra's dying powers? Darwin absorbed the remains of the two girls and then converted himself into energy to fuse together with Vulcan. This gave Vulcan the powers of Darwin,

So after I can easily separate both of them, after all, it's just energy then Darwin will create a body and I can easily drain him. But problems lie here. If I do that I will lose a great soldier that could be used on the battlefield.

As I know with some time I can easily replicate his mutation but I don't have the luxury of it as I don't know after my last stunt who will come after me I am not afraid but I know my limitations as I am not stupid and will jump in a losing fight when I know if this time I died I will be dead for good. As I know I can't face more than 7 Celestials at a time. I can defeat all the Celestials but one at the time as more than 9 and I am a goner even after using Great Darkness. As channeling too much hurt this body as it was made for true from Darkseid to use I can even use it itself is a miracle. but not long as I am going to search all the power that is on this planet I thought as I started to pull out energy from Darwin.

Which was easy once he was out I resume the time around him so his body can be started to take a physical form as I wanted to drain everything Once his body was created before he even opens his eyes I froze the time and watch the magic myself as his body hair was moving and if giving enough time he will move like me but not gonna happen as I next Command Zelda to scan him coping his DNA structure and genome sequencing after all I can always give these powers to someone else I desire.

After she was done his eyes showed great moments So I placed my hands on his shoulder and spoke the magic words that I didn't need. I just liked the sound of it.

"Drain"

As I didn't feel anything as he was losing muscle mass at speeds far greater than anything while his powers try their best to adapt to my touch but were too late and too much as trying to move in time stop itself was a great challenge then my Drain touch was too much and just like that his whole body started to deteriorate and I no time I drain every ounce of Energy from his body and even his soul and life force was gone and now if I resume the time around him his body will freeze instantly as now even moments between his atoms has come to stop he is will be absolute zero. 

So first I vaporized him.  As I felt all the energies that I absorbed today that were running wild just some time ago now came to stop as the power of evolution doing its job forcing all those energies to settle down and I can feel a great scene of peace from inside. as I was feeling not only energies were settling down but all the memories also. 

I then resumed time as everyone was still looking at me as to what I will do next and from time to time also looking at Gabriel who was still out cold So I floated him beside them letting his body fall into the arms of his parents. 

It was time to meet one of the greatest scientists And the best genetics at Marvel a scientist who was obsessed with deterministic interpretations of natural evolution. 

3rd Person Pov. 

We see a small town surrounded by a point-blue force field. The town looked like an old-style England town with a giant mansion and a giant castle at the end of the road. 

and even the people were walking around wearing old-style England clothes. 

But in a look near them, they all looked the same with pale skin, the same faces, and a red ruby on their heads. 

We see on the balcony of Giant castle a man with the same face as everyone but the air around him was completely different from everyone else. He has a wine glass in his hand while looking at his city. 

Then a man with the same looks just older wearing Butler clothing came running towards him and spoke. 

The space battalions report a new type of teleportation has been used just like before at 

Psychic battalions report the being who spoke before will be here soon and now he is trying to divine our location.

IT BEGINS Spoke the man while looking at the sky with a big grin on his face. 

Disconnect those manning the spires from

the hive mind. Conceal us for as long as they can manage to honor them they fight a psychic Thermopylae. 

"Boom" "Shatter" As the man says this the multi-layered blue field shatters into millions of pieces like a broken mirror. 

Seeing this man looking up into the sky he saw it as the best of their kind, his best test. 

"Well it seems it's already too late but let's present the best we can present to the king" Siad man as he looked in front of him. 

"Sinister prime to the people. Now the war is upon us, and we must beat our plowshares into swords. In these last few weeks, we lived in a green and pleasant land.

Spoke Mister Sinister to the people or should I say his own clones after hearing the mental command all the people in the city had their eyes shined red while they all looked in the sky.
