6 Chapter 6 : Arata Sensei
Guren's office.
Arata grabbed Guren by the collar of his shirt and lifted him in the air, his face contorted with anger.
It was impossible for Arata to get angry, and everyone knew this, so if someone he knew saw the current Arata, he would be surprised.
"What is the meaning of this, Guren?!" Arata shouted angrily, increasing the strength in his hand that gripped Guren's neck.
"What do you believe?" Guren asked softly, not caring about Arata's anger.
"Don't play the fool! Why would you let Yuu and Kimizuki kill Yoichi?!" Arata questioned as purple Cursed marks appeared all over his body. "You should know that I only help you for Mito, Shigure, and the others."
"I already know that," Guren replied and sheathed his sword to prevent Mahiru from attacking Arata.
"You did so much for Yuu, Kimizuki, and Yoichi because you said they were an important factor to help Mito and the others, and now you were going to abandon Yoichi, and most importantly, you wanted Yuu and Kimizuki to kill him... Tell me why," Arata quickly said, his breathing becoming heavier with every word.
"Calm down, this was just a test," Guren said, freeing himself from Arata's grip and arranging his clothes.
"Test?... Don't mess with me!" Arata said, staring at Guren suspiciously as he could sense he was serious when he ordered Yuu and Kimizuki to kill Yoichi.
"I wanted to make sure that they wouldn't abandon Yoichi or come to his aid," Guren said frankly, not paying attention to Arata's suspicious look.
"I'll leave it at that, but… never again," said Arata, shooting a killing intent towards Guren.
"You... did you get attached to them even though you always said they were just tools," Guren said, looking at Arata amusedly.
"Shut up..." - said Arata coldly, ignoring Guren, then looked at Guren's sword - "and don't think it's there again because if you try to do something funny, I will destroy your dear little sister."
*Clatter*
An overwhelming pressure and great killing intent surrounded Arata, and Mahiru appeared, her body radiating with great killing intent.
"If you put a finger on Shinoa, Kasuga Arata will regret it," Mahiru said, her voice full of killing intent, and Guren's sword was on Arata's neck.
"Oh, scary..." - said Arata, smiling sarcastically at Mahiru.
"You two stop," Guren said, slashing his sword very quickly and returning it to its scabbard.
Upon hearing Guren's killing intent and pressure disappeared, Mahiru returned to normal.
"Then I'll go now." - Saying this, Arata turned and left without giving Guren a chance to speak.

"Have you calmed down?" Guren asked, looking at Arata, who had returned to normal.
"What do you want?" - Arata ignored Guren's question, apparently still angry from yesterday.
"Sigh~, well, it doesn't matter. In the end, you'll calm down," Guren sighed tiredly and returned to his seriousness. "You will be appointed as the supervisor of the Shinoa Division, and you only need to step in when their lives are in danger, and I want you to give them instructions to become stronger because despite having Four Black Demons, they don't have the basics of using weapons, so I want you to help them."
"Okay, but on the condition that I won't take orders from Hiiragi Shinoa," Arata said seriously because Shinoa was so annoying.
"You have this." Guren nodded, not having the intention of making Arata obey Shinoa's orders.
"So what am I going to do now?" - Arata asked, not knowing what Shinoa would do.
"The Moon Demon Company is going to subjugate the Vampires in Shinjuku, so I want you to participate but not allow you to transform into a Namanari unless the Shinoa group is in danger." Guren said seriously because transforming into a Namanari was one of his trump cards, so he didn't want anyone to know about it.
"Well, then when are we going to move towards Shinjuku?" - Arata nodded and agreed to Guren's order because he had no intention of showing anyone Namanari's transformation but if he had no other choice, he would use it without hesitation and would make sure of the safety of Mito and Shigure along with Yuu and the others.
"Now," Guren said, and got up from his seat and walked out of the office.
"Damn you." Arata cursed under his breath and followed behind Guren.

"As you heard from Guren, I will only be an overseer and will only intervene if I decide the situation is out of your control," said Arata as they headed to the Vampires' hideout.
"Why is Arata supervising us?" Yuu murmured indignantly, not accepting that Arata was supervising him.
"It's because I have 4 years of experience fighting Vampires and the Four Horsemen of John," said Arata casually.
The disaster started about 8 years ago, and in the first four years after the disaster began, Arata was just wandering around killing Vampires and the Four Horsemen of John.
Although Arata didn't have the Cursed Gear at the time, he destroyed the rings that protect the vampires from ultraviolet rays, causing the vampires to be burned by the sun's rays.
Although the sunlight wouldn't easily kill Noble Vampires, the sunlight was enough to kill Normal Vampires.
The group was surprised by Arata's statement and wanted to talk, but they were interrupted by a nearby noise.
"Kiyaa, help!" A little girl shouted as she ran towards Arata and his group, apparently running away from something.

The alley the little girl came out of exploded, revealing the Four Horsemen of John trying to kill the little girl.
"Wait, Yuu," said Arata upon seeing that Yuu wanted to rush to the girl's aid. "Do you want to help her?"
"That's right" - Yuu nodded and was ready to rush back, but was stopped when Arata grabbed his shoulder.
"This is a trap that Vampires often use," Arata said, staring at Yuu seriously and asking. "Even though you know this, do you want to break it?"
"That's right," Yuu answered firmly, breaking free from Arata's grip and lunging at the little girl without hesitation.
"W..." - Mitsuba wanted to stop Yuu, but Arata stopped her.
"Let him do whatever he wants, this is a good opportunity for him to learn the tricks of the Vampires" - said Arata and agreed with Mitsuba, who wanted to catch up with Yuu.
"Everyone, start the lineup!!" - commanded Shinoa and summoned her giant scythe.
Hearing Shinoa's command, everyone quickly gathered together and watched the surroundings earnestly.
Of course Arata was an exception and was watching Yuu's fight with the Four Horsemen of John.
"That's bad," Arata muttered upon seeing Yuu's fight with the Four Horsemen of John.
Yuu relied on pure physical strength and didn't even know the basics like regulating breathing and movement to reduce fatigue and increase strength.
"Looks like he needs training from scratch," Arata muttered, really asking why Guren hadn't taught him even the basics these past four years.
The Four Horsemen of John wasn't Yuu's opponent, and he was killed without much effort.
"Get ready, the Vampires have arrived," Arata said as he saw the Vampires jumping from place to place and heading towards Yuu.
"Come here," he said to the little girl who obediently ran to him, then looked at Shinoa and the others and spoke. "You go support Yuu, and I'll leave the little girl's protection to me."
Upon hearing Arata's words, Kimizuki didn't hesitate and rushed to cut off the Four Horsemen of John who wanted to attack Yuu from behind.
"Your back is open, Baka Yuu," Kinizuki sneered and cut the Four Horsemen of John to pieces.
The Four Horsemen of John was a persistent beast with an obsession with killing humans, so even when he was cut into pieces, he tried to attack Kimizuki using his tail.
Although the Four Horsemen of John's attempt was not bad, this did not escape Yoichi's eyes, and he fired a few arrows, causing the tail of the Four Horsemen of John to snap off.
"Cursed Gear," the Vampire murmured in astonishment upon seeing Yuu and the others' weapons.
"They are a Vampire extermination unit," said the woman Vampire, looking at everyone warily.
The Vampire Extermination Unit was a nightmare for Normal Vampires.
"Go call backup, we'll catch them," said the former Vampire towards the woman Vampire.
"I want to see you try this," said Yuu, who took advantage of the opportunity and crept up to the side of the Vampire who was giving orders.
Hearing Yuu's voice beside them, the Vampires didn't hesitate to jump and take a distance from Yuu.
"..." Arata looked at Yuu and couldn't help but shake his head in disappointment.
Yuu's idea of sneaking into the Vampires' side was a good one, but Arata didn't know why he had revealed himself before killing one of them.
If Yuu hadn't stopped to speak, he could have killed the Vampire who was giving the orders with this surprise attack, but because he stopped talking, it gave the Vampires a chance to dodge the attack.
"I guess I'll have to show him what a surprise attack looks like," murmured Arata, drawing his sword from its scabbard, and hiding.
"Arrrgh!!" at this time, the Vampire who was giving orders cried out in pain and fear upon seeing the Cursed Gear pierce his heart.
"This is Yuu's sneak attack," said Arata, drawing his sword from the vampire's heart, which had turned to ash.
"…" Shinoa Squad stared at Arata in shock, not expecting him to be so strong.
No one noticed Arata's presence until he spoke, which is why they all felt shivers down their spines.
"Secondly, you all do not master the basics of fighting, and that is why you use a lot of strength, which causes you to tire quickly," Arata continued, killing the other Vampires in an instant. "In short, you depend a lot on the strength that you got from Cursed Gear and do not know how to use it."
"No matter how great the power is, if you don't know how to use it properly, there is no use in it," concluded Arata, putting his sword back in its scabbard and walking towards the little girl. "We will be back."
Everyone followed behind Arata with stunned expressions because they hadn't expected Arata to kill the three Vampires so easily.
"As expected of someone appointed as supervisor by Lieutenant Colonel Guren," Mitsuba murmured as she looked at Arata's back, who was walking with the little girl.
Upon hearing Mitsuba's muttering, everyone silently nodded as they couldn't help but agree with Mitsuba that Arata is extremely powerful.
