33 Chapter 33 : Vaizel's Fighting Festival ll

"As expected," muttered Arata upon seeing how Diane sent that huge man named Griamore flying with a punch to the jaw.

"The winner is the beautiful and charming girl, Matrona!!" declared the referee, prompting cheers from the audience, except for Arata and The Seven Deadly Sins.

"Hahaha, I've been exposed," said Diane as she leaped in front of Meliodas and the others.

"Who are you?" asked Meliodas, unable to recognize Diane when she shrank to human size.

"Jah!" cried Meliodas in pain as Diane punched him in the solar plexus.

"Idiot captain!!" Diane shouted in anger, walking away and cursing Meliodas.

"Did you do something?" mumbled Meliodas, clutching his solar plexus in pain.

"You are really an idiot," King said, following Diane anxiously.

"It's your mistake," said Arata, patting Meliodas' shoulder, "It's better to go and apologize to Diane."

After informing Meliodas, Arata didn't wait to see what he would do and climbed into the arena, ready for his own battle.

_

"The second round of the quarter-finals: Arata VS Howzer," the referee announced to the audience, lowering his hand and declaring, "Begin!"

"Total combat power: 1910," Arata mumbled, staring at Howzer using Evil Eye.

"I'll make the first move," Arata said, looking at Howzer, "I advise you to use your full power, or you'll lose without being able to do anything."

"Are you serious?" asked Howzer, feeling unsure about Arata's confidence.

"That's right, Holy Knight Howzer," Arata said, provoking Howzer quite clearly.

"Are you provoking me, knowing that I'm a Holy Knight?" asked Howzer, unable to hide his excited smile.

Howzer was thrilled to participate in the fighting festival, especially when he saw Arata, who was clearly confident of defeating him despite knowing his identity.

"That's right," Arata nodded, smirking, as he stood comfortably in the arena.

For Arata, the festival was just a game and an opportunity to copy the magic of the participants.

Arata had already copied Griamore's magic, and now he planned to copy Howzer's magic, leaving only the old man, Cain.

But what he really wanted to copy was Meliodas's technique, which erased Cain's magic in the anime.

"Well, here I am," Howzer said, using his magic Tempest to create small tornadoes under his feet and around his fists, rushing quickly towards Arata.

"Not bad," Arata said, using Tempest to gather winds in his hand, forming a ball, "But unfortunately, your opponent is me."

Arata smoothly dodged Howzer's attack and countered with his own wind ball aimed at Howzer's stomach.

"Rasengan," Arata said lightly, and Howzer was thrown out of the arena, coughing up blood and internal organs.

Although Arata called his technique Rasengan, it was merely an imitation he had made recently. It didn't have the true power of Rasengan, but it was enough to defeat Howzer.

"The winner of the second round of the quarter-finals is Arata!!" the referee announced with great enthusiasm.

Upon hearing the announcement, Arata yawned and walked over to where Ban was watching his match.

Arata and Ban stood together, and soon the rest of the Seven Deadly Sins joined them.

After King was defeated, the final battle of the quarter-finals began between Ban and Meliodas.

The battle unfolded much like in the anime, with Ban taking control from the start thanks to his magic, but ultimately being defeated by Meliodas, who transformed into a demon.

The semi-finals started, and the first battle was between Arata and Diane.

"Arata, don't you dare hurt Diane," King shouted, unable to bear the thought of seeing Diane injured.

"Shall we begin?" Arata asked, ignoring King's cries, as it was impossible for no one to get hurt in a fight.

"Of course," Diane nodded and quickly created some seals, slamming the ground, "Double crush!!"

The ground turned into two fists the size of a human in an instant, and Diane tried to crush Arata.

"Too slow," Arata said, creating wings of fire and evading Diane's attack.

These wings were made from the magic he copied from Cain while fighting Meliodas.

"Flight is unfair," Diane grumbled, puffing her cheeks in annoyance.

"Everything is fair in war and love," Arata said nonchalantly, creating dozens of flaming spears and pointing them at Diane, "Rain of Flame."

Instantly, dozens of spears made of flame rushed towards Diane, who quickly created a wall to defend herself.

"Diane!!" King shouted anxiously as he saw Diane's wall being easily destroyed by Arata's rain of flame.

"The Twin Golems!!" Diane created two golems who stood before her, protecting her from the Rain of Flame.

"Earth Sword!!" Diane called forth a sword made of earth, which shot up towards Arata.

"Arrgh," Arata winced in pain as the left side of his body disappeared.

"Good job noticing my weakness, but it's not enough to defeat me," Arata said, and the missing left side of his body quickly regenerated.

"That's not fair," Diane yelled, feeling more and more frustrated as she fought against Arata, who was essentially cheating.

"Was it like this?" Arata mumbled, ignoring Diane and using his magic, Creation, "Earth Sword!!"

"Heavy Metal!!" Diane used her giant's magic, turning her body into some kind of metal.

"I'm sorry, but this is the end," Arata said, pouring more magical power into the Earth Sword, causing Diane to be thrown out of the arena.
