"You are dead" said the shiny humanoid infront of me. To which I replied "OK"nonchalantly.

I knew it was true.

My name was Ruudi, and I was a 18 year old shut in. Since the day I read my first manga when I was 15, I became addicted to them. So much so that I rarely came out of my room. I read nearly all of the highest rated ones like dragon ball, one piece, bleach, one punch man,naruto. And obscure ones like Sono Mono Nichi nii.

One day when I was going to check out the latest manga releases from the nearest store, I got caught as a hostage by a bunch of terrorists. Apparently they had stolen a crate of grenades from an army camp and they wanted to get away using me as a hostage.

Soon the army surrounded us and evacuated the area. So the man near me held a pistol to my temple and demanded to be released. When the soldiers looked at their senior officer ,who looked at me with pity.

"sorry kid"

Before I could figure out why they opened fire.

So I was certain what the glowing man said was true. And the thing was I didn't blame the officer for shooting. I mean if they let them go many more would have died. So it was a 'kill one to save many ' decision.

"So who are you?" I asked the glowing man infront of me.

"I am one of thirty three million gods of earthly realm, and your selfless sentiment impressed me. "He replied "Thus you will be granted a boon for your next reincarnation"

'So reincarnation is a real thing' I thought, "will I be born on earth?".

"yes but not this earth .you will spin this wheel" he stated materialising a wheel "and be reincarnated with your memories in the world where the arrow points."

I looked at my options and surprisingly the names read many fictional worlds I knew. So I gripped the wheel tightly before giving it a mighty swing, leaving my fate to lady luck.

I watched it spin round and round with butterflies in my stomach, till saw it land on twilight world.

And I just fell on my knees and wept .

I was going to reincarnate in a sappy love story where disco vampires and giant wolves look for their quote "fated love". The only reason I even read this story was because my sister tricked me into it . She told me it was a great vampire story, and I stupidly believed her. Sad thing was, after reading one book I couldn't stop myself from reading the entire series. I mean, no offence to the author but, that story just isn't for boys or men. It was and forever will be my greatest regret.

I looked at the god infront of me "It won't be the same as the book. Right?"I asked with a slight hope,but his next words steam rolled over the the hope I built up.

"Thought is the cause, and cause has effects. Thought is built on preception. And the world is built on the thought . Every world is built on thought of the source" he replied. Then after seeing my confused face he sighed and said "Because twilight world is based on the book ,it will be the same as the book" Then ignoring my sour face he continued "you can now state any reasonable wish you would like to have. Bear in mind the wish you choose must at least have a semblance to the world's power."
"So I can't even be a saiyan?" I lamented at my crushed dreams of blasting Edward Cullen with a kamehameha. "No" the god deadpanned. "Then can I have ghoul powers from Tokyo ghoul?" The god replied "yes,but anything beyond kakuja(full body clad kagune) is not allowed".After thinking for a while, I decided "I want to reincarnate as a ghoul, but I want to be able to eat normal food, I want all ukaku, koukaku, rinkaku, and bikaku kagune that have individual forms and together form a kakuja like the centipede,with armour as the default shape. All my kagune and my kakuja shape should be changeable at my will.And they should be like the quinque in quinx ,so I only have to eat extra to fix my kagune when they are broken. l also want to have adaptability and immortality".

The god looked at me for a few minutes, perhaps surprised by my selfish requests, then he said "Very well, you will get all kagune and kakuja,but there will be no abilities as in the Tokyo ghoul :Re. You will have to eat raw meat to fix your kagune or gain superhuman level of energy, otherwise you will be weakned. The adaptable body will be greatly under powered ,but adaptability to conditions can be increased after a great amount of exposure. And as long as you have enough energy you won't age. Now how would you like to be reincarnated?"

"I want to be born as an orphan and the only ghoul in twilight world, I also don't want any imprint or fated one bullshit forced on me.I want to make my own choices, and if possible add a inteligent dragon from a world to my mind space so it can help me out with mind readers or fate readers."

"Anything else you want?" The god asked me with a voice dripping with sarcasm,then gave a defeated sigh ."I will do something about it, though it will take some time ".I nodded my head after thinking about it."Then off you go" I lost consciousness.
