The vampires looked quite young. If one were to guess they looked the age of college students barring one male who looked like he was at his mid thirties. The young ones gave off the scent of blood slightly while the older one had a smell of rust and bleach.
A male and female were flirting while they watched other two play hacky sack,and the oldest fed the fire ,albeit from quite a distance. looked like any group of campers, if the object they were using to play games was not a freshly severed human head.
"Disgusting" I mentally spat at their actions."Hypocrite much?" A sarcasm filled voice sounded in my mind"
"What? I've never done anything like that, even to animals I hunted." I retorted . I could understand the need for hunting humans, but I would never approve of the actions performed by the vampire. I kept staring angrily at the the vampires when Artalis's voice questioned "Are you gonna keep staring ,or you going to fight?" I could only smile tiredly before I unfurled my wings(Ukaku) and jumped.
With the stealth of an owl , I glided for a few seconds , and when I was about eight feet to the ground, I tucked my wings and curled up into a ball. As I hit the ground, the momentum rolled me towards the oldest vampire like a bowling ball. The man barely had time to stand up before I straightened myself and spun my upper body with my wings outstretched like blades, completely decapitating him. Before his head could touch the ground, I grabbed it with my left hand and threw it into the conveniently placed campfire,where it lit up as if it was soaked in gasoline. All done in less than a tenth of a second.
The body of a ghoul is a true masterpiece. Every part of it is built for hunt. It's equipped naturally with iron hard skin,superior strength, healing and reflexes, natural weapons and enhanced senses and instincts. Adding with my experience in the wilderness and quick adaptability,I was able to transform myself into a well oiled hunting machine. And thank to my god given body ,I was able to take down the vampire with ease.
The newborns stared at me in shock with their mouths open before they gathered themselves and charged at me together in speeds untraceable to normal eyes.
Catching their rushing figures with my red glowing pupils ,a grin adorned my face behind the mask. I put off my wings to my kakuhou before pulling out my arm blades (koukaku)and charged at them
The first to meet it's end was the male vampire who was flirting during the camp, he rushed at me before leaping towards me ,arm reaching out for my throat. while the speed and fierceness was admirable, his whole body was open. Before he reached my throat ,I flipped over him while slashing downwards, and the moment my feet touched the ground the boy's body bisected before the pieces tumbled off to different directions with it's momentum while internal organs and venom splashed everywhere.
A banshee like scream erupted from the last one charging at me before she fell on her knees. I assumed her to be the mate of the vampire I just killed . Dodging the co operated attack of the other couple, I moved towards the female vampire, before she could even get to her knees I relived her body of her head.
From the prime example of Victoria, I knew I had to finish off the other if one mate was killed. If not she would have even gone to the ends of the earth to put me down. And I didn't want any problems at the moment. Especially with the volturi.
The remaining duo quickly looked at the remains of their former associates before they started to run towards opposite directions. But before they could move ten meters I launched mana infused wing spikes at them, riddling their heads with holes and they fell down like puppets whose strings were cut. But only after separating the heads of all vamps did i relax.
