I was unmoving by his persuasion because I was staring at space in front of me.

This phenomenon is caused by myself, but it was unknown to the butler because he doesn't have Advent Core himself.

Then Seeing these two Advent Core- memories sparkled within me.

In the training room.

"Butler, where are the things that I ordered?"

"Here Young Master."

I ask to the butler as he handled me two storage ring containing item I needed for my training and necessity for later part.

'Mana potion, health potion, preserved food, rations, training sword and many more swords'

The potions are above two hundreds with C rank are the highest quality and E rank the lowest.

For the sword there are forty-one of them which of ten are C rank, and the rest are D rank. The quantity of the on C rank are lower than I expected, but this should be enough.

This kingdom already on a tightrope because of the war if you can call it that. The potion and the weapon is already the best they can make, so it would be an excessive to expect high ranked item in this small kingdom.

And with this resource, I can at least ranked up to rank One warriors, with my mana point at 49 point right now I will need a week and half if I want to rank up with the minimal 100 mana point.

Now let me tell you how to rank up in this world, First you need to have 100 point of mana to rank up, can be more but not less as that will fuck you up sooner.

That 100 mana point will form a core to hold your mana and distribute it through your body to strengthen it, then in later part if you want to become warrior or aura user, you can convert that mana to aura and strengthen your body.

Second will be the usage of 'Technique'. This is the second most important thing in this world as with high ranked technique you will have natural advantages in term of mana core you condensed.

Also with high ranked technique you will be able to breakthrough normal 100 mana point to rank up, and what more than 100 mana point can give you?

More stable mana pathways, more durable bodies if you are a warrior but if you are mage then it will be more durable minds in the same rank, higher recovery abilities and intermediate mana controls.

And that was my plan, with the techniques I have I can easily breakthrough that 100 mana requirement and forced my body to hold as much mana I can, before rank up.

Combine it with high ranked Advent Core, then I will be invincible among the same rank.

Even if intermediate mana control sound lackluster it was actually a big help, because after you rank up your mana will be more than doubled and make its higher quality.

That makes it hard to control as your previous mana are on the lower amount and rank. With it, you need to train your mana control again, making you wasted more time.

And time is not something I would willingly to waste right now. With war already ongoing, the time for this kingdom to fall is closing up really fast.

Maybe I still have one year or two if they can hold on, but my life will be in constant danger if I cooped up for too long in this kingdom.

That why my plan is to training my self to the limit within three month time, rank up then run away from this kingdom with Kei.

Yes, Kei is the name of the cursed princess. Actually 'Kei' is a nickname, her true name is Keiran Minase Van Bahamut The Third, meaning that she was the third princess of bahamut kingdom.

Well, not that matter after the war, this kingdom will be history. At the same time 'we' already become close friend to give each other nicknames.

The creation card are really a cheat, helping me to not wasting more time trying to befriend her. Now I need to wash myself before meeting her later.

This was going to be the first time we officially meet, even if I have all my 'kid' self memories, this meeting will be our story together from now on...

"Alright, you can go and start preparing." I said to the butler as he avoided my eyes.

"Yes master." He said without further ado and within his step I could feel his fear and his hopelessness.

Because in this world people without Advent Core is worthless. They can only be cannon fodder or slave to those with Advent Core.

This butler too, already become slave to my power, if he want to life, he must heed my order, no matter how unwilling he is.

After that day, the day I awaken my Advent Core; The rain itself goes for three days and if someone get in touch with the rain, they will have to dealt with influence of my Advent Core.

Despair and Nightmares, unless they have something to fight the influence, like Advent Core or some treasure, they will be tortured by my Advent Core for seven days straight.

When they awake they will feel like carrying thousand boulder in their back; Tired of being alive, numb to emotions, and wanting rest or sleep all the time.

But when they sleep; Nightmare haunted them. So they need to choose, being awake and tortured by despair or sleeping while nightmares feast on their dream...

Some people are already died because of this, but my feeling are unperturbed. It feels like it had nothing to do with me (It has everything to do with me).

Now when I go out, people expression are depressed. Sunken eyes, dark expression, no energy; Just seeing them will infect you with dark emotions.

Still, even without my influence, they will die, by the beast they fought or by the kingdom they trust. Because, they all are weak...

The butler gently wake me up as if he afraid to bother my time. He was not afraid of dying, but if I decide to torture him; He should wish that he was never born.

It seems the reputation of the 'Cursed' princess have really big impact in this kingdom. Anyway I need to meet here now.

"Princess is on the courtyard right now, young master." Said the guard as he want to accompanied me to that places. But

"Alright, I know where is that. You can go and do your job." I dismissed him as I strode to the meeting places, while scanning the area.

'Three level one awakener, no advent core, forming mana core with using low level technique and then the rest are normal human just like my butler.'

They really lived their reputation of low level kingdom in this world.

It also makes me wonder how are 'Kei' even born in this kingdom, the file they give me is just a quick note of how is her life after she was born and if there was something hidden they won't include it in the file.

There must be something behind her existence that was hidden, but I should left that for later as I was already close to the courtyard.

"You are here... Will." As I slowly going closer, I heard her voice. She was reading a book in her hand, now that I was in her field of view, she close that book.

'A novel?'

"You really like reading huh?" I ask as I choose to sit in front of her.

"Hmm, you are the one who recommended to read something if I'm bored and why are you in front of me?" She was asking something that I don't expect with her flat voice and face, as if she was asking something normal. But...

'Why I'm sitting in front of her?'

That was the question, as for the answer is; I haven't fully accepted this reality. If I'm is still the same Will, I would naturally sit besides her but I am not really William.

That 'Will' is not here anymore and I...

"Is something happen?" Her face now was showing emotion that she always suppressed. As if she really afraid that I would go away from her.

As she going closer to me, the feeling of unrealness are gripping me so hard that it hard to believe that I, was not dreaming...

"Will?" She was worried and she was also real... But... am I real?

Then, her hand touched me, at my faces. She was slowly caressing my hair, the gentle touch makes some of my worries fade away.

"You not going to die right Will?"

"Don't worry. I'm not going to die." With 'Crown of Despair' the changes of me dying are minimal, but it's likely I would fade away from existence; can't be found, nor will they be able to sense my existence.

"Kei, can you see me?" A weird question for other people, but for me it was like asking if I'm real or not.
