Rose tattoo

She gracefully went inside the VIP corner.

"These motherfu*kers, they never learn how to respect women," she cursed under her breath before taking out a set of spare clothes from her drawer.

She pulled the mask off and stripped down in front of the mirror.

While changing, her eyes went near her stomach, where a big scar lie but it was tattooed like a red rose, hiding her past by inking it with color.

"That bastard deserved this for causing me this pain. I should have given him a more painful death. Tsk," she said caressing her tattoo.

"But it's beautiful though," a cold smirk formed on her face.

That fateful night still haunts her down like shadows.

"Had she been stronger, nothing like this would have happened. It's all because she was weak. Why the f*ck, she couldn't be stronger?" she screamed pushing a vase, that was placed beside the full-length mirror.

It shattered into millions of pieces, her reflection falling in each piece but she didn't bother looking at it for a second.

Her eyes filled up with hatred yet there was nothing more that, she could do.

"You already did the worst to him. He isn't even alive anymore. What's the point of getting angry over someone who doesn't no longer exist?" Her though glued together, creating her imaginary duplicate who was standing behind her, looking directly at the mirror.

"That's what I regret. Had I not been easy on him, had I given him a much more painful death, my regret would have died down. But apparently, I was way too weak at that moment," she said with self-mockery.

"You aren't. You weren't nor you are going to be weak. She wasn't weak either. Try to forgive her even though she did nothing wrong in the first place," her imaginary self tried to reason out.

"She did nothing you say? Huh, I didn't know that my imagination would be this ridiculous. Now leave before I change my mind and break this mirror as well," she said with clenched jaw and fist's tightened.

"Your anger is going to be the reason behind your fall out," is what she said before slowly fading away.

"Even if I have to turn into ashes and crumble into the ground, I won't let go of this life lesson. You got to be stronger and more powerful than you already are. That's the only way to survive this world while being on the top," she said with a broken smile.

Her words were harsh and sounded full of anger yet only she knew through how much pain she learned this lesson.

She pulled over her dress before pulling out another mask to cover her face.

A man with dark eyes and a body full of tattoos entered.

He gasped dramatically by looking at the ground.

"Oh dear, you need to learn how to control your anger. You killed a rich guy outside and now this vase. If this continues then we are going to bankrupt," he said with a soft voice.

"So I did wrong by killing a man who thought that it was ok to turn a blind eye and treat me, a woman as an object?" She said fixing her mask.

Her tone was normal yet coldness was there.

"Of course not. What he did is definitely against our policy. We know how you demanded no one to touch you and everyone must keep a distance from you. He must have read this before entering yet he dared to cross his lines. He deserved what he got but-"

That girl looked at him with cold eyes.

He felt like sweat started forming on his forehead.

He was way older than her yet her presence alone was enough to terrify him.

He sometimes even forgets that he's the boss, not the other way around.

"But you should have killed him in the dark. Maybe you could have lurked him into a dark room and then finish his existence. Killing him in front of everyone definitely wasn't a wise move," he signed helplessly.

"Had I done this, others would have thought that I am up for selling my body, which I am not. I don't want to deal with more people like him in the future who are going to try to buy me like I am some product. All over, it was to set an example. No one, I repeat no one, gets to disrespect me or any other women in my presence."

Her eyes were burning with anger and determination. Had it been under her hands, she would have killed every single man out there who abused women, one way or another.

"You have got something else to say?"

"No, I totally got your point of view. Be safe on your way back home and God forbid if someone dares to misbehave with you, give them a slow and miserable death, but in the dark. I can't deal with a lot of murders in a single day. I still got to take care of that nasty old pig's body," he said looking disgusted.

A chuckle left her lips. A genuine one.

She was thankful to God for sending her a boss like him.

Someone who respected her and would go as farther as possible, just to keep her safe.

"You too, Orme. If someone causes you trouble, just give me a call and I will take care of it," she said taking her phone out of another drawer.

"I am the older one here. I am the one who should take care of you, not the other way around. You haven't grown up enough yet to take care of this old man," Orme said flicking her on her forehead.

"You don't have to be older to take care of someone, you just need to be capable enough and I am sure that I am more capable than anyone else out there," she said hugging the man in his late 30s.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Don't forget to eat something after reaching home," he said breaking the hug.

"I won't. By the way, you aren't some old man," she winked at him before going out and putting on her glasses.

The little warmness that was coming out of her inside, was left entirely.
