18 Chapter 19

DORNE:

in "Dorne" the whole Martell family was out waiting for the Lord Arslan in front of the castle, its only appropriate for the prince of Dorne to welcome the Lord of the Vale, they are also excited to see his beasts, so they were looking at the sky and not the ground, but the girls were mainly excited to see him because they heard that he is very handsome and strong, and suddenly they could see the shadow of what they could only call a monster in the sky, slowly descending into view, only when he was visible could they see the thousands of other smaller monsters, then they looked down to see thousands of soldiers riding horses in an orderly and organized fashion, they had their mouths wide open, "how extravagant " was their only thought at the moment.

Arslan descended with his "Aeolus", and so did his army as the cavalry caught up, he then dismounted from his great mount and so did his "300 Eternal Protectors of The Falcon" dismounting from their shriekers/horses, they then organized behind him and he walked to the Martell family.

the family then woke up from their stupor.

Doran: Welcome, welcome Lord Arslan, It an honor having you here.

Doran said with a smile.

Arslan: the honor is mine Prince Doran of Dorne.

Doran: well let me introduce everyone.

he said, he then turned to brother.

Doran: This is my brother Oberyn Martell,

I nodded and Oberyn smiled, I think he plans something and I don't think I will like it.

pointed at his son.

Doran: my son Trystane Martell

I smiled at him.

he then pointed at his daughter.

Doran: This is my daughter Arianne Martell.

I turned to her and I froze, I couldn't speak, I couldn't think, I just froze, so beautiful, Arianne is buxom and beautiful, with olive skin, large dark eyes, and long, thick black hair that falls in ringlets to the middle of her back. and full lips, her beauty is indescribable, I just want to know who said Sansa was beautiful I want to have a good talk with them, because if she was, then what do I call this girl.

I didn't notice Doran looking at me with a smile on his face like I fell in his trap.

Doran: UHM.

he said, taking my attention again, then there was awkwardness.

Arslan: so, what kind of monsters are we dealing with?

I said trying to change the subject.

everyone broke into a silent chuckle, even Arianne.

I just smiled.

Doran: yes let's go inside to talk about this.

he said, still with a smile on his face, and I followed them inside followed by my "300 Eternal Protectors of The Falcon" who took different positions to secure the place.

I didn't notice that Arianne had a smile on her face looking at me walk away.

in the room, me, Doran, and Oberyn:

me: so? what are we dealing with??

Doran turned to Oberyn.

Oberyn: well it's a blue monster and has some spikes coming out of it, and it's double the size of a fully-grown horse, that is all we know of it.

me: how many??

Oberyn: we don't know, someone saw them In the desert about 70 miles west from here and ran immediately, the only thing he has on their number is as he said "as far as his eyes could see", and not waiting for them to destroy villages we sent for you.

Me: I see, I will go and check what is going on now.

just as I got up Oberyn said.

Oberyn: I heard you a great warrior, would you like to have a spar?

I looked at him and nodded.

me: yes, sure, we can do that.

AT THE TRAINING GOUND:

everyone was here, from Ellaria Sand to the Sand Snakes, and especially Arianne.

3RD PERSON POV:

as Arslan stood in front of Oberyn, he didn't notice that his full attention was on Arianne, Oberyn took his spear and said.

Oberyn: are we going to fight or stare??

Arslan then regained his focus and took out his sword.

Arslan: let's start.

Oberyn attacked with his spear, going for a direct stab, Arslan dodged to the left and stepped forward before putting his sword at Oberyn's throat, Oberyn let go of his sword and said raising his hands.

Oberyn: I give up

Arslan took back his sword and said.

Arslan: are we done here??, I have some monsters to slay.

Oberyn: that was not a fight, the was straight up beating.

???: I want to fight.

he looked at the direction of the voice to find it belongs to Obara Sand, one of the Sand Snakes.

Arslan: yes sure, let's fight.

she stood before him carrying her spear.

Arslan: let's fight.

she charged at him then jumped to attack him from above, smart, but slow.

he simply dodged again. then caught the spear and dragged it to him and she fell face first.

he then looked at Sand Snakes and said, maybe you can all fight me at one.

they looked at him like he is being over confidant but entered nonetheless.

they then surrounded and attacked him at once, he dodged all their attacks and counterattacked them, and in less than 10 seconds they all lost.

he then put his sword at his sheath and said.

Arslan: well if that is all, I will be going now.

Arianne: I want to fight too.

Arslan just looked at her for a second before he said with a smile.

Arslan: yes, sure, let's do that.

she stood before him and he just looked at her.

she suddenly attacked and he just dodged and kept looking at her, thinking about how heavenly she looks as she moves with the winds trying to hurt him and he just keeps dodging not attacking, not even taking his sword out, after minutes of this experience, he notices that she started getting annoyed, so he took out his dagger and with one last dodge, he stepped forward and put the dagger at her throat, and got his face closer to hers wanting to see her in more detail, he looked at her, lost in her eyes, and she looked at him, after about 30 seconds in that position, he slowly took his dagger back, before he quickly put it back in its sheath, he then turned around and walked away.

Arslan: well I will be going now.

his "300 Eternal Protectors of The Falcon" then followed him while the family kept looking at his leaving back, and Arianne looked with a smile.

after he got out of the castle he mounted Aeolus. and flew away.

and so did his men, in the Air and gound.

3 minutes later they reached the place that he was told and what he saw pleased him, it was a large number of The Apiarian Phantoms.

ARSLAN POV:

me: "this day just keeps getting better, with this I don't have to think about the ground force's slow movement, these guys are double the size of a horse, which makes them perfect for mounting, and they are the same speed as the shriekers(since when??, since I said so ), and their defense is not inferior either(again since I said so), I wonder if they have a king as well,".

I then descend about a 1 mile away with my men and waited for the ground force to catch up.

when they did, I ordered them to dismount and follow me, and they did.

when we reached the "TAPS"(The Apiarian Phantoms), they noticed us and started running at us, my men ready their weapons for the grand battle, I suddenly use my ability, and they stopped in their tracks.

I have so many questions.

I sent them a message.

me: [ do you guys have a king??]

I asked, not seeing any scary creature appearing.

they shook their heads saying no.

me: [an important question, can you still use your magic??]

they nodded.

nice, this will be helpful later.

me: [can you guys take me to the place where you spawn from?]

they nodded again.

me: [ok, you, take me there.]

I said pointing at one of the TAPS.

he nodded.

I then turned to my men.

me: these are your new mounts, count them, and get used to them.

I then followed the TAP.

he took me to an underground cave, and again, there was supposed to be no lights, but there is.

there was a box that looked the same as the one I have back in the Eyrie.

I touched the box, and I got some information again.

1- these boxes can only be broken using Palladium Steel, it's a metal that was created because of the doom of Valeria and can only be found there.

2- not all boxes give rewards, only very few.

3- these boxes could spawn anywhere, anytime, completely random, except in human settlements.

4- the only way to stop beasts from spawning without destroying the box is by wrapping it in something.

2- whoever manages to destroy this box will get nothing.

again?? that's what I got from every box I found since the Shrieker's.

I then picked up the box and wrapped it in a cloth and took it with me.

I went out and found that all my men are already ready, dams these men are fast.

the commander of the "the Falcon Reapers" then came to me and said.

the commander: Lord Arslan, there are 15000 TAPS.

wow, what a coincidence, to is it probably fate?? (neither, it's actually me).

Me: alright, when I leave for Valyria, I want you and your division to take the TAPS to the Eyrie where you will give the other divisions their mounts too, understood?

the commander: yes, my lord.

I then went straight to Aeolus and mounted him.

I flew up and so did my men, I looked down at the Ground force and said.

Arslan: NOW THAT YOU HAVE THESE TAPS AS YOUR MOUNTS, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE SWORDS FROM THAT HIGHT, SO FROM NOW ON I WANT YOU TO START USING SPEARS(so, again, they were trained in all weapons, he wants them to use spears like those in the photo of their armor), IM I UNDERSTOOD??

all of the gound force: YES, SIR.

he then turned around and flew towards Dorne with the ground force keeping up.

DORNE:

as Doran and Oberyn were talking about what happened between Arslan and Arianne, a soldier came to them.

Doran: what is it?

the soldier: Lord Arslan is back.

Doran: what?? he just left, it can't be that he failed, right?

the whole family then went out to see what happened.

when they did, they were shocked seeing that Arslan's men were riding the monsters they went out to slay.

Arslan then went to them, trying not to make eye contact with Arianne.

Doran: what happened.

he said with confusion.

Arslan: well, I went to slay them, but I thought that they would make very good mounts for my men, so I tamed them.

everyone looked at him with shock.

Doran: that simple? how do you do it anyway?

Arslan just smiled and said

Arslan: It's a secret.

Arslan: well, I have to go now.

they looked at him in confusion.

Oberyn: where are you going? you just got here.

Arslan: I'm actually going to Valyria, there is something I have to get from there.

Doran: WHAT!!?, but no one was able to go there ever since the 'Doom of Valyria'.

no one noticed that Arianne had a sad expression for some reason.

Arslan: I know what I'm doing don't worry about it.

he then looked at Arienne.

Arslan: and when I return, and I will return, I will ask for something from you.

he said as he looked at Doran again.

before anyone could say anything, he said.

Arslan: well, see you when I get back.

he then turned around, mounted Aeolus, gave Arianne one last look, and said.

Arslan: "PROTECTORS OF THE FALCON" FOLLOW ME.

as he flew up still looking at Arienne, who just looked back at him.

he turned around and flew away followed by 150 shrieker riders and 150 TAP riders.

while the rest of his men turned and went back to the Eyrie.

well, it seems Arslan fell in love.

for those who think "why not just take her, I don't think she or her family will object", well he still doesn't know that to do with his "love".
