28 The Last Performance

After returning to Golden Star Pavilion, Tang Feng went to his room to absorb the spirit bone. It was left arm spirit bone.

After absorbing it, Tang Feng came to his teachers to report his gain. From the Mirror Spirit beast's spirit ring, he gained a new arrow form known as Mirror shot.

The ability of this arrow was to copy the skills of any target it hits. But there were three limitations of this skill. The copy could only be maintained for three minutes. Also, Tang Feng needed to use double spirit power to use the skill. Lastly, the skill would only allow the user to showcase 80% of the target's strength if the target is of the same level. While the strength would reduce to 70% if the target's cultivation is higher than the user!

Still, with all the limitations, it was still a very powerful ability. Specially, it could act as a life saver in tricky situations. Tang Feng was quite satisfied with this spirit ability.

As for the spirit bone, it had two forms, one passive and one active. At passive form, a short blade is formed from the bone, which works perfectly with the martial arts taught by Qing Yun. At it's active form, it helps the user to enter stealth increasing his agility till the user tries to attack.

Also, if the spirit bone is charged with spirit power, it can compress and release a sharp spirit blade, which can be quite fatal for surprise attacks!

Qing Yun was most happy about the spirit blade! With it, his martial arts training can finally reach it's complete potential!

Qing Yun gifted Tang Feng a jade flute which itself was an essence tool that could calm the soul and help in passive cultivation while playing the music. Qing Yun never really declared, but he already cared for Tang Feng as a teacher would care for his disciple!

Tang Feng was also touched by Qing Yun's gesture and bowed to thank him. Tang Feng had to leave soon as the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament already started!

But before leaving, he decided to play for one last time at Golden Star Pavilion. The evening was special as well, as the crown prince Xue Qinghe along with his sister Xue Ke were going to visit the Pavilion! They were at Vast Sea City for some official work and reserved a table for the evening performance of Master of music, Qing Yun.

At evening, the grand auditorium was filled with people. The hall was decorated with beautiful yellow flowered curtains which made the atmosphere quite pleasing.

Crown prince and his sister were sitting at the front row waiting for the concert of Master Qing Yun. But, an announcement caught the audience by surprise.

Master Qing Yun was not going to perform this evening. Rather, his disciple would be performing in his place. As the whole hall clamored, a good looking young man stood on the stage. His long black hair was tied back in a neat tail with blue cloth. His light blue suit portrayed his elegancy. He exuded an aura of extraordinary charisma, giving off a fresh and cool feeling.

This man was Tang Feng. Watching him on stage, the entire room calmed down. He gently picked up his jade flute and started playing a musical piece. There was no other sound heard in the room. Everyone was mesmerized with the song.

Only when the music ended and Tang Feng bowed to the audience did the audience realized that they were supposed to clap! And the clapping never seemed to end. Finally, after a while everything subsided.

Tang Feng and Qing Yun went to the dining to have dinner. There, they met the crown prince accompanied by his sister.

"My sister is really a great fan of music and she really loved your song. So, we thought of meeting Master Qing Yun's disciple in person before leaving Vast Sea City. As the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament has begun, we need to get back as early as possible. We hope to listen to your music when we visit Golden Star Pavilion again!" Xue Qinghe smiled as he met Tang Feng.

"Actually, Crown Prince might not be able to listen to my music again at Golden Star Pavilion. I too need to go back to Heaven Dou City to participate in the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament. I am actually a student of Heaven Dou Imperial Academy who is also a member of Emperor team. As my team is seeded in the tournament, I have delayed my return to the academy. But I am leaving tomorrow as well!" Tang Feng replied.

"Why is a student of Heaven Dou Imperial Academy studying music from Master Qing Yan at this moment? Shouldn't you be preparing for the tournament?" Xue Ke interrupted Tang Feng and her brother in astonishment!

"Princess, I was here for training hand to hand combat under my master. Learning music is a hobby I picked up when I was here!" Tang Feng replied politely.

"Yes, although Master Qing Yan is an auxiliary spirit master, he is an expert in hand to hand combat. He used to be in military before he became a performing bard at Golden Star Pavilion!" Xue Qinghe seemed to remember the information about Qing Yan.
