Henry asked, "How did you figure it out?"

Why is Boss asking me as if I cracked some super tough secret code?

"Well, the other houses didn't have water issues otherwise they would have come out, complaining. So, it wasn't a pipeline problem. That meant the problem was specific to your bathroom so normally, there's something wrong with the faucet…"

Henry nodded. "You are smart."

"..."

Angel sheepishly smiled. "So, I can keep my job, right?"

"A deal is a deal."

Phew!

Henry hung up the phone and glanced at her. "You saved my life today."

"L-life is going too far, Boss…"

But Henry had already taken a certain booklet from his pocket. He wrote something on it and tore one page.

Then he offered it to her. "Your reward."

Merry peeked in and her eyes popped out of her sockets to see him holding a cheque.

And It wasn't just a cheque. It was a blank cheque.
