"You seem to have gathered yourself quite well despite the whole falling from the sky thing," Delia remarked as she set down a sandwich in front of Juda. "I'm actually quite impressed."

About an hour had passed since the young man had ran out of the house and, within that time, he had managed to recollect himself appropriately. After donning some clothes that belonged to Delia's son, a young black haired teenager named Ash, Juda began to feel far more comfortable then he had when he first awoke. His emotions were still in disarray but they were kept in check and his previously low mental capacity was once again running on full blast, brought back to full strength the moment Juda accepted his current predicament.

As it stood right now, the white haired adolescent was contemplating many things, which included who, what, when, where and why.

What had happened to him? Who had brought him here? WHY had they brought him here? WHERE had they brought him? When had they even managed to move him so far from home in such a short period of time?

There so many questions Juda was unable to answer, the lack of information present hindering him from making any logical guesses. While he was aware that he was in a place called Pallet Town, which according to Delia was positioned within the region of Kanto, he had no idea where that was located on the regular world map. Additionally, when he had asked the motherly woman for a map so he could possibly locate his precise whereabouts, she had brought forth a map that was difficult for him to even read. Unable to pinpoint a singular familiar location within the confines of the map, Juda eventually gave up and began to ponder the idea of drugging with hallucinatory drugs, causing him to go insane and dream up this whole ordeal. Only problem with that was everything felt so real and nothing ever felt so out of place that he would even begin to suspect some sort of drug induced scenario.

There was also the possibility that this family he found himself in was crazy or downright lying to his face, but Juda had no evidence to back up the theory as of yet. The only thing he was certain of was that he was neither dreaming regularly nor dead.

"Keeping calm is one of my stronger points," Juda said in response to Delia's remark as he picked up the sandwich. "I'll get to the bottom of what happened and return home.....eventually. For now, I'll just see it as one big adventure. Nothing I really can do about this whole thing and panicking won't do squat for me or anyone else."

Even after saying that though, Juda had no idea on where to start as the only clues he had were the smoking crater Delia had mentioned, Delia and Ash's testimonies, and the giant bowling ball sized egg that had apparently fallen with him. Nothing, not even the giant thing the Ketchum family had called a "Pokemon egg", gave him any sort of indication that would point him in the correct path. Though Juda still had yet to explore the crater unto which he had inadvertently created, he highly doubted that it would contain any sort of clue that pointed the way back home. The idea of a note written on the curved sides of the crater telling him everything he needed to know was almost enough to make him laugh as he finished up the sandwich Delia had made for him.

"Maybe it was the work of a Pokemon," Ash, the young man whose clothes Juda was currently borrowing, spoke up as he walked into the dining room. "You falling from the sky and surviving without a scratch isnt possible without it being the work of a Pokemon."

"...."

Delia seemed to notice Juda's facial expression, one that questioned the sanity of Ash and if he was on crack or not, and was the first to speak up. "Juda....do you.....not know what a Pokemon is?"

"The heck's a Pokemon," Juda responded, now questioning Delia's mental health as well. In all of his 14 years on Earth, he had never before heard the term Pokemon before but, from the way it sounded, it was apparently common knowledge and it was HIM that was the strange one. "Y'all are gonna have to be more specific. Is that slang for something else?"

Delia and Ash both looked at each other, their eyes meeting, an unknown look locked in their hues that Juda was unable to identify. It seemed like they had figured out something that the red eyed boy himself was failing to understand, some form of knowledge that had just appeared before them.

"Juda.....you said you haven't lost a single piece of your memory before you crashed from the sky right?" Delia asked, slowly enunciating each word like she was speaking to a child.

"Yeah."

"And you couldn't see any familiar landmarks on the map that mom gave you earlier right?" Ash added on as he walked over to the table. He had initially looked rather goofy and slightly childish, but it seemed he had come across the same revelation that his mother had. "You also have no idea what a Pokemon is despite being near my own age."

"I dont get what you guys are going for," Juda retaliated as he sat back in his seat. "Cant you just tell me what you just thought of?"

"Juda, are you sure you're from around here? Its possible you could be from an island without Pokemon, or even another world." Delia said after a brief moment of silence. "From what you described, you have no memory of Pokemon despite possessing all of your memories. You cant pinpoint anything even on the world map and what was supposed to be white in your eyes is black instead. It all just seems to point directly to you not being of this world or at the very least your memories have been altered. Impossible as it seems, this is probably the result of some kind of Pokemon."

"Thats.....actually pretty logical when it comes down it," Juda admitted as he thought it over briefly. The facts lined up pretty well, and should he deign to explore more of his surroundings, he had no doubt that he'd find himself in a place that made little to no sense to him. "Although I'll have to go to the great outdoors to actually confirm this theory of yours. Also, the sclera in my eyes have always been black. I'm actually surprised that you guys can talk to me without feeling any discomfort or fear."

Juda wholeheartedly accepted this speculation right off the bat for numerous reasons, his own sanity being one of them. Not only did it genuinely make the most sense in terms of what little knowledge he was given, it also helped him regain a bit of control over his own inner emotions which were still rioting within the pit of his stomach. While most others would have seen this as impossible and not even an option, Juda found it every bit believable despite the lack of irrefutable evidence surrounding it.

"So then. Working off of this newly made hypothesis that I am indeed from another world, tell me more about these things called 'Pokemon'." Juda had never been one to remain ignorant and would always push for the knowledge that would help him succeed at his goal, which was merely surviving at this point. "Let's start off with what exactly IS a Pokemon."

"Itd be better to SHOW you rather then tell you," Delia answered honestly as she pulled up her jeans which had been falling down slightly. "We should head over to the Professor's lab and have him explain to you the information you need."

Juda tapped the side of the egg he had been keeping beside him, the blue and black egg sitting comfortably on a set of blankets that Ash had brought over from his room. According the the mother as well as the son, the egg harbored a Pokemon inside it, a mysterious creature that the white haired youth had never even seen before. Normally everything would seem so farfetched and fantasy-like, and yet Juda didn't particularly feel that it was all that strange as he placed a hand on the smooth surface of the black and blue shell. It radiated warmth which in turn seemed to spread through his whole body, calming his raging inner thoughts and making him feel at peace with everything going on around him. It was such an odd feeling but it wasnt one that he found to be unsatisfactory, instead reveling in it an allowing it to consume him entirely.

"Okay, let me go and get dressed real quick and then we can head on out," Delia said, flashing Juda a warm smile as she walked towards the stairs. "I gotta get out of these house clothes. Luckily today's my day off."

As she walked up the staircase, Juda stood up from his seat, picking up the egg and holding carefully to his chest as he made his way towards the front door, completely ignoring Ash. He wasn't trying to rude but he really wanted to get some alone time if even just for a few minutes or such and had no interest in striking up a conversation at that point in time. Hell, if he could, he'd rather travel to the Professor's lab alone, however that wouldn't be the wisest option at the present.

If he really was in another world altogether then he would need all the help he can get.

Everything he ever knew was or thought he knew no longer applied and he needed a few seconds to wrap his head around that fact. His whole entire world had been flipped on its head and, while he totally agreed with the theory provided by Delia, he still had trouble processing everything that was getting tossed at him.

"What happens now?" Juda muttered as he kicked the door shut behind him, facing the wide open fields of lush green grass. "How do I get home if I'm in another world?"
