39 Chapter 35: Victoria's Missing Princess

Ash just sat down for a good minute because he already knew that he was going to have a migraine. He stared at Alexandrina and one of her friends hissed at him.

"Vina! We don't need him to protect you!" A tigress shouted. (pic)

"Silence, mongrel. You have no right to be rude here, that's my master you are speaking of." Margaret looked at her coldly and pointed her sword spear right onto her throat.

Degenbrecher, Lappland, Alastor, and Astaroth were also pointing their swords to their other friends right at their necks and Platinum was pointing her bow at the princess.

Specter was already revving her giant pizza cutter and was twitching madly. Her urge to kill rising immensely.

They all broke into a cold sweat and even the pretty cool looking princess got really anxious. "Hmm, who's that girl on your side?" Ash looked at the white haired tiger.

"Forgive her for her insolence your majesty. She's Hannah Jackson, we're a group called Glasgow. I managed to escape the castle and joined their gang." She bowed deeply.

"I see, Hannah is your name?" Ash clasped his hands and looked at Alexandrina. "Princess, did you not educate your subordinate properly?"

Vina winced and she gave Hannah a meaningful look. The tigress was shocked and Ash raised his hand.

Everybody lowered their weapons and the members of Glasgow took a really deep breath.

"Talk for a moment, I will meet you again in 15 minutes. I hope that you can settle everything then?" He raised a brow and Vina bowed deeply again, frustrating her gang.

"Yes your majesty, I will never forget this mercy." She lowered her head until they went away and she sighed deeply.

"V-Vina... I'm sorry, I... I just couldn't see you being submissive like that." Hannah tried to apologize and Vina sighed again.

"Hannah, the person we were talking with earlier is the emperor of Leithanien practically overnight... That man is so damned dangerous, you can't even imagine it." Vina glared at her a bit, but let it go eventually due to him being calm and generous.

"Vina..." Hannah gritted her teeth. She admired the brunette a bit too much and couldn't accept her being under anyone.

"You better not talk again later Hannah, or everyone's head here will roll. You can feel it right, any single one of the people around him can annihilate us in seconds." Vina wiped some sweat from her brow.

Especially the nun who glared at them like they were dead meat. Just remembering her intense bloodthirst makes her knees weak.

'That person is definitely insane, there was that silver haired Lupo too. But we have nowhere else to go... Londinium is under attack by Kazdel's regent.' Vina gritted her teeth and thought about the traitorous duke that had a great idea of inviting Theresis into Londinium.

And with no emperor on the throne, Victoria's capital quickly fell to the Sarkaz' might. The steam knights that are supposed to protect it, gone. Corruption and greed of nobles claiming the once great special knights of Victoria.

Vina bit on her nails and wished that they would at least not beat them black and blue before kicking them out. She's basically a commoner at this point, nothing to her name but her gang.

At another room, Ash sighed and was having a meeting with his own group.

"So? We're going to accept this pretty much anyways. Any objections?" Ash looked around.

He still has no contact with Talulah who is an Artorius, the Draco royalty of Victoria that can sit on the throne. And the Aslan bloodline just dropped into his lap like a good little cat.

It was too good to pass up. And he can't confront Talulah on why she split with Patriot, Alina, and Yelena. Her being missing doing god knows what and all.

"Yes, what happened earlier is basically just a show anyways. If we were really offended, they would've died on the spot." Margaret shrugged.

"That's true, her subordinate just committed lese majeste and Alexandrina has to take responsibility via respondeat superior." Degenbrecher shrugged.

"Ehhh, why are you guys using such difficult terms? So do we kill them or not? They don't look really strong anyways. How can those guys be useful when you can just claim the throne for yourself?" Lappland brandished her sword.

"Too troublesome, there's tons of nobles in Victoria. They're a dime a dozen really. Victoria is huge after all." Ash was getting a headache just thinking about it.

The capital has nobles galore already. And that doesn't even include the rural ones that would most likely have their own schemes and plans from far away.

"Londinium has been sieged as well, it seems that their capital fell. I've already heard it from one of them." Platinum's ears twitched as she was listening in on them talk.

"I see, so Theresis is in Victoria? Margaret you know the drill." Ash smirked and NTR knight immediately went into action of course.

They would rob Kazdel blind and take all the citizens they could, especially with the new mobile city docked to them. It would be like taking candy from a baby.

"Are we going to war, Ash?" Narcissa looked up at him and wanted to turn things into paste.

"Hmm, you'll be the guard here in Paradiso. Can I leave that to you?" He chuckled and Narcissa nodded.

"Sonus, Mudrock, prepare the army. We will be going on an expedition." Ash ordered them and they will be the main commanders this time due to Kazdel being their home country.

"How about the crown princess of Victoria?" Zofia was reminded him that Glasgow is still situated in Paradiso.

"Then we take them with us, it's only natural for those who request sanctuary to see how much we can protect the people." He smiled and Zofia understood.

"Ummm, Ash. Can I also go to battle with sister Margaret? I really want to try out my armor that I upgraded here. I turned it into an arts unit!" Maria was giddy.

"Sure, ask for your aunt and Margaret's permission though." He nodded at her.

Everyone went to the barracks and an alarm was sounded. It was time for the very first expedition of Paradiso.

__

"What's that noise?" Vina's ears twitched and was instantly alarmed by the sirens. It sounded like warnings for an attack or something.

"Come on Glasgow, you will witness the military might of Paradiso. Ash is leading this battle himself. It would be good to see how he will protect you right?" Enciades informed them with a smirk.

Glasgow's members got confused for a second. And they remembered that they're nearby Kazdel.

"They're going to attack Kazdel!?" Hannah stood up with her fur standing on end.

Kazdel might be fractured and embroiled in civil war. But the Sarkaz aren't one to be trifled with. Even the most common subrace of them, the goliaths are above other races.

And they are all capable of arts. The basic soldiers carry great swords, archers use crossbows that are the size of ballistas.

"You will see, girl. Ash will be revealing himself to the world now. It might be a bit too fast because you people suddenly arrived here, but I agree with his decision. Be grateful." Enciades smirked at them.

They were then given some protective gear and riot shields so they won't get fucked up by shrapnel and stray arts.

No matter how much fighting experience they have in Londinium, they're just petty gangsters that never fought in an all out battle where people get mowed down by the dozens a minute.

The Glasgow members went outside once they wore their gear and heard marching outside.

After they left Ash's estate, they were shocked at seeing hundreds of Goliath Sarkaz that were marching in ranks.

Banshees from Sonus' clan were leading squads as the main support and anti arts specialists.

Gargoyles who are Mudrock's kin wore heavy armor that made them look like tanks. Goliaths made of stone that were mixed with steel plates studded their forms.

A special vampire Sarkaz squad were with Alastor and Astaroth. A commando unit that enters the fray when blood starts to spill. And then they will be the greatest support of the battlefield.

Veiled Nachzerer Sarkaz that smells of rot are stationed at the rear to annihilate every corpse that are of no use. Specializing in consuming enemies to gain enemy Intel.

Cyclops Sarkaz with their towering builds that was even bigger than Buldrokkas'tee. Decked in full plate armor made of titanium, covered with a film of graphene that would turn arrows and arts barely a problem, armed with warhammers and axes the size of humans.

Alexandrina then gasped when she saw there were two divisions for the platoons. At the other side, Margaret, Zofia, Viviana, and Maria were leading their own army.

Pegasi that were in silver armor, the special forces of Kazimierz. The silverlance pegasi that are famed to be able to bring down thousands of Ursus soldiers with just a couple of dozen warriors. (pic)

They marched down the streets of Paradiso, their steps as confident as can be. Metal resounding through the quiet area. Glasgow cannot even hear a single whisper from the soldiers.

"Are... Are they really going for an all out war? They even have the silverlance pegasi with them..." Vina could see a variety of Sarkaz.

And she knew what that means, their army is so diverse. The majority of them are more valuable than dozens of soldiers in Victoria.

The cyclops and gargoyles led the armies and were like impenetrable walls. Their commanders marching with them and the soldiers can see their topless emperor that was holding a single sword.

Vina could not understand why, but she could see that the myriad of warriors behind him were all excited to be led by him.

"My soldiers, Kazdel is without its traitorous owner. He goes to Londinium and neglects the people." They heard Ash's low voice perfectly.

Hatches opened up and the desert of the no man's land were visible in front of them as flood lights that illuminated the path forward shone.

"Who are we?" He asked them and they stomped on the ground with fervor. "Deliverance!"

"What do we do?" He started to walk. "We save Terra's people one by one!"

"Then we will do just that." The army slammed their weapons on the ground. Attack helicopters flew to the skies and the banshees started to sing a song.

Their arts made them light on their feet. The cyclops and goliaths made of solid rock in front started to jog and the land was shaking because of their weight.

"Onwards to Kazdel!" Margaret shouted and Paradiso's army started to encroach the fractured lands of the Sarkaz.

__

"Sir, we have detected a large amount of soldiers from the west." Someone who looks eerily similar to Shining talked to a man who was drinking crimson liquid in a goblet.

The sanguinarch, the vampire king of Kazdel who was supposed to go to Victoria in a couple of days. He squinted his eyes and was not worried.

Just like Sonus, he is a man who has lived long and is of course arrogant.

"Then take care of them properly." He scoffed and thought they would feel the Sarkaz' wrath. Theresis has gathered them all over Kazdel after all.

"Yes." The confessarius nodded and bowed, thinking that it would be a pretty sight to see. Withholding information about the army that was on their way.

"Kazdel's citizens! If you desire to live a new life without war! Then surrender and come to Paradiso. That is your only warning, we will attack in an hour." The ruined city heard a loud and majestic voice.

"This guy is a loon innit? How the bloody hell would they come to them when they look so menacing?" Hannah whispered to Alexandrina and the princess had to agree with that.

"That's true mate, but let's watch and see." Vina concluded that they must know about that, but he still did so.

And not long after, women and children were starting to flock towards them. Surprising the Glasgow members.

They were quickly taken in by the silverlance pegasi. Handled at the back by medics, cooks, and other miscellaneous staff.

"Are they stupid, those could be plants." Even Vina thought it was a risky move.

But the army cooks and medics are actually one of the most souped up divisions in the army. Ash's ghosts were around them and Platinum's sniper squad are always keeping an eye on them.

They kept on amassing civilians and had a large haul. Transports were leaving to and fro with a shipment of people back to Paradiso in order for evaluation.

"Enemy attack at 10 o'clock!" They heard the warnings and mercenaries were heading towards them.

"Master~ Please, you promised me that you'll use me." Specter clasped her hands and begged Ash.

"Sorry, there were no opportunities to use you Specter. Go and bring them to salvation, I already gave them a chance to surrender." He squinted his eyes and her blank eyes lightened up immediately.

"Hehehehe~ Kyahahaha! Good... Good! I shall be back shortly." She stood up and took hold of her weapon.

"Sinners, it is time for me to give you salvation in my master's name!" Specter crouched down on the ground.

"What the bloody hell is wrong with that nun?" Hannah winced as they saw Specter laugh like a maniac.

Said nun's quads and hamstrings then flexed with immense strength.

And like a chained beast with its shackles taken off, she lunged with great force. Cracking the concrete under her, resulting in spiderweb cracks.

She launched herself like a bullet. "Come and be saved from your pitiful lives and repent in your next life!"
