Daemon is a figure whose origin is mostly shrouded in mystery but is undoubtfully linked to Babel as one of its former senior operators and leaders alongside people like Theresa, Dokutah, and Kal'tsit. He is commonly linked to Elysium as its leader, having people of various races beneath his command, he sends them to fulfill various missions with goals and purposes known only to him and the people he confides in.

Imaging tests reveal clear, normal outlines of his internal organs with no abnormal dark spots or shadows. No unusual traces of Originium particles in the circulatory system and no signs of infection confirm this operator as uninfected.

Mostima offers us this assessment: He rarely goes out of his room for long periods of time, let alone the airship he "pilots" which forces me and poor Reed to have to go to him ourselves. We usually see him staring out a window or mumbling incoherent words while calling out names like Alina or Ishar-mla in his sleep, we've tried asking him who they are but he always adamantly refuses to discuss any details about it. We tried randomly asking Skadi about the names but she acted... negatively enough to the point that we'd decided to never mention it in front of her. All of us have our own secrets which is why I've chosen to let them rest until he is able to freely confide in me.

I still hear her voice in my dreams to this day, and the smile that seemed both genuine and empty remains ever present in both memory and dream. I had thought myself rid of her the day my blade killed and burned her but it's as if she's become a part of me now.

All past records of Daemon are kept hidden away from most of the people on Rhodes Island, what is currently known of him is a few of his past jobs, how he met Kal'tsit and followed her in her travels before ultimately joining Babel. He left Rhodes Island after the Dokutah was heavily wounded and was transported to Chernobog to heal her wounds, he refuses to say what happened in those three years of his absence but he came back with Elysium, a militant organization, at his beck and call at Chernobog.

His weapon is unique in more ways than one, a sword that acts as a key to his airship and is capable of morphing into entirely different weapons shows just how unique it is. Tests have been made to see whether or not the sword can be used to crush and absorb the [Redacted] inside of an infected's body itself but it seems like every trial fails.

My choice to not save the victims of Oripathy might seem selfish, and maybe it truly is, but saving one means that I'll have to save everybody and I don't think my body in its current state is able to. I might be able to do it in the future but I will continue to act as if I am unable to do it until it isn't so, or when the situation calls for it.

[Redacted] offers us this assessment: The Daemon I had spent more than ten years with is very different from the Daemon of today, there is something wrong with the smile he sports as well as his cheery disposition to the point that it seems to be forced in most cases. He has seen or gone through something, what it was or when it occurred is something I have no clue about but it is more than enough to cause this massive change in him.
