" Why hasn't the Ursus military staged a counterattack yet?" Amiya asked curiously while they were walking out in the open in a formation.

"From my experience, when a riot breaks out, the military usually manages to quash it immediately. But we did just witness the Ursus guards getting overpowered..." Dobermann replied to her question.

" That masked Reunion leader might have been a cut above the rest... but there's no way she could single-handedly destroy the entire city. Unless..." Dobermann muttered before realizing something.

" I've seen many people who acted in the same way as that Reunion leader.

To them, soldiers are nothing more than pawns to be tossed away as soon as they've served their purpose. Soldiers could be used efficiently when needed, and then left to their own devices when not needed. Because the cost of training and maintenance is too high." Dobermann told Amiya. Gojo shook his head and sighed.

" They're pawns aren't they? " Gojo asked Dobermann.

" Dr Satoru. They are not like us. Even if I don't fully trust you, I at least trust your abilities." Dobermann told him. Gojo grumbled.

" But I trust you. " Gojo argued with her. Dobermann crossed her arms.

" But I don't. Trust is earned, Dr Satoru. " Dobermann countered. Gojo grumbled even more.

" You got me. But can you answer my question? " Gojo asked again.

" That kind of leader is no commander.

Those who would trample enemies and comrades alive... or rather, "minions." Perhaps not even minions. To Reunion, those thugs may have been nothing more than pawns. This is not a leader, but a tyrant." Dobermann answered while clenching her fist. Gojo nodded in understanding.

" No matter who our enemies are, we will complete our mission.

Someone once taught me and my teammates––'If facing a pawn, capture it; If facing a fortress, topple it; If facing the Crown, overthrow it.' " Ace added while smiling at Gojo. Gojo smiled back and nodded.

"Ace, wait a minute." Dobermann told him and he stopped immediately. He looked in front of him and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Dr.Satoru, enemy light-armored troops are stationed in front of us." Ace reported to Gojo. Gojo nodded.

" We won't be able to avoid them. If we take a detour, we'll lose time we don't have. The Catastrophe or whatever is looming over our heads." Gojo narrowed his bright blue eyes and looked at the Reunion troops. Since his Byakugan is Lvl 5 and his normal eyesight is improved, he can look at the troops that are far away clearly.

"They have shields. Lava,Meteorite. On me." Gojo ordered. The four operators nodded.

He then looked at Flamebringer. "We need you as well Flamebringer. " Gojo told him. The oni nodded and unsheathed his giant katana.

Gojo then rushed forward.He was being followed by Flamebringer who was beside him.

"You have to run faster, Doctor. I'm already beside you." Flamebringer mocked while they were getting closer to the horde of Reunion Members.

Gojo grinned and put more of his Chakra in his feet. He started to run faster and overtook Flamebringer.

"Damn. This man definitely gets bitches." Flamebringer whistled and ran faster as well. When they got closer, the Reunion Members noticed them and quickly raised their shields and machetes.

"Do your thang, 21." Gojo told Flamebringer while imitating a certain rapper's voice. Flamebringer shook his head and fire appeared on his sword.

He stopped and swung it repeatedly. Fire blades shot out of his katana and crashed into the Reunion Member's shields.

*BAM!!*

There was a loud crash as the flame blades cut through the shields and sliced the Reunion Members in half. Gojo grinned and shoulder tackled a shield holding Reunion Member.

*Bang!*

The Reunion Member crashed onto the ground and Gojo raised his pistol and shot him in the head.

*Bang!*

The Reunion Member had a hole through his mask now. Gojo looked around him and saw three Reunion Members raising their machetes and swung down at him.

Gojo didn't move. The machetes suddenly stopped mid swing. Gojo raised his pistol.

*Bang! Bang! Bang!*

The three Reunion Members were shot in the gut and fell down slowly. Gojo looked at the remaining shield wielding troops.

"Lava! Meteorite! Your turn!!" Gojo ordered. Gojo heard a grenade being fired.

*Thunk!*

*BAAAAANGG!!!! BOOOOOMMMM!!!*

Multiple explosions occurred within the battlefield and Gojo was right in the middle of it. Amiya panicked in her heart again.

Gojo walked out of the smoke unharmed.

[Limitless Lvl 5]

"Naisu." Gojo complimented. Lava and Meteorite smirked.

"You're still following my orders though, Meteorite." Gojo smiled at her. Meteorite pouted and turned away.

Gojo arrived beside Dobermann. "Dobermann" Gojo nodded at the instructor.

"Based on our planned route, we should be approaching the central town of South Chernobog. We'll arrive at the rendezvous point after crossing this park. Assuming no contingencies, Nearl and Team E4 should be waiting for us there. " Dobermann reported. Gono nodded. Guard raised his hand.

Gojo nodded at him letting him speak.

"If Nearl was attacked... What would we do then? What if they wanted to alert us, but couldn't due to communications being jammed...How should we deal with that?" Guard asked. Dobermann kept quiet.

" We will go assess the situation." Amiya replied to his question without hesitation.

" ...Oh..." Guard was clearly at a loss for words. Gojo snickered.

"Don't start speculating before seeing things with your own eyes. There's no point of letting paranoia get the better of you. " Ace advised.

" I, I see..." Guard muttered while listening to Ace.

" Losing our communications has caused anxiety to spread through the ranks much faster than I imagined... Especially with this looming Catastrophe. We have to pick up our pace. " Dobermann declared to everyone.

Suddenly a mist covered the area. Gojo immediately activated his Byakugan. He cursed.

" Ugh... What's with this haze...?

Could it be––Watch out!!" Amiya shouted as a Reunion Member charged towards Guard and was about to slice him up with his machete. Gojo saw that coming a mile away and shot the Reunion Member in the head.

"Kill them.....

*Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!*
