When I woke up with a hangover from drinking with Blaze, the last thing I expected was a non-mandatory quest from the system, not even a second after I opened my eyes. Surprisingly, no death threats.

[Rimuru: Aren't all of us above 20 years old? How will we fit in with school?]

[Clu: It isn't mandatory so I might pass up on it]

[Zhongli: Perhaps we may take the position of educator rather than pupil? I think we should all take this opportunity. The goods for sale in the shop may help us in our future endeavours]

[Jinwoo: I will go. There is something in the shop that I need. This is also likely a non-combat-oriented quest, so it may not be difficult]

[Clu: I doubt it would give us points so easily, but Zhongli does raise a fair point. Put in the work now and reap the rewards later. I change my mind, I would be down to go if everyone else is]

[Rimuru: I will join in as well I guess. Luckily, time stops, so I don't need to be anxious over the time. A year is quite a while, though]

[Zhongli: I'm highly intrigued by how the system works. Will the identity created for us be integrated, or will it be a form of fraud?]

[Clu: Whatever it is, I just want to get it over with. Click on the teleport icon on the app. There should be a new location available, I'll go ahead now]

With the last text sent, I joined the next game of this system. I will use what it gives me to grow with the others, and then, when my memories return, perhaps I may find out what the system is and destroy it.

I quickly jumped out of bed, prepared my equipment, brushed my teeth and grabbed a piece of plain untoasted bread for breakfast. With my morning routine done, it was time to go.

Once the blinding light faded, I snapped back to reality and looked around what seemed to be a living room. Moments later, several more white flashes appeared as the rest of the gang teleported.

"This looks like Japanese architecture," Rimuru noted as he looked out the window of the room, revealing the streets of a suburb at night.

"It seems we truly are in Japan, Rimuru. Look at these," I noted as I handed over several folders, marked with each of our names. They contained citizenship, passports, and other IDs.

"There is even a note that detailed important information on our background," I added as I showed off a small untitled notebook.

"Is this the ability to manipulate reality? This system is far stronger than I thought," Zhongli muttered as he read through his background in this world.

"Me, Jinwoo and Rimuru have student IDs. Zhongli, you're the only one with the teacher ID here," I said as I noticed the plastic card in Zhongli's hand.

"Kunugigaoka Junior High School, assistant homeroom teacher and social studies teacher of class 3-E," Zhongli read out the details on the teacher ID.

"We're all students in class 3-E as well. Rather, we are transfer students," Rimuru observed.

"Well, we just need to peacefully pass the year without causing a ruckus. This should be a walk in the park. Surely, there's something we don't know, right?" I asked as I put the documents on a nearby coffee table.

"Don't jinx it," Rimuru joked as he consumed his documents. I should probably give it to Rimuru or Zhongli for safe storage.

"Conveniently, our phones have adjusted the time as well. However, I don't know any Japanese, which might be a problem…" I said as I checked my phone.

"Aren't you speaking Japanese right now?" Rimuru asked with a frown.

"Don't you mean… Korean?" Jinwoo asked with even more confusion before a face of realisation dawned on both of them.

"This resolves the language barrier problem I guess. I'm not even surprised considering how powerful the system is," I sighed as I exited the room to explore the rest of the house.

"There's a letter here. It seems we're all going to school tomorrow morning," Jinwoo noted in the background as I walked up the stairs to our new humble abode. The house had four bedrooms, a shower and a kitchen. It was pretty good accommodation.

"Without the worry of death for now, perhaps I should explore this world. A nice break from death…" I muttered to myself as I checked the furnished rooms. I chose one tactically positioned near the stairs and laid out my duffle bag of weapons and munitions. It wasn't too fancy, with a study desk, an empty closet and a bed.
