4 Darth Ark

The deepest and scariest parts of the underworld were home to the Leader of the nether realm, protected by his six-finger generals. According to the old man, the lady soon understood the power behind her beauty and began using it to her advantage. One after the other, each member of the six-finger generals approached the human and fulfilled her desires, whether big or small. However, unlike other lesser demons, these six demon generals demanded intimacy as payment for their services.

On six different occasions, the lady birthed children who are now considered the six Kahi'ks of the Ark family. These Kahi'ks are descendants of the six-finger generals, each with their uniqueness and strengths.

Unfortunately, man was created to fraternize with the devils of the underworld.

After being intimate with high-level demons, the lady's soul was corrupted and her body was infected by the plagues of the nether realm. The remaining days of her life were lived in agony as her beauty faded, and her body aged rapidly. Upon her death, the six-finger generals of the underworld returned to the mortal realm to pay their respect, before personally escorting her soul to the depths of the underworld, where it is said that she had become a queen there.

Upon her death, the six founders of the Ark family could not remain amongst the humans, as they were deemed abominations. They took their mistresses and escaped into Hallow Mountain, where they created their new home.

With the blood of demon generals running in their veins, the Ark family was tremendously powerful. They dominated the battlefield and slaughtered all those who got in their way. They slowly became accustomed to the ways of the supernatural world and learned of a better and befitting home for people of their caliber.

Aetheria!

At that time the four alpha families residing in Aetheria were Vampires, witches/warlocks, werewolves, and elves. The arrival of the Ark family was like a nightmare, and the entire Hallow mountain watched as the Ark family performed the call, summoning the gates to the temple of races.

This was a place where the candles of all the existing races were preserved. To become an alpha race, one had to be able to perform the call and light their race candle. But for one to light their race candle, they needed to snuff another one out, especially since only four alpha races can exist at a time.

Once a race candle of an alpha race is challenged, they are faced with two choices. Fight to the death to defend the race position as an alpha race, or watch your race candle get snuffed out and get kicked out of Aetheria.

Before the watchful eyes of the entire supernatural world, the leader of the elves attempted to protect his race candle. He was brutally slaughtered, sparking an outrage amongst the elves, and they engaged in an all-out war with the Ark family.

In a mere week into the battle, over two-thirds of the elf population were slaughtered and the war ended. The elves left Aetheria and the Ark family replaced it.

'So we are all descendants of a hoe who got gang banged by six demons?' Louis tried to maintain a straight face while listening to the old man speak.

He wasn't impressed by the origin story, but he was interested in the power that followed.

"Since then, the Ark family has resided in Aetheria for over five centuries now, but even then we have not been completely accepted by the other alpha tribes." The old man shook his head bitterly.

"Tell me about my parents and what led to their death." Louis already felt sore lying in the same position for a long time, but he couldn't do anything about it.

He just endured the uncomfortable feeling and focused on the old man's face.

"Well… Your father was one of the six Kahi'ks of the Ark tribe, a descendant of Lord Cerberus and strongest in the court."  The old man began his explanation. "It is forbidden for supernatural beings from different races to get involved, but your father didn't care about the rules."

"Like our ancestors, he did as he pleased and forcibly took the daughter of the Matriarch of the witch/warlock race." The old man continued with a sad look on his face. "A year ago the alpha races discovered your parents had been using the gate, Bashomon, to cross into the nether realm. The same gate was meant to be protected by the alpha races."

"So they were put to death and executed for their crimes." Louis cut in with a frown.

However, the old man shook his head and his eyes shone with pride.

"It turned into a battle, and your parents stood tall as they battled the leaders of the three alpha races residing in Aetheria. The battle lasted for days before they were finally killed." The old man said with a bitter smile and pride blazing in his eyes.

'Brutes by blood' Louis concluded after seeing the look on the old man's face.

It was clear why they died did not matter, but how they died. He felt proud that the sixth tribe Kahi'k had fought to the very end and in a big way.

"To prove they had nothing to do with the sixth Kahi'k's trips to the underworld with his wife, the other five Kahi'ks did not get involved with the battle and happily gave you out to alpha tribes when they demanded your head." The old man said, the anger in his eyes visible.

"Why would they ask for me?" Louis asked, intrigued by the topic.

"You are the product of a union between a witch and an Ark. A combination of two races, and this is considered an abomination." The old man explained. "They placed the immortal blood-shattering seal on you to seal your witch bloodline, but such a seal is too powerful for a child to withstand. You fell into a comma after the seal was placed, and your health was deteriorating rapidly. We all believed you would die soon, but it seems the heavens are on our side!"

Hearing the man talking about the heavens, Louis couldn't help but chuckle. How can descendants of the underworld speak about the heavens being on their side?

"Why didn't they just kill me directly?" Louis couldn't help but ask.

If they wanted to get rid of the abomination, the best thing was to kill him. The sixth Kahi'k was already dead, and the Ark family had abandoned the sixth tribe. Surely they could have killed him easily.

"It's because everyone fears the new Kahi'k of the sixth tribe. Your father's brother, who has been wandering the desolate grounds of Hallow Mountain." The eyes of the old man lit up as he spoke about this man.

"Your father had expected something may happen, so he had already reached out to his brother, who sent a message saying he would be returning to Aetheria in one year. The fear of that man is the reason they did not kill you directly." He said.

"Why?" Louis was confused.

He failed to understand why the entire Aetheria was scared of one man.

"If your father was a demon, his brother is the devil. He is the strongest being of his generation and a ruthless monster." The old man said with a smile. "He was the one originally meant to be the sixth Kahi'k, but he wanted to travel to all corners of the hallow mountain and didn't want to be held down."

"His name is Darth Ark!'"
