3 . Who are you ?

"Who are you " after he asked that question there was silence in the place , the woman snapped out of her reverie and looked at him and said "Hmm , that's a hard and easy question" She was intently gazing at him, he would be mistaken if not for her blushing face, he internally thought ' Seems like she's still embarrassed about before , but she can keep such a serious face, if not for her blush I would have been fooled' after looking at her face for sometime he again asked her

" So who are you , and where am I " after hearing his question again she had a thoughtful expression and after a few seconds she answered him " You are now in the realm ruled by me and as you have guessed you have passed away in your world and your soul was brought here by me and as for your other question ,I'm known by many titles but I'm not going to talk about all of that. I'm known as Tiamat Mother of all Dragons and Primordial Goddess of Creation" .

{ A.N : I change the stuff about Tiamat from myths She's the primordial goddess of sea from which gods were born from in ancient religion of Babylon }

It would be an understatement to say that he was surprised , never in his time alive would he have expected to meet a goddess even a goddess like Tiamat , While Sieg's brain was trying to process the information Tiamat was looking at him with gentle expression while stroking his head .

Sieg was thinking over the information in his head and he didn't know why but when he heard her say that she was the Mother of all Dragon's he felt a slightly uncomfortable feeling in his heart , so he asked the question that was bugging him " Are all dragon's your children "

She answered while still stroking his head

" It's just a title as I was the first dragon to be created , I do not have children neither do I have a husband " hearing her answer the uncomfortable feeling in Sieg's heart went away.

She was still looking at him with a gentle smile , while Sieg observed her and felt she was giving him a familiar feeling , he thought if he had seen her before but he couldn't remember how or when so instead of thinking too much about it he asked her

" Lady Tiamat-" but before he could complete his question Tiamat interrupted him with a dangerous smile

" Just call me Tia " he knew if he didn't follow her request something bad might happen and he didn't have any intention of finding it out .

Sieg asked again with an awkward smile

" So Tia have we met before" hearing his question Tiamat's face blossomed into a beautiful smile , Sieg was momentarily stunned by her beauty but after some time he shook out of it and looked at her waiting for the answer , as if reading his thoughts she answered " Yes and No , I haven't met you directly but I have talked to you before while using an avatar of mine while posing as a mortal , and I was really sad I couldn't interfere in the mortal plane or I would have helped you , I tried multiple times to advice you against being selfless but you didn't listen and each time you kept doing the same thing , In the end I had to watch you sacrifice yourself each time and it was a torturous experience " . When he heard her words he felt confused ' what does she mean by each time ' suddenly something inside his mind clicked and he understood ' So those visions were about me ? ' he was trying hard to process all the new information.

As if sensing what was going through his head she gently stroked his head while saying

" Sieg you were highly favoured by the will of the universe and you have unlimited potential, but fate was always cruel to you , still you never backed away and you didn't think twice about helping others . At first I observed you because you were able to kill a very strong member of the dragon race , many Dragons wanted to kill you because in their eyes , you an ant was able to slay a dragon and this didn't sit well with them so they wanted to regain their pride by ending you . But I didn't allow that as I found you very interesting because it was the first time I saw a weak little human able to slay one of the most powerful beings in the world 'A Dragon' . Due to my intrigue I kept observing you and I felt pity that you died while sacrificing yourself . But after a few decades I felt your aura again and when checked for it , I saw a child and I was shocked to see his soul as it was the exact same as your soul . And it led me to think of a certain possibility , although it is not heard of it is not impossible. Reincarnation , but In your case you didn't have any memories of your past life but you still had your unlimited potential and although much weaker the remnant dragon blood you obtained after killing the dragon . So you were much stronger than ordinary humans, even then you never got arrogant or mistreated the weak or used your strength to bully others. You helped countless people and earned fame and recognition and was revered throughout the land and finally due to the greed of others you were used as a sacrifice , you didn't even protest when they wanted you to die , you willingly gave up your life . I thought you were very foolish to do this for a bunch of ungrateful ants . And I was disappointed that you died like this but it didn't last long , as I sensed your aura again and to my surprise you reincarnated again .

Even without your memories you still retained your kind personality , although you bloodline got weaker you still had higher potential and was much stronger than others . You didn't use your strength to oppress others instead you used it help others and once again you didn't think twice about sacrificing yourself .

As if it was some type twisted fate you reincarnated again and this time I descended to the mortal plain and disguised myself as a mortal and found an opportunity to get in contact with you because I found you very interesting , I got my chance to meet you and after interacting with you I felt you were very interesting so I decided to follow you in your journey and we became good friends .

During our journey you would never refuse to help those in need although I tried to dissuade you but you wouldn't listen. I was exasperated with your behaviour and was quite annoyed but after a few years I didn't mind it that much . Without realising it I grew closer to you during the years but I didn't think too much and believed it was because I thought of you as good friend , but the pleasant times didn't last long , you fought in a war and was hailed as a hero and enjoyed a good life and it was time for me to go as well , although saddened by the fact that I had to go I couldn't stay in the mortal realm for too long and finally bid farewell to you and left for my domain in the upper world." Tiamat paused a little and after looking at Sieg with a complicated expression she continued " I still watched you from time to time to know what you were doing and although you fought and killed a lot of enemies you were victorious and kept gaining fame so I thought you would be fine for the time being so I stopped observing you , and after a few years when I checked again I couldn't feel your aura , I felt a bad premonition and when I searched for you I found out that you already died and the cause of your death was you died while protecting the citizens of the kingdom from a whole enemy army " Tiamat was trying very hard not to cry when remembering those memories .

" When I found out that you had died I felt like my heart was being squeezed by someone , it was the first time in my life that I felt like this , I never would have thought that I would care so much about a mortal , I didn't know why I felt so sad about your death but I didn't care , I just wanted to see you one last time . When I was in despair over your death I felt a familiar aura , It was weaker and and was not very distinguishable . I suddenly had fleeting hope, although it had a low chance I still believed in it and when I searched for the source of the aura, it was newborn child although not very noticeable it still had your aura although very weak and different. Although you were alive it was evident that you were not the same as before , so I left a mark on your soul and kept observing you while you grew up , even though you didn't have memories of your past life you behaved in the same way as your previous life and followed the same path in life , seeing this I felt if left alone you might follow the same path of your previous life so I descended to your world in a mortals body and tried to find you and after finding you I tried to get acquainted with you and after a few months we became quite good friends .

This time I tried even harder to convince you to not accept the request of every random stranger , but just like last time you didn't listen , I didn't give up tho I tried even harder to convince you but I didn't succeed in the end I had to watch you die and I experienced the same grief again and I was depressed for a few years until I felt your aura again and I was excited and I searched and saw a young boy with silver hair and had some resemblance to your past self , I did the same thing all over again not wanting you to sacrifice yourself but I couldn't change your fate and I again had to witness you reincarnate . I accompanied you through countless lives and each time I failed to convince you and had to watch you die and each time I felt like a part of me was dying.

Not willing to experience this feeling, I stopped descending to the mortal world and only played the role of an observer . But it didn't go as I thought, even though I didn't interact with you , when I saw you die each time the feeling in my heart intensified to the point it was unbearable , and finally I realised I fell in love with you over the years . It was stupid that a goddess like me fell in love with a mortal but by the time I realised it I loved you so much that I couldn't bear to see you suffer" Tiamat paused and looked at Sieg and noticed his complicated expression and she said with teary eyes " I-Im sorry for springing this upon I know you wouldn't like a woman like me "

When Sieg heard her he felt a slight pain in his heart he didn't know why but he didnt like seeing this woman in front of him sad , he didn't know why but he felt an inexplicable bond between them and he couldn't help but think of Ruby , who he left behind and he sighed in his mind ' Hah , I'm such a scumbag'

and he looked at the woman in front of him who would burst into tears at any moment if he uttered any wrong sentence . So he did the most logical thing in his mind , he sat up from her lap and bent forward and took her luscious lips . It was a gentle kiss , after a few moments he pulled back and looked at her , he couldn't help but chuckle after seeing her expression , she was opening and closing her mouth and tried to say something but no sound came out and he could see her blushing furiously upto her ears and after hearing his laugh she broke out her daze and looked at him and asked " W-Why d-did you do that " .

After hearing her question Sieg moved closer to her and held her face and affectionately caressing it " Because I love you ".

He didn't know why he could say those words , he just met her but he felt his words were natural and something he wanted to say for a long time .

She was in a daze after hearing his , and took a while for her to register his words and after a while she started crying, not because she was sad but because she finally got to hear the words she wanted to hear after all this time .

After hearing his words she got overjoyed and pressed her lips against his . She was clumsy at first but after being led by Sieg she got better and they sucked each other's lips fervently. It was a very passionate kiss unlike the first time . After long while they seperated and he asked her while caressing her face in a loving manner " What happened after that "

After hearing his words she answered with sad tone " No matter how many times you got reincarnated your fate naver changed , even without any memories you had the same compassionate personality. But finally I saw hope , this time there was a change in your behaviour although you were kind to others and never bullied the weak , you never went out of your way to save everyone, and you were more selfish in this life . I believed this time you would break the shackles of fate but you still sacrificed yourself , only this time it was for a woman you loved " Sieg could feel the change in atmosphere when she talked about Ruby .

Sieg did the smartest thing and smiled at her while saying " I would do the same thing for you " and patted her head .

" Hmph" she turned her head away while pouting but he could feel that her mood got better . ' Sigh woman are so complicated '

While he was thinking about how troublesome women were Tiamat glared at him and asked " Where you thinking something rude "

Sieg was a smart man and he didn't plan on dying so soon after being saved, so he picked the smartest choce and kissed her and said

" Nope"

Sieg had successfully evaded a calamity.
