Jocker

Lilli's life wasn't going on well. She hate to be part of Soma Familia. She was bullied and was hatted by everyone in her Familia. All her savings were forcefully taken by her Familia members. She was born in that Familia. So in order to leave this Familia she had to pay a huge amount of money that she couldn't imagine.

She thought she can pay the money by selling items she stole from Bell and Welf especially the black sword. It was her first time she tried to kill someone. She is more nervous and scared now. She hatted adventures because they also treat her like a dog. When Bell's face come to her mind, she felt a little bit guilty. After some deep thoughts, she resolved herself to put away the guilty feelings and move forward. She repeated to her mind that everything she did was to survive.

Hephaestus asked Bell to find Lilli and hand her over to her so that she could punish her badly.

Bell said that he will hand her over to Hephaestus only if she agree to her request. She was hesitant at first but latter after calming down, she agreed to his request.

Bell was completely fine after poisoning. It took only a night to recover himself. Bell decided to go search for Lilli. On his way he noticed an old salesman trying to sell a masks. Most of them look like animals. But what caught bell was a mask of a jocker. He was staring at it. He didn't even realize that the old man was already right in front of him.

Old man with a smile " Looks like you liked this jocker mask. "

Bell still staring at it.

Old man " Want to give it a try ?" ,He offered the mask to Bell who just stood there staring it like a child who just got a new toy.

Bell " Can I have it ?"

Old man " of Couse you can."

Bell after paying the old man brought the mask. He then put on the mask. Nothing changed but for some reason he felt really good. When he was looking here and there with his mask on he found Lilli walking toward a item shop. It was pure luck that he found her.

Lilli entered the item shop. She already knew the shop owner. She normally sold the items that she stole from adventurers she had previously paired with. She pull out the items from her back. She tried to sell it. She was expecting a very huge amount as payment.

The shop owner take a look at the items she gave him. He them offered her a lower price which she wasn't ready for. She tried to make an argument with him. But it was at this moment she realized that She got badly tricked.

The black sword appeared similar to the original one. But it wasn't the real one. Welf made a fake copy of each item .Everything she stole from them was made of cheap material. It was at this moment she realized that she really fucked up. She was really shocked at the turn of events. She now suspect that Bell and Welf would be alive. She had chills run through her spine when she came to the conclusion.

They were suspicious of Lilli. They were expecting something like that. While Welf was crafting the fake items Bell went out to get more information about Lilli. Bell was lucky to find more information about Lilli from Miss Eina.

Lilli has no choice but to sell the items for the cheap rate. She was really mad at being tricked by them. She wanted to take revenge. She then decided to hide herself from getting caught. After getting out of the shop she use transformation magic to transform into an elf. She then walked away to her secret home outside her Familia.

Bell was observing her all this time from a the top of a building. He learned that she could use transformation magic. Bell decided to follow her.

Lilli reached her secret home. She transformed back to her real self. She hide her savings here. Unfortunately, it is no longer a safe place to hide her things.

Her Familia members were already inside the one roomed house. He was shocked to see that they have already taken her savings.

Her own Familia members attacked her for hiding money from them. There were 4 people, two level 2s and two level 1s. Lilli is just level 1.

She was thoroughly beaten up. She almost lost hope. She cursed herself for being weak and pathetic. She asked the Gods why she has to be weak. She didn't want to be weak anymore. She felt guilty for betraying Bell and Welf. She thought she was about to die.

Bell was watching all this from a roof top of a building. Bell ' So it's true that she was suffering hard because of her own Familia. Alright then it's time for some hero stuff. '

Bell jumped down from the top of the building while casting a firebolt at the four people. The two level 1s got a direct hit and was thrown away crashing into the wall, completely knocked out. One level 2 successfully dodged the attack while the other one got direct him but not knocked out. Lilli wasn't hurt because she was lying close to the ground.

Bell was wearing a mask. His head was covered fully by the part of his jacket. They couldn't identify who it is. Bell immediately attacked the unhurt level 2.

Bell was really good at using swords. Even though they are both of the same level Bell was faster and stronger than his opponent. Thanks to Miss Ryu He could counter every attack. Bell dodged a straight swing of his opponent's sword. He swing his from bottom to top and hit his opponent's sword close to the handle. His opponent's sword was thrown away. Bell completely knocked out his opponent by pouching as hard as he can on his chin.

Other level 2 caught Lilli and used her as a dummy shield. He warned Bell to surrender or else he would kill her.

Bell let out a sign.

Bell " I don't mind if you kill her by yourself. "

Both Lilli and her Familia member were shocked.

Familia member " Wait, what.. ?"

Bell " Actually I was thinking about killing her myself."

Lilli was shocked to know Bell is still alive. She couldn't utter a word

Familia member " So you want her dead, but why did you attack us ?, we could have make your job much easier. "

Bell "She tried to kill me and my friend, just to stole the items from us. I could have let you guys do the job for me. But I changed my mind. "

Familia member " So are you going to save her from me ?"

Bell " No "

Familia member " Then ?"

Bell put his sword back to it's pouch. He then took out a bag of money from his pocket.

Bell " How about we make a deal. "

Familia member confused" What deal?"

Bell throwing the bag of money to that man " Instead of killing her ,let me try something more fun . I am going to make her pay with her body today "

Familia member staring at the bag of money " But you haven't answered my question."

Bell " Don't be silly, It's just because I don't have much hatred for your friends. I am sorry to hurt your friends though "

Lilli was shivering in fear. She tried to free herself from him but she couldn't.

Familia member with a simile " So be it"

He throw her to Bell and walked away. She was lying down to the ground. She looked at him pathetically.

Lilli " B-Bell s-sama..."

Bell without much emotions" I would like to talk to you? Lilli . "
