Chapter 03: Final Reincarnation

Overcome by hatred and frustration, my mind began to consume itself as one phrase repeated itself in my mind over and over.

"How could they have done this?! I don't deserve this... they deserve to die for this!"

Quickly reason began to blur as the final thing I could remember before I woke was a voice telling me to

"Kill them... kill them all! As they deserve to die!!"

I awoke, back to where it all began,

the brightly lid room of the gods...

As soon as my eyes hot used to the blinding lights. My eyes met with the deity making me lash out to him, becoming overwhelmed by doubt, fear and frustration.

I spoke my mind, letting anything slip without concern for others.

"How dare you! How dare you inflict this kind of trauma upon me you filthy excuse of a god?!"

Something broke inside me as I snapped and continued to rant in front of the deity.

"I have to kill you all!! That's it... you all deserve to die for this... Such a inhumane act will have consequences!"

The deity couldn't help but laugh a bit at my desperate display of frustration and horror.

But he realized that he may have been a bit to harsh... As he himself couldn't have foreseen any of the events that had happened in his previous live.

I felt like he mocked me, just like he had done before as he spoke to me in earnest, almost as if he spoke out of pity to me.

"I'm sorry for what has happened to you,

which is why I will be giving you another chance at life in the same world, but at a different time period...

Leaving you with the abilities you have developed in your previous life. However I did realize something even more important now as well..."

"Which is..." 

I replied being annoyed,

as I knew he would be up to no good again...

"You are a bigger danger than they had let on down at headquarters... You know what? Since I'm a benevolent being I'll keep your memories in tact, but... I'll restrain these said abilities in such a way that you'll be unable to develop them even further."

Hearing that made me furious, not only had he given away my powers previously... but he wanted to restrict me in the next life to come?!"

"Of course that's not all that I'll do, I'll make your mana pool more potent than anyone else's, having such a vast source without the ability to utilize it to its full potential,

now... isn't that hilarious?! Hyahahaha!"

The deity broke out in laughter as blood shot through my eyes, who did he think he was? That was when I heard the voice again.

"Kill..."

Everything slowly went dark when a final echo ebbed throughout my mind.

"Kill... Them... All..."

The last thing that I know off was that I awoke in an unknown location, new to me was the sensation of wet grass as I opened my eyes to find myself within the depths of a forest.

The sun warm shining brightly as the rays touched my skin. 

"Warm."

Instead of cold, wet and darkness I had finally witnessed the warmth of the world... 

As the voice still echoed through my mind I tried reaching for the sun. That was when suddenly someone blocked out the sun with their face. 

Blinded by the sun I couldn't really make out the shillouette, other than the fact that it was someone with long pointy ears.

"Enjoying the weather? Hehe."

The one said who blocked the sun.

As the person lifted their head, the sun broke free, once again bestowing the warmth of its radiance upon me.

As I reached out to it, it quickly became clear that I wasn't myself anymore, or as how I would like to subscribe... that I found myself whitin a new body... A smaller one for that matter...

My hands were tiny and couldn't reach far.

I tried to get up, hut couldn't... frustration arose as helplessness got the better of me.

I cried as I reaziled I wasn't able to talk...

The shillouette bowed its head over me wanting to see what was wrong.

"What is wrong little one? Got nowhere to call home?"

The trees overshadowed the sun as the leaves danced in the wind, revealing the identity of a young woman. A young woman with long white hair, dark skin and pointy ears. 

Gently she wiped away my tears and smiled...

I could feel the warmth of her hand flowing over to me by her gentle touch, it calmed me down...

Making me feel like I was... Home...

I smiled and even giggled a bit.

This made the woman happy.

"You know what, if I may be so bold young one?

Maybe want to stay with me? I can provide you with a house outside of danger and even give you warm meals."

I liked the sound of that, being overjoyed about her offer, I slapped my hands together and tried talking to her, which unleashed the most embarrassing mumbling noices ever.

That was when I knew... I was indeed a baby!

There was nothing I could do, as I had already woken up in my new body, the only thing left was for me to find out what was left of my previous lives.

The woman proceeded to gently lift me up,

no basket... only a thin layered blanket and what looked like a ripped diper made out of some old cloth which had been carelessly wrapped around me.

I swear if I ever get my hands on the senile old fool of a god... I swear! 

I was speaking gibberish as no sensible word would come out of my mouth, the woman laughed and tightly held me to her chest.

"See, this world isn't so bad, right little one?"

The woman brushed her hand through my hair,

which gave me a feeling of serenity and warmth.

I calmed down in her arms and slowly fell asleep,

only to awaken in a soft bed covered with linen.

It felt like I was in heaven, not to mention thinking about the position I was in before falling asleep,

this could only get better, right? 

As I looked around I noticed the woman wasn't around, curious to see where she was I rolled around to try and find the edge of the bed, but looking down I saw it was difficult to nearly impossible finding a way down.

Confused by the new area I couldn't help but want to explore, looking around, quickly I found a chair close to the bed. Trying to crawl on it, I noticed something laying next to the chair which allowed me to slowly decent to the ground.

I had done it! The next step was for me to explore this unknown house, but... as it took me a while to get to the door, the room suddenly was filled with a mouth watering scent which reminded me, that I still hadn't eaten!

As my belly began to rumble I had to follow the scent.

It took nearly all the energy and effort I could muster, but when I got closer to the scent, it dawned on me.

She must have been cooking!

My eyes began to twinkle as I couldn't stop myself anymore. Arriving at what seemed like the kitchen I finally found her, the woman from earlier, cooking something up what smelled delicious.

Curious about it I crawled towards her as fast as I could, or rather struggling to gain any distance as I hadn't really moved around with this body before.

That was when I finally arrived at the legs of the woman, instinct drove me to climb up her leg as hunger and curiosity had gotten the better of me.

The woman felt something tugging her leg and looked down, our eyes met and she smiled.

"Couldn't wait till I was finished couldn't you?"

She lay down her cooking utensils,

put out the fire and lowered herself to talk to me.

"Well, it does smell delicious doesn't it?

I can't wait till it's finished either."

She picked me up and put me on the couch across from the kitchen.

"Now, if you're nice and listen to mommy, lunch will be ready soon. Just wait for me to finish okay?"

I nodded and sat on the couch waiting, until two richly filled plates got brought to the table by the woman.

There were berries, fruits and even toast.

It smelled so delicious I just couldn't wait to dig in anymore. 

As my hands were to small for the fine use of the fork and a knife, ahe had made sure everything had been cut down to size. Gently reaching out to me with a bite.

I opened my mouth and before I knew it became fed by the woman. Man... this, was the life!

Even thought I wasn't within the city,

I could get used to this...
