Lunch

"Do you mind if I eat lunch with you?"

Mina approached me after the bell rang and asked.

"Er... Sure, but what about your friends?"

"They know I always try to make new friends"

"So we are going to be friends?"

"I already consider you as one. A friend that I feel really grateful for"

"I guess you liked the email :chuckle:"

"Yes, thank you sooo much for that. I was so excited to learn so much about him that I could hardly sleep. I read it over and over and over and now I memorized the whole thing"

"I'm sorry, but that's kinda creepy"

"Tehe"

With that she put two lunch boxes on my desk, smiling at me as she did so.

"Wow. You eat a lot"

"No, this one's for you"

"Huh?"

"As a thank you. I made it myself"

"That's sweet. I was gonna buy some sandwich but I will take up on your offer"

"Please open it and let me know what you think"

"Sure"

I expectantly opened the lunch box and cringed straight away.

"You sure you meant to give this to me?"

I just had to ask because in the lunch box, what looked like an omelet had "Juno" written on it with ketchup, complete with a heart.

"Sorry, it's a bit embarrassing. What do you think?"

"It's weirrrd. I feel wrong eating this"

"I just wanted to… show you and ask you, do you think he will like something like this?"

"If it's from YOU, he will love it. Probably takes a picture of it and frames it on his wall or something"

"Is he like that?"

"No, I'm just joking. But yeah, it's a bit over the top in my opinion, but if it's from you he will be happy"

"Why do you keep saying that since yesterday?"

"Well, look at yourself. You are a pretty, smart, and popular girl. Everybody likes you, and I can't see why Juno would be an exception. You should just go and ask him out already"

"I... I can't. I'm serious about him... I don't want things to just go like that.."

"You don't even know him! How can you be 'serious'?"

"I don't know. I just get really flustered when I think about him"

"Well I can't tell you how you feel and I don't want to get in the way of Juno potentially getting his first girlfriend, so I'll just leave it at that"

"First girlfriend?"

"Yeah, he's never had a girlfriend before"

"I see…"

With that, she blushed a little and it was written all over her face that she was happy to hear that.
