The quest time was almost over and the police were coming way too late as always, I was questioned and eventually, we learned his wife wasn't kidnapped she ran away with her new boyfriend; and he was just really deceivable.

"I feel kinda bad for him, but at least he died without hatred in his heart" Nathan spoke with the same solemn expression he's had this whole time

*blah* "Please can we not talk about that anymore I still feel sick when I think about it," I asked kindly while puking my guts out

The thought came to my mind again but there wasn't anything in my stomach left to be expelled. my stomach began to rumble and brought attention from both Nathan and Joe to me.

"Hey kid, you should go home you've been here for almost a whole day, you need to eat," Joe said worriedly

"And a shower" Nathan blurted while covering his nose

"I, you bastard" I tried to argue but he wasn't wrong. There was nothing happening and only about ten minutes left so decided to hold a conversation until the time ran out.

"And then the monkey grabbed my..." Nathan was interrupted

"Bye guys, I'm headed home to see you at the guild" I interrupted because of the system giving me the [quest complete] message.

I left the hospital to go to Melissa's apartment and finish packing if Rick didn't already. when I got there it seemed pretty normal until I walked towards my room; there wasn't a single thing out of place everything was still there nothing was unpacked.

*pat tap pat tap pat* Footsteps could be heard from behind me but they didn't sound human more like a small dog or a cat, I turned around and saw a small dog with brown fur and red eyes and it's tail between his legs.

"Rick?" I asked because it looked way too similar to his wolf form

Right before my eyes, the little dog grew into a huge wolf and then shrank into a fairly large man.

"m-m-mon-monster " he stuttered in a low voice

"speak up I can't hear you" I wasn't sure what he had said

"MONSTER SHE'S A MONSTER RUN" he screamed from the top of his lungs

"who is a monster what are you tal..." I tried to ask before but I understood as soon as I remembered who my sister was

All of a sudden Melissa came in with a smile that was scarier than Gelos and a dark aura that filled the room
