After a few more hours the quest was almost halfway done.

Nothing big seemed to happen the hours that I was by the guild masters' side, so I decided to go to a vending machine and grab a snack. As I began to walk back I saw three men in black clothing enter the guild masters room. I hurriedly follow to see what was about to perspire with the men and asked what business they have with the guild master.

"Hello there, may I ask why you came to see a sleeping man while wearing identical suits that are well beyond two thousand dollars," I asked giving them a suspicious glare.

"Kid why don't you have a seat we mean no harm just here as bodyguards for the guild master himself," One man said while moving next to the guild masters bed

The other two stood silently one by the door the other by the window. I used (Insight) on the three of them starting first with the one who spoke out to me.

I thought for a while and decided that if not all of them are here to kill the guild master then at least one of them is. The guy at the door looked in my direction and gave an impatient yet gentle smile so he was the next one I checked.

I couldn't help but hold my breath to keep in the laughter, he noticed that I looked a little uncomfortable and asked "are you ok"

I was a little embarrassed and I decided to forget about his class and move on to the guy by the window just to be sure none of them are here to harm he guild master,

I stood up and walked towards the man by the guild masters bed, unsure If his status was relevant to his current occupation.

"Are you here to kill the guild master" I whispered while placing my hand on his shoulder and stepping in-between him and the guild master.

He turned to me looking shocked and asked "What are you talking about I came here to protect him"

He started to draw attention from the other two

"Ok bud I think you should sit down the nurses told us you've not left his side since you have been here," super dad says to me with a worried look

The reaper just stood still halfway ready to strike without being too open

I noticed the guardian smile for half a second and remembered that I'm the son of a wealthy family and reading people is the only thing I didn't hate about it. I asked them all at the same time "why did it take half a day for you to arrive at the hospital for such an important client such as the guild master"

they looked around at each other surprised for a while until the guardian pointed at the reaper

"It was him, he kept telling us that there wasn't a need to go because someone strong enough was watching the guild master,"

I wondered if that someone was me, but pushed the thought out of my mind because there's no way they'd leave the most important person in the hands of someone who is barely an adventurer.

The reaper then looked at me and nodded, while starting to open his mouth for the first time this whole while.

"Yes I got a message from the guild that a man with an incredible status indirectly put him in this position, felt responsible, and chased down the ambulance when he couldn't come with him"

My face became pale when I thought about the responsibility of the leading city authority.
