The grand gesture!

The rest of the day went by like a blur with Kat still giving me the stink eye and Ally continuously thanking me.

Threatening a guy is an everyday thing for me. I live to instil fear in the hearts of my enemies!

"Damn it Addie, listen!"

Exclaimed Kat slapping the back of my head in anger.

"Huh? What?!"

Equally enraged I rubbed the sore spot she hit. I'm going to end up with a bold spot with the number of times she kept hitting that area.

"I said you really shouldn't meddle in the affairs of others you know."

"But meddling is what I do for a living"

I answered with a sweet voice hands clasped in an angelic pose fluttering my eyelashes at my angry friend.

"You know, one day it's gonna bite you back."

"She's right you know"

Alison commented and I raised a brow at that. I just helped her. What the heck is she talking about?

"Karma is a bitch"

Kat continued with her scolding but I chose to ignore her.

"But Addison is a bigger bitch"

Ally smirked giving me a look of thanks. I smirked back. Holding hands we began cackling like insane witches.

Did I mention how much I love this girl?!

"You guys are hopeless"

Sticking our tongues out at Kat she rolled her eyes at our childishness shaking her head in disappointment.

"Hey, where's Adam?"

I asked curious about the boy's location. The two girls stopped walking to face me. Kat shrugged her shoulders at me and Ally began nervously chewing on her nails.

"It's already been three hours and I still haven't gotten any news about the said grand gesture."

Ally looked to the floor in slight disappointment. She and I were so looking forward to him making a fool outta himself.

Placing my hands on my hips, I sighed.

"Well, looks like someone won't be getting a family in the future"

Cracking my knuckles I prepared to go on the lookout for my victim.

Before I could go looking for him however the sudden commotion of students stopped me in my tracks. Looking to the growing crowd in front I quirked a brow in question.

Curious I pulled my friends by their arms towards the crowd. Pushing students out of the way and receiving harsh glares to which I returned sevenfold, we made it to the front.

But I was not prepared to see what I saw and neither was Ally nor Kat.

Standing before a large crowd was Adam the main attraction wearing our school's mascot "Quacky the duck" costume

Down on one knee, he held a large banner above his head. It wrote with bright colours and bold letters the words  "I'm sorry I was such an asshole please forgive me!"

But that wasn't the best part. The best part was he only had on the mascot's head with no pants or shirt on.

His underwear was littered with spiderman's web and on the front of his crotch was the hero's head.

That just killed me. The entire school was out front laughing at him. Some took pictures of the underwear posting them on Instagram. Memes were already made as the fool stood there in the midst of it all.

"Oh my gosh!"

Kate held a hand to her mouth trying yet failing to cover her laughter.

"Holy Hanna!"

Alison straight up blushed as an onslaught of laughter forced its way out of her.

"This is great!"

I on the other hand was ecstatic. This guy did an awesome job at embarrassing himself.

As if being laughed at by the entire school wasn't enough, a teacher came out of nowhere and threw his jacket at the poor guy's body.

Hauling him off the ground by the shoulders he took off the mascot head and escorted a tomato-faced Adam to the principal's office.

"Well, I don't know about you guys but I'm satisfied"

I looked to a now smiling Alison who seemed over the moon at that moment.

"I got a dozen eggs in my bag"

Looking over at me with a wide smile Alison grew giddy in excitement. She knew why I had the eggs and how we'd put them to good use.

Kat shook her head at us but smiled nonetheless. Like middle school girls, we held hands and skipped our way to Adam's car.

Pulling out the eggs from my bag I opened the container and pushed it towards Alison.

"My lady, shall you do the honour?"

I asked in a British accent. Alison laughed at the terrible accent took an egg from the container and curtseyed at me.

"Why I shall"

She responded in an equally terrible British accent. Throwing the egg onto the windscreen of the red car it made a large splat.

Soon more eggs came flying on the poor vehicle with the three of us relentlessly assaulting it.

We laughed at the newly decorated car with egg yolk and shells sticking to it. Kat smudged on the window screen with a piece of paper spreading the yolk even more.

"Hey!"

Our heads shot to the sound of the voice as we saw a very pissed off Mr Harold, our biology teacher making his way toward us.

"Scramble!"

We laughed at the pun Ally made and ran as fast as we could. After five minutes of pursuit, Mr Harold gave up, probably figuring that he'd get us tomorrow instead.

Laughing in delight we continued running. Coming out of the school gates I yet again bumped into another student.

Why the heck was I bumping into people today?

"I'm so sor-"

Looking up at the tall person I once again found myself at a loss of words.

Are you kidding me? Is today a cursed day or something?

Maybe I shouldn't have cursed that higher being. They're totally getting back at me.

Before I could open my mouth to say anything to yet another one of my old crushes the pain-filled scream of what sounded like a coyote interrupted my thought process.

Jerking our heads to the source of the sound we stared at a now clothed but covered in egg yolk Adam.

Turning back to Luke without thinking I thrust the box of eggs into his arms took my friends by the arms and high-tailed it outta there.

We didn't stop until we were so far we could see the school anymore.

"We are so dead tomorrow"

Laughed a smiling Kat.

"I can't believe we actually did that. That was awesome!"

I happily exclaimed at my two best friends.

"I'm craving an egg sandwich."

Kat and I looked at Alison with weird expressions. The girl didn't seem at all bothered by this and like the three dumb idiots we were, laughed.

Deciding on lunch at a nearby diner we spent our time joking, eating and fooling around there.

Alison harassed a few boys and Kat choked on a piece of bread. All in all, it was our typical afternoon.

Later in the day, we decided to hang out at Kat's place for the rest of the day.

"Mom, dad I'm home!"

Kat screamed out. Soon after we could hear the soft pitter patter of small bare feet making their way down the stairs toward us.

"Sis, you're home!"

A smaller and younger version of Kat came running from the stairs. She threw herself at her sister in a hug.

"Hey, Amethyst."

I greeted the small girl. She gave me a toothy grin letting go of her sister to hug me in her place.

"Konichiwa Addie-san"

She greeted me back.

"Konichiwa, Amethyst!"

Ally proudly exclaimed giving the little girl a large grin. After greeting the small version of Kat we made our way to the sitting room.

Kat left to bring us a few snacks to munch on. Meanwhile, we were kept entertained by an energetic Amethyst who told us about her day by making wild animated gestures.

We laughed at her cuteness and the small jokes she made. She was exactly like her sister.

"What's all the noise abo-oh. It's you."

Lione, Kat's older brother walked into the room shirtless as usual.

His eyes met mine and a large smirk spread across his lips.

"Well hello, Addison."

He greeted in a flirtatious manner. I rolled my eyes at the idiot and responded in a dry tone.

"Hello Lione"

"You look as lovely as ever. Still, hung up on your last heartbreak? You know I heard dating a guy after a heartbreak helps ease the pain."

"Oh really? I had no idea"

I lifted a brow showing no interest in him or his words.

He suggestively winked at me and left to do whatever the hell he was busy with earlier.

I scoffed at the retreating figure and turned my gaze toward Alison. Whose pupils were in the shape of a heart and had drool falling down her chin.

"Ally, you're drooling."

"Huh? Where?"

Snapping out of it she frantically wiped away her drool.

It was no mystery Alison had a thing for Kat's brother and I couldn't blame her. The guy was no doubt hot. And man those packs.....those packs.

Fingers snapped in front of my eyes and I was brought back to reality. Ally gave me a knowing look ignoring her I rolled my eyes and turned back to the lone pre-schooler.

"Kay, so what're we watching?"

Walking into the room with a bowl of popcorn and a large tub of ice cream and three spoons in her hands, Kat carefully made her way to us on the couch.

I jumped in excitement extending my arms at the ice cream and making grabby hands at Kat.

She huffed in annoyance at my lack of compliance and handed me the tub.

Alison got up from her seat on the floor took the remote and turned to Netflix.

"We are watching Insidious"

Snatching the remote out of her hand Kat whacked her on the back of her head with it.

"Are you crazy? There's a six-year-old with us! Do you know what I went through after we watched 'It'? I had to share my bed with her for two whole weeks!"

Sighing in frustration Ally retreated to the couch throwing herself in its corner.

"We're watching something else."

"Why don't we watch 'Fantastic beasts and where to find them?"

I suggested with cheeks full of popcorn and ice cream. It's totally not disgusting by the way.

"Are you seriously eating popcorn and ice cream at the same time?"

Kat asked obviously disgusted.

"Yeahp!"

I proudly proclaimed raising a spoon in vindication. Alison made a disgusted face and threw a pillow at my face.

"Oomph....hey!"

"Stop being disgusting and swallow that gross abomination in your mouth"

"That's what he said"

She rolled her eyes at me and I smiled. Smacking the back of my head with a different pillow Kat scowled at me gesturing to her little sister who sat next to Ally.

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry geez"

Moving on from the conversation we picked a movie for the night.

Halfway through the movie, we heard the light snores of a sleeping Amethyst. Since I was the one being used as a body pillow I picked her up and made my way upstairs to her room.

Placing her into her blankets and tucking her in I kissed her on the cheek and left.

Lione stood in the hallway leaning on the wall arms crossed and smirking. Yeahp, still shirtless by the way.

"Will you be tucking in our children one day as well, or will that be me?"

I rolled my eyes at the comment and gave him the middle finger making him laugh.

Pushing off the wall he walked toward me. Wrapping a hand around my waist his other held my chin between his thumb and pointer finger.

My breath hitched as the scent of rosemary assaulted my senses. Heat radiated off him in waves making its way onto my body.

Our proximity made it easier for me to smell his enticing scent. We were so close, so incredibly close our noses barely touched.

I looked into his dark, grey eyes that left my heart in a storm. If I moved a little up I'm sure our lips would meet.

"That's quite a look you have there"

His voice was like a beautiful melody that hypnotized me, sending my brain into overdrive.

He moved closer to my lips, closer. Then....

"Addie! You still alive?"

Kat called out making her way up the stairs. All of a sudden my reason came crashing back at me and I pushed Lione off me.

"Y-yeah, I'll be right down"

Walking around him I made my way back to my friends. Taking a chance I looked back at the figure that stood in the hall.

He smirked and winked at me and I quickly turned my head back to the front hurriedly making my way down the stairs.

"So what're we watching?"

I asked Alison as I sat next to her.

"Insidious!"

That girl really wants to watch that movie, doesn't she?

Half an hour in the movie and I still could not concentrate. What happened in the hallway, or what almost happened left me in a state of confusion.

"You okay?"

Kat asked with concern. I looked at her and gave her the best smile I could muster.

"Yeah, I'm good"

We returned to the movie this time I made sure to pay full attention. Later in the night Ally and I left for our homes.

Unlocking the front door I heard voices coming from the kitchen.

Curious about who was there I made my way there. Entering the room I saw my father sitting on a chair at the kitchen table with Gloria next to him.

"Hey mom, which room's mine"

I turned around to the voice and my eyes widened at the sight of who I saw.

What the hell is Jackson doing in my house?

And who is he calling mom?!

"Oh, it's the one on the right, next to the bathroom sweety. Could you call your brothers down to say hi to their new sister?"

Wait, what?

"Luke, Ian! Come down"

Please don't tell me it's the same Ian and Luke I'm thinking of.

The sound of feet coming down from upstairs came and like a nightmare come to reality there stood the very same Ian and Luke I had confessed my feelings to.

"Uhm, dad. What's going on?"

I asked genuinely confused and a bit nervous because I had a slight idea of what it is that was happening. I just needed someone to tell me for sure.

"Oh, this is Ian, Jackson and Luke. Your new brothers."

You know that reaction in anime where a character hears something horrible and goes on their knees, screaming to the sky "Nooooooo!"

Well, that's what I did.

"Nooooooo!!!!!!"
