Sounds like a dystopian nightmare, right? Well, it is the reality for Gary, one of the human residents of Cybrion, the capital of Peiriant, the trouble for him is that Telekon, a robotics corporation that he works for, is full to the brim of insurgents trying to rid the planet of human life. He is Telekon's biggest help and enemy at the same time as he attempts to get rid of the insurgents and their control of the machines of Peiriant. Paranoid Android

While Oswald was an evil dictator who loved nothing but ordering his employees about, his brother, Rovon, was nowhere close to his persona, in fact, he was quite the opposite, he was a reclusive, paranoid, and quiet man, who had banished himself to a small, underground bunker somewhere near a conversion chamber, but a couple of years ago, his life was a lot more straightforward, when he was younger, he helped Oswald modify small electronic devices and later got a job at Gescom, the planet's main broadcasting company, he worked at his local radio station for a few years but quickly moved on to building other radio equipment including small transmitters.

But after Mr Oswald's career started to gain momentum after he became Telekon's new Head Of Manufacturing, Rovon had the unfortunate job of having to live in his brother's shadow, which didn't bother him much, but what Oswald did next did, when Oswald gained majority shares of Telekon and subsequently becoming Chairman of the corporation, a completely alien side to his personality started to emerge.

From that point, Rovon's suspicions regarding his brother's sudden change in persona grew, Oswald's behaviour became more and more erratic, and this made Rovon worried that something bad had happened to him, the fear of his brother going mad with power got so out of hand he decided to hide away from his brother in a small, room-sized bunker, he spent days, if not weeks at a time locked away in, from his point of view, his safe space, during his spare time, he conjured up schemes to bring an end to his brother's hold on the biggest job in Peiriant, not because he hated Oswald, but to reconnect with him.

Over time, he became more and more isolated, which left him with a huge dilemma to tackle, would he continue to stay in his bunker and keep himself safe at the expense of his own mental state, or would he rejoin the outside world risking his life to reconnect with his brother? It was a choice that would have huge ramifications regarding his life as well as his brother's.

"I'm no coward" he proclaimed one night as he made his mind up, "Sure I might get killed, but my brother's own wellbeing matters more than mine" he knew that the chances of his life getting cut short were quite high, but he didn't mind, he had been preparing for these kinds of situations for years, and now he felt ready enough to venture out into the new world, not even death itself put Rovon off from achieving what he wanted, that being to free Oswald from whatever had gotten into his head. "If I have to die to make Oswald a free man, then so be it!" Rovon had made his choice, there was no turning back.

When the day finally came, he took a long glance at the place he had called "home" for many years, he wasn't abandoning it completely however, he would return there now and again to gather all the things he had found on his travels, and sending some of it to the C.P.D to help in their investigations into how Telekon was really run, he knew that this was going to be a perilous endeavour but if he were to succeed, it would not only be a personal victory but it would also re-establish the trust between him and Oswald. His journey was by no means going to be straightforward, there were lots of things that had to go right, and Oswald was not going to let go of power anytime soon, the odds were against him.

"Well, I guess I ought to get started then," Rovon said as he slowly made his way out the door of his bunker and out into the streets of Cybrion, specifically an area known as The Booby Trap, nicknamed for its harmless appearance, and yet being the setting for some of the most violent murders in the whole of the city. "Ah, yes, this place" he murmured to himself, Rovon had made many trips to The Booby Trap and was lucky enough to be still alive after every visit, and with those experiences in mind, he was used to being in near-death scenarios.

"And so it commences" he said while he made his way down the barely-lit alleyways, "Too bad there aren't any toys for me to play with" he said with a degree of humour, the unfortunate losers of every shootout often left their guns behind, which meant that anybody could pick one up and make it rain bullets (And sometimes blood), but this time around, there wasn't a single gun in sight, maybe the law had finally caught up with the place. "Well, looks like the trap has already been set off" he breathed a sigh of relief, he knew that no one was close by, he could now fully focus on his plan.

Eventually, he arrived at a small tavern that was situated by a nearby railroad, "Ah, The Pavillion, good to see you haven't been torn down yet" many of Cybrion's old taverns were being demolished to make way for state of the art office blocks, but some of the residents were not particularly happy with the government's decision, so they held demonstration after demonstration outside some of Periant's most famous taverns until they got heard, and eventually the voices of the people won the day, but it wasn't without consequence, several of the people involved were shot by members of the insurgency, and most taverns were forced to shut early to avoid trouble, most days, drunken hilarity often gave way to not only broken bottles but broken bones as well. "Who knows what will happen once I get to the city centre, I may well be own potential downfall" he continued on with his journey, the whole city felt like an alien world to him, so much had changed since he was last there, buildings became taller, technology had improved drastically, and most importantly, his brother was now the most feared man in the whole of Peiriant.
