1 Prologue

It was a pleasant day, the people at the zoo thought so as they enjoyed their visit and looked at all the strange animals.

Some were happy, some were amazed, and others were disinterested while their family enjoyed the trip. One of those disinterested people was a 20-year-old young man who had black hair and deep blue eyes. His face was handsome and pleasant to look at, but his eyes were slightly cold.

Beside him walked a middle-aged couple and an 8-year-old girl that constantly laughed and talked as they looked at all the different animals.

"William, don't be so quiet and mopey today, this is the 1st time you have come to a zoo, look at this..." The mother of the family said to the young man. He sighed and didn't answer her, barely glancing at the monkey.

If William could describe his life with a sentence, he would say; An impossible, exciting yet boring annoyance.

Impossible? He had been reborn in the past, dying in the year 2023 and waking up as a baby in the year 1971.

Exciting? He was dubbed a genius from young and had a PhD in physics and a master degree in electronics from Oxford with the highest evaluation. In the past 2 years of his life, he had made 300 million dollars by inventing the DVD ahead of its time and had the rights to it; He had made a company and sold DVD's to countless buyers over the globe, its sales were going to reach billions of dollars soon. Furthermore, he had bought lots of shares in companies like Apple and Disney that were going to explode later in the future.

Boring? Because he was reborn with his memories, his childhood years were incredibly mind-numbing to the point it had driven him close to madness many times. Especially since there was no entertainment like the modern world... After those years, he didn't care about anything much, only to make money and enjoy life. It had scarred him in a way...

Annoying? He was reborn in 1971, enough said. The way of life was extremely inconvenient compared to 2023.

Why he didn't care about the zoo? It was simple, he had better things to do than come to the zoo. He had begun preparing to retire and travel the world and enjoy life to the fullest for the rest of his life. He had made a lot of money and since he knew the future, he knew what to do to make it grow exponentially. From buying certain company stocks, to bitcoin and Ethereum, to etc.

There was no need for him to try hard, he had no great ambition since he was already quite famous, and he was very rich. The process of choosing a capable person to take over the DVD company etc. had begun. He wanted to get over it as soon as possible and begin a new chapter in his life.

He briefly glanced at his family and sighed, he always felt awkward around them. One reason was because he couldn't really accept them as his family as he remembered his family from his past life, the other part was the childhood memories that constantly flashed in his head when he looked at them. Despite that, they had raised him, and he loved them in his own way.

"William, will you watch over your sister? We want to take a few pictures there..." His father said, a middle-aged man with a big belly and warm smile.

"Sure... Come Sophie..." He said and took his sister's hand and began walking ahead. She curiously looked at the snakes, not really paying attention.

"Mommy, Daddy! Come here. You won't believe what this snake is doing!" Someone shouted, they both turned and saw a boy standing and leaning against the glass at looking at a Boa. Another boy on the ground.

William frowned as he paid attention to them, for some reason, he found it strangely familiar, as if he had seen this before. He experienced a very powerful sense of Déjà vu.

Suddenly the glass disappeared as if it had not existed, the boy leaning on it fell inside into the water in front of the snake, while the other one laughed slightly.

Sophie gasped and William froze in shock, disbelief on his face.

The Boa slithered out and intelligently nodded to the boy on the ground, the boy said some nonsense he could not understand, and the Boa turned away.

"AHHHH!" Sophie screamed as the snake approached them, William dragged her out of the snake's way and watched silently as it slithered away. Panic and screams spread everywhere. Everyone began running around, except him.

His face was blank as he turned and saw something that confirmed his suspicions. The glass was back on, the boy who had fallen in was now trapped in behind the glass.

His eyes grew wide as his hand began trembling, "This can't be...!" He muttered with utter shock.

He was broken out of it by Sophie hugging his leg tightly, he kneeled and hugged her and when she calmed down a little he stood up, walked to the boy who was on the ground. While ignoring the panic and screams everywhere.

He extended his hand, it was slightly trembling as his gaze was fixed on the boy's face and glasses.

'There is no doubt about it...' He thought.

The boy took it and stood up with a smile, "Thanks..." The smile deflated when the boy looked behind William.

William ignored the man who stood behind him, "I am William Silver, pleasure to meet you."

He listened with extreme attention as the boy nodded and said, "Harry Potter..." That's all he paid attention to, the name echoed in his mind like thunder.

"Let's go boy!" The furious man dragged Harry away, followed by the rest, William only stood there and watched it happen with a blank look. Sophie still in his arms, she had yet to let go of him.

Just as his parents arrived, William laughed, 'So I was reborn in a fictional world! A world of magic! Harry Potter! And here I was wasting my life, how unlucky am I to be a muggle?! I can't accept this...' He thought as unwillingness appeared in his eyes.

'I have always wanted to learn magic, bend reality to my will, and achieve the impossible from before I was reborn. I refuse to remain a muggle...' He thought with determination as plans formed in his head.

"I deny this destiny." He muttered with conviction.
