Chapter 7: Jimmy Morningstar
The kids of the Morningstar family lined up in front of the gate. A lady in EWF uniform giving them basic instructions of what to do.
"You all know what to do. So just enter the gate and select the alter of awakening. DO NOT SELECT THE ALTAR OF WAR. I repeat DO NOT SELECT THE ALTAR OF WAR. When you select the alter of awakening it will ask for the Token of Change. Provide the ToC that has been given to you. Then you will be able to enter the alter room. There will be a big circular altar. Sit in the middle of the alter. The awakening will automatically start. After completing you guys will get the brand on the wrist. Like this."
After saying this she shows her brand.
"After getting this brand. Just way backward to the gate and you will arrive here safely. Do not try to play around and don't do anything funny. There are still many things we don't know. So you may die for your action."
"After all these do you see the machine beside me. Here is this one. Put your hand inside the whole and active your brand by thinking about it. Your brand will be activated and your affinity and talent will be registered in the EWF Ranker directory. As you guys are from the MS family your data will not be shared with the public. So don't worry. Now go on."
After finishing her instruction she told kids to go one by one.
In the upper section of the EWF London Office, all the bigshots are keeping a tab on this group. Maybe someone like the princess or Sean appears here.
One by one they enter and exits the gate. Till now the lowest affinity was 3 and the highest was 5 affinity but no one awakens a talent.
A kid name Joe MS awaken a rare affinity gravity. She awakens a level 5 gravity affinity. It was enough for her to enter a top-tier university or guild.
Next, a kid name Ray awakens a water affinity and a talent name "Pristine Water". It's a healing type of talent. It is very popular among the support type rankers. You have to know a battle can't be won without healers. So the demand for this talent among guilds or EWF is quite high.
Next it was Jimmy's turn. He is quite excited and scared. He is excited because a new chapter of his adventure is starting now and scared because if the talent or affinity is low the journey will be finished before starting.
Jimmy nervously walks the stairs and stands in front of the gate. When he reaches the gate a popup window appears before his eyes, which only he can see. There are five option

4. Altar of Redemption
5. Altar of War
6. Altar of Ascension
Without hesitation, he chooses option 1.
A new window appeared.
Enter the Gate with your Token of Change.
Jimmy enters the semitransparent gate with the ToC in his hand. He just passes without any obstruction but the ToC in his hand magically vanishes from his hand.
After entering he sees a big room and in the center, there is a big circular colorful altar. He starts to wake towards the altar and sits in the center.
Just when he sits a multicolor pillar of light surrounds him and the feeling is quite magical. It's very soothing and he feels some changes have been occurring within him. After a brief passing time he opens his eyes and a new circular brand appears on his right wrist.
He knew whats next. So he promptly activates his brand in his mind a screen appears before his eyes.

ECR increases by 50% if the host is in a dark place or place filled with metallic essence.

1. Shadow Warrior(Level 1): Can create a show knight which will have an equal amount of Strength of the host but half agility. The number of the warrior can be increased as the level increases.

After seeing his status Jimmy was on the moon. He does give a fuck about his sorry agility or intelligence, rather he has two peak-level affinities and among them, one is super rare – Dark affinity. But the most incredible news is he has talent. A Superior talent with two talent arts.
You should know the talent is very rare but a talent that has two talents art is super rare. Among the most powerful rankers, many of them do not have a talent with two art. He is currently feeling euphoria in his mind.
He quickly comes out of the gate. As soon as he comes out all the eyes are on him. Everyone knows his identity. He is a son of a senate and his last name is Morningstar. These two are enough to make him the center of attention.
As soon as he comes out an instructor step forward and asks him, "Did you awaken a talent?"
He is a member of the MS family so he is more concerned than others. Jimmy gives him his trademark smile and nobs his head. He is too excited to talk. After getting Jimmy's confirmation he quickly leads him to the register machine and tells him to put his hand inside and activate the brand. As Jimmy does the task his information about his talent and affinity is reported to the higher-ups.
Inside the office, Richard and Jonathan are waiting eagerly. They saw Jimmy entering the gate. So they are waiting for the results.
After seeing the affinity and talent everybody becomes silent. The result is good, way good than they had expected. Affinity or Elecemnts maybe not be in the topmost category but the overall combination is truly fearsome.
He can be the world's most powerful assassin with his talent. But knowing his child's personality Richard knows it's hopeless. Jimmy is just the opposite of an assassin. Nevertheless, he is very happy.
Patric could not help but gasp, " Richard you lucky bastard. You got a powerful son you old fool. He awakens a freaking good talent and dual peak affinity. Among them, one is super rare."
Gerard, " The direct bloodline of your family is truly fearsome. All the kids are incredible. It's good. Good for what's coming"
Patric, " Shut your trap, Gerard. Kids are here. Anyway, Richard, tell me what is your plan with your kid? Where will you send him? "
Richard, "I don't know. Everything depends on Lilith. She will make the decision for the kids. I will tell her about Jimmy now."
Jonathan, " Uncle wait for Ruby. After knowing her result you can inform aunt. I think it will be better."
Richards, "Right right right. I will do that."
They all stare ast the screen. On the screen, Ruby is walking towards the gate.
