Chapter 2: The New Era
Year NE (New Era) 207, it's been 207 years after the cube appeared on earth. A new calendar named "New Era Calendar" was introduced by EWF. They want to erase the dark history of humankind and start a new journey for the race. So the New Era Calendar was introduced. And it was really a brand New Era.
In NE 001, after the disappearance of the outer barrier, scientists found that in every cube or temple, there is a gate, or you can say a portal. All over the world, the portals are presents. When an expedition team was formed to explore the portal, they found that after entering the portal any type of signal for communication was getting lost.
After 2 years of the experiment they found that after crossing the gate, each person was separated even if they enter a group. They encounter a black room. Nothing was visible there. A Screen was popped up in front of them. There are 6 options.

Among the options the 1st one and the 5th are green and the 2nd to 4th are grey. The last is Black. After years of work, they found that apart from the 1st and 5h option, the others will need some kind of points to select the option as there was a pop-up window stating that "Insufficient Points". The last is need a certain level to access. There was another restriction on the 1st and 5th options. The 1st and 5th options are green but to select the options one needs to be 16 years old at minimum.
In 200 years' humans have secured a total of 16 portals all over the earth's surface. There are other portals but they are in deep-sea or the depth of forest where the radiation is too high for humans to enter and there are many deadly beasts or carnivore's plants. It's too risky. In Central Continent, there are 3 portals, Easter Continent has 5 portals, Norther Continent has 4 portals and Sothern Continent has 4 portals.
Every year, all over the world, a day is selected known as Awakening Day. It's a day where all the human children at the age of 16 or above go to the portals according to the Country they belong to. The parents and children came to Earth from all corner of the solar system, in hope that their child can awaken a talent and so that can admit to the worlds powerful colleges or guilds or organization. But accruing a talent from the awakening ceremony is close to none. Each year millions of kids came with dreams of achievements but really smashed their hope ruthlessly. The awakening of talent is one in a million. So a handful number of kids had a chance. But none the less it's the biggest day of their life because apart from accruing a talent they all awaken their elemental affinity. A powerful element or a strong affinity towards an element can make anybody powerful. So with hope and dream came from all corners.
Each year a particular day was selected because to start the ceremony inside a cube or gateway, energy was needed. The first 100 awakening was free of cost but after that, all awakening needed a token referred to by humans as "Token of Change" aka ToC. It will give to each teen by the Federation as all the cube was monopolized by them. Each time someone entered the gate they have to pay some points as a Tax. These points are used to collect various items and of course, ToC from the redemption alter. As you all know nothing is free. Federations do not distribute ToC for free it befitted the Federation by producing more Powerfull Ranger(That's the awakened called) so that they cal venture inside the cube from power and the Federation will get tax for each round. It's a win-win situation for both. Thus its all started the new Era, an Era ruled by Power, not Money. If you have the strength the world will bow to you if not you will bow to it.
