Arcane: Road To Perfection

Years ago there was a civil war that lead to the success of one side and the bigger downfall of another. Piltover, a thriving city won the civil war and now runs everything. Then there's the Undercity , a place where people are forced to scavenge and thrive off of dirty money or else they won't survive. Overtime the underground formed a rebellion and started fighting for freedom against the upside piltover city. will this conflict resolve? Or will it lead to more devastation? (Yes this is a fanfic, the characters are not mines and this was heavily inspired by the show arcane on Netflix. However there are two original characters that will shape a different story than the one you know. Thanks!)

Part 27 - Explosive Pain

One of the firelight members approached Ekko inside of the firelight hideout. It was the girl with the poofy hair. "I think it's time that I get back to Topside." The girl mentioned to Ekko, who turned around and looked at her. "Are you sure Sky?" Ekko asked.

The firelight members then took her mask off, revealing that she was Viktors assistant. "Yeah..I think I'll have enough evidence that Viktor wants the Undercity destroyed. Plus, they'll probably get suspicious if I'm away any longer." Sky explained to Ekko.

Ekko then nodded his head in response. "Be careful." Ekko said to her.

"Ofcourse." Sky responded, before walking off.

During that, Jayce and Viktor were sitting inside of a restaurant within the Topside, with plates of food infront of the both of them. "It's great that we're able to talk again." Jayce acknowledged, causing Viktor to smile slightly. "It's kind of crazy that you're able to walk again. Leave it to my partner to figure out something like that." Jayce mentioned with a smile, before he started eating some of the food infront of him.

Viktor smirked, though his smile quickly faded as Jayce started eating his food. He proceeded to stare down at Jayce with a deep gaze. "These are important times. I'm sure you have a lot to discuss with the council. Do you even know who committed the recent attacks?" Viktor said, and questioned, before taking a sip from his cup.

Jayce finished eating, and wipes his mouth with a towel, before responding to Viktor. "We believe it's someone called Jinx. I'm not sure who she may be connected with, but it's pretty much confirmed that she lives in the Undercity. That's why all the enforcers went there. And those enforcers guarding the bridge are now just to keep Undercity civilians out of the Topside." Jayce explained to Viktor, who listened in closely.

"Oh-speaking of which. Have you heard anything from Sky? Yesterday she went into the Undercity, and I'm not sure if she's been back yet." Jayce asked in a slightly worried tone.

Viktors eyes widened for a second after the question from Jayce. But afterwards, he smiled, and nodded his head slowly. "She's back, yes." Viktor responded, putting some ease on Jayce's worry. "We should enjoy the rest of our meal." Viktor suggested with a smile, and the two continued eating together at the table.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn and Silco still waited to see who would come out from the smoke. As the footsteps grew closer, so did the anxiousness of who's to come. "Oh get up, the explosion wasn't thattt bad." With a familiar voice following directly behind the footsteps, Caitlyn and Silco quickly caught on to who it was.

As Jinx walked through the door, it was revealed that the rings around her eyes were darker, and her hair was also messier. With a few more loose hairs sticking out.

As Jinx laid eyes on the wide eyed Silco, she began chuckling while holding on to her stomach. Obviously pretending not to laugh. "I didn't even know you were on the floor because of all the smoke. Guess I know you better than I thought." She said with a laugh, as both Caitlyn and Silco watched her as if she was crazy.

"What happened to my guards, Jinx?" Silco asked, as he slowly started to lean up from his laying position. Caitlyn quickly reflected on how she took out the guards with tranquilizers.

"Who knows." She shrugged it off nonchalantly as Caitlyn grew more surprised. Immediately afterwards, Jinx walked up to Silco with her gun in hand, and intimidating smile. "I've always been a bit of a wild card haven't I?" She squatted down infront of him, as she said those words.

Silco looked more than shocked at Jinx. "Where did you go? I sent people to find you, but you weren't at your hideout. The weapon and your other belongings were gone." Silco acknowledged, as Jinx smiled and rotated the gun around her finger so carelessly.

"Well obviously I must've left then right? Kind of crazy how I was the one used to getting left, now I'm the one that left." jinx said with a chuckle, and a flicker of the eyelids. "That aside-you lied to me. More than once." Jinx said those words, as her intimidating glare grew. She noticed the needle that Silco used to inject shimmer into his eye, which she grabbed and moved up to his face.

"I didn't-" Before Silco could get his sentence out, Jinx poked his face with the needle. While Caitlyn watched from above in strong uneasiness.

"Don't talk until I say you can." Jinx demanded as she stared deeply into Silcos eyes. The fear behind of Silcos eyes grew, as he looked back into Jinxs eyes. "You told me my sister was dead..and what about that recording? I always thought I listened to it in its entirety because well-you led me to think that. Am I the idiot for believing you?" Jinx questioned as she continued poking Silco in the face with the needle, making him sigh in pain.

"I'm sorry. I wanted to get them out of your head so you could focus..I didn't want them to get into your head like I allowed Vander to get into mines..call me his brother, then try to kill me!" Silco yelled out, as he leaned up more and more. While Jinx continued looking at him unfazed. "Don't you get it? They ALL betrayed you. Violet, Silver, Lucy. That's why I tried to kill them. I almost got Silver but he came back from that ridiculous shimmer experiment. Did you not see that for yourself? Your sister was with an enforcer, Jinx!" Silco yelled out, as Jinx unfazed expression changed into a more saddened and conflicted one.

"No.." Jinx said with a lowered head, and eyelids that are flickering more and more. "No.." She continued mumbling, as Silco continued getting louder in her ear. Telling her that Violet betrayed her, and replaced her with the enforcer. Silco continued telling Jinx those words despite her composure decreasing. "No!" Jinx screamed out loud, with her gun pointed directly up Silcos chin.

"She was there for me, not that stupid enforcer! I'm not gonna let you get into my head with your lies." Jinx said, despite hearing and seeing things from the day of her and Vis reunion.

Jinx quickly stood up, and looked around the floor for something. Once her eyes landed on the recording device that had the conversation between Silver and Lucy, she picked it up and played it. "Let's hear it.." Jinx said while staring at Silco who remained on the floor.

After listening to the audio in full, Silco sat in defeat. While Jinx seemed more conflicted than before. "It's not like it matters.." Jinx said, surprising Silco and Caitlyn. Jinx then threw the recording device on the ground, and shot it.

Afterwards, she went from place in Silcos office. Sitting on Silcos tipped over desk, leaning against the wall, or sitting down on the floor. All while she talked and mumbled to herself and whoever she's hearing. "She's still with Silver. She's been talking with Silver all that time. Why would she talk with him for so much after what he did? That explains where she'd sneak off too all the time. And she held that from me for years." Jinx talked to her own self, with furrowed eyebrows, and a tight grip on her gun.

Afterwards, her expression softened. "Maybe..maybe Vi doesn't know what Silver did yet." She mumbled while staring in deep thought.

"You're still-" Silco was beginning to say something with an angered tone, before Jinx squatted down and put her arm around his shoulder.

"Stop acting like you care. You've been lying to me since I was little. Now I'm going to see something for myself. You wait here and get your rest. You are pretty old." Jinx said in a threatening and sarcastic way, despite the smile. She then stood up, and walked out of the room with a more serious stare. Silco watched her in a worried tone, though he was speechless to do anything.

As she left, a bomb attached to Silcos back exploded.

The explosion was just enough to knock him unconscious. Not enough to kill. Caitlyn had to brace for impact from the explosion, all while Jinx walked off without a single flinch.
