2 Chapter 2 - MLB System

As Willow's mind processed the influx of information, she felt the newfound power coursing through her very being like a surging river, settling down to a calm flow.

It was as if the Nexus itself had chosen her as its vessel, bestowing upon her abilities beyond mortal comprehension— yet she did not know why.

The raw and untamed power settled within her, almost as if it had never been there to begin with—but she could feel it.

Willow could feel her connection to the Nexus, like a symbiotic bond, and she could feel the Nexus' existence within her, allowing her access to a portion of its abilities.

Abilities it had catered to her specifications.

A System, something that she knew all too well from her previous world and that worked best in such a situation.

The Nexus had created a system based on a popular game she had played in her previous life— one that she had spent thousands of hours playing simply for the thrill of it.

Mobile Legends; Bang Bang.

It was a game much like LoL but for the mobile community— something she preferred. It allowed her to move around more easily and play with it when she wanted with ease.

That, along with the gameplay, was some of the main reasons she was so invested into the game— even going so far as to have spent hundreds of dollars on the game.

Regardless of her dark past— she was more invested in the system that she had gained.

While the Nexus had given her some information about it— seeing it for herself was always better than simply knowing about it. So, without further waiting, she called for it to come to her.

'System.'

With a silent prompt from her mind, the semi-transparent screen of the system appeared before her eyes— and only for her eyes.

[Name: Willow Bolbok

Age: 13

Race: Human (70%) / Vellox (30%)

Titles: Daughter of House Bolbok

Energy: 20

Strength: 5

Durability: 6

Agility: 8

Mental: 12

-----------

Heroes: N/A

-----------

Items: N/A

-----------

Emblems: N/A]

There were multiple sections that had appeared, but Willow decided to check out the basic one first— the Status.

This screen gave her a rundown of everything she had, along with her stats.

Looking over the screen, she was pleased with what she had, not because it was great, but because it wasn't bad.

Firstly, starting from the top, she made her way down.

Her name was correct— she was a member of Bolbok family, with her grandfather being on the Council. This also granted her the title— after all her family were nobles.

Her ages was how long she had lived in this world; 13 years. A time that was neither long nor short but felt like a lifetime ago after everything that had happened so far.

The part that did surprise her, however, was her race— she was primarily human, but she was also a Vellox— something she had no clue about.

However she wasn't completely suprised by this due to something from her childhood. She had overheard her grandfather and father talking about his past one time by accident— mentioning the fact that his race was driven close to extinction by mages of the past.

This was also in line with what she had remembered from the Arcane series, where he had used it as a point in his distaste for Hextech.

Ultimately, she held no information about it, and the system did not provide any, so for the time being, she could do little.

Moving on to stats, she was pleased.

Her stats were all above average for her age aside from strength. From the information the Nexus had granted her; she had learned that 10 was the average capabilities of a human adult— physically that is.

Whereas 5 was the average capability for a human child.

Energy and Mentality were different as they varied from person to person— Mentality essentially reflects one's ability to learn and process information, such as wisdom, intelligence, and so forth.

Energy, on the other hand, was essentially mana— but to her, it was called Energy since her system allowed her to adapt to the different types of energy sources.

With that in mind— her stats were all good. She even had a somewhat high Energy stat from her perspective.

Granted, she had nothing to base it on.

Glancing her eyes down at the rest of the screen she couldn't help but sigh— they were all empty because she hadn't gained any of them.

She did know what they meant though— not only because of the Nexus' information but also because she was a player of MLB.

Heroes represented the heroes she had unlocked and the powers she could draw from them; by unlocking a hero she would not only gain some stats in their main attribute but she would also gain all their skills.

This meant she would gain all their active abilities, their passive, their basic attack, and any other capabilities they might have.

This was great because heroes could be stacked— and she could use multiple at once.

Below were items; this relied on another function the system had, but in essence, she could buy and equip items from the system. Equipped items would grant her various benefits and buffs— they were, after all, items from the game.

And lastly was Emblems.

MLB had a system where people could unlock and level up emblems to gain a variety of passive benefits; to do so, she needed two different forms of system currencies.

As she had neither for the time being— she could only leave it locked.

'Not too shabby— onto the other screen; Shop.'

=========================

In case anyone is confused, the race part is made up on my part; it's not the cannon race.

To be exact; while it was revealed that he isn't human and he wasn't a cyborg to begin with, his race was never revealed. I'm using this race because I thought the lack of information on them suited my needs.

I don't know if I have made this clear already; But I'm no expert on LoL Lore. I barely know anything.

I am a big fan of Arcane and would like to do a fan-fic base on it, but it's in LoL; as such I'm using a mixture of Wiki information, Youtube, and other Novels to get my LoL Lore.

I hope you understand and enjoy, feel free to suggest lore points that may align with the story, or clarify things I'm not sure of.
