1 Arakan Chapter One

The stars started to fade at the first crack of dawn. As the sun rises a baby's cry can be heard from miles away. As the baby was born the bells from the castle rung in the new day. The mother and father were so happy that their son just came into the world. It seemed as if the sun would shine forever. However, forever didn't last as long. Not even a few minutes after the baby had been born, he was torn away from his mother's arms and carried away. The baby was taken far away to unknown lands. Until he was left at the doorstep of a village surrounded by trees, snow, and unknown monsters in the deserted land. He was deserted in the lost village called Eraba reta tochi. The baby was taken in by a couple who couldn't have their own children. They named the boy Arakan.
