Misunderstandings

"Actually jack... the reason i came here was to find my parents..." lucy replied

"Find your parents?? What do you mean??"

"Actually.... i was born in Korea and somehow i ended up in india in my home.... my parents recently told me the secret about my birth and now i came in search for them.."

"Oh... i am sorry for that"

"Ahh please don't be.... i am going to find them....besides that was the reason i came here.."

"Can i help you some how?? Do you know where they live?? Their name??"

"No.."

"Mmmm do you atleast have their photos??"

"No" she replied putting her face down to the ground

"Ok then what do you have regarding them... something the possess?? Or any information??"

"Nothing" she answerd embarrassed

"What?? Then how do you plan on finding them??"

"I don't know.... i have to think of some way to find them... and that was the answer for your first question"

"Then why did you come here?? You don't have any information about your parents.... you don't have a place to stay.... nor can you afford it... you know nothing about this country.... moreover you are a girl..... how did you dare to come here??"

"I just wanted to start it some how"

"You could have died here if i hadn't meet you that day..."

"I know and i am really great full for that"

"Come on lucy!! What were you even thinking coming her all alone"

"I.."

"How can you be so reckless??" Jack was angry because he thought lucy was impulsive

"I did not have any choice"

"You didn't have any choice?? You already had a family back in india?? Why did you have to come out immediately... you could have gathered some more information about them and then you could have come here... please don't say you didn't have any choice?? Are you even greatfull for your parents?? They brought you up for so long but once you came to know about your real parents you just came right away??.... how can you be like that.... i even thought you were a considerate girl"

"Jack !! What are you doing .... look at the time... go sleep... you can discuss whatever you want tomorrow... now go to bed" shouted Mrs.Robertson from her bedroom

"Ok mom...but lucy i truly am disappointed"

Lucy felt really bad and jack was really angry. He left to his bedroom

"I was driven out..." mumbled lucy

The next morning Mrs.Robertson and nala left early to do some work... it was jack and lucy alone at home... lucy was still in her room ... jack was waiting for her to explain something but she was not out since the night... so he went up to check...

When he entered the room he saw lucy near the window listening to songs as usual... jack was even angry now as he was expecting her to explain about the last night while she totally ignored him...

"Lucy!!"

"Jack?? What can i do for you??"

"Don't you think you have something to explain??"

"What is it??"

"Ohh!! Now we are playing dumb huh??"

"What is it jack??"

"Why did you leave india without any plan or resource??"

"I had my reasons jack... and i hope you give me my privacy!!"

"No matter what the reasons were.... you were just ungrateful in my eyes"

"I don't care what you think about me jack.... as i already said... i had my reasons!!"

"Then i don't think i can let you stay here anymore!!"

"Ok then i will leave..."

"Now!!"

"In a minute!!"

Lucy moved out as a matter of self respect.... but jack felt like something was not right... he felt like she was hiding something.... and that made him feel restless... even though he did not want to admit it... deep in he did not feel well....

When Mrs.Robertson and nala asked for lucy he said she left due to some emergency.... both of them felt bad as they were not there when she left... but jack consolidated them

But jack felt bad..... he felt bad for throwing her out all alone in this new country....

Whilst lucy was roaming in the city... she looked up for a part time job in a convenience store... she also got a job in a reputed hotel... her life was almost settled except for a place to stay.... she stayed in the store room of the convenience store she worked for....

Mrs.Robertson found a dairy of lucy's in her room... she gave it to jack asking him to return it to her.... jack put it on his bed and it somehow opened... he read a single word... a word led to a sentence.... a sentence led to a page... before he even realised... he had completed the whole dairy....

The dairy was all about her life... she had maintained it for years and it had records of her everyday happenings...

It told about her life... how miserable it was... how hard it was for her to get thorough everyday.... how her parents hurt her... how they treated her as a piece of waste.... how they used her.... how she wasn't allowed to do anything but music.... how her sister put all the blames on her... and how they punished her for that....how she always wanted them to acknowledge her but they always rejected her.... how hard she tried to make them accept her but she failed... how she had no room of her own and had to live in the basement..... how she envied the other childern when they speak about their families... how she wanted the love of her family.... EVERYTHING

The diary also had mentioned that she did not come out on her own but was cast outside..... how she had to work in order to come to korea....

After reading this diary.... jack felt really disappointed... he blamed himself for misunderstanding her.... he felt like he was partial to her family before knowing the whole story.... he was sad because he judged her without knowing her side of story... he decided to ask her for her forgiveness..... so he went in search of her....

Days passed.... he wasn't able to find her..... on the other hand... lucy had already settled down... she got a job in a prestigious hotel as a chef... she rented a home near the hotel...

Lucy met a police officer in the hotel and they somehow became friends.... with his influence lucy got the address of people who have filed complaint on missing children before 18 years.... she decided to look for them this way.... she hoped to find them in any of these households.....

This was the first day she was going to find her family.... lucy was super excited... she was really nervous too.... she was overwhelmed with happiness but sunk in the ocean of fear too.... but she decided to face it.... she had a lots and lots of expectations for this household... when she reached there.... the house was empty.... she didn't loose hope.... she tried the second house... the third... the fourth....twentieth....thirtieth....fortieth..... the gods of luck were not on her side...

Looking for her family was not her only work she also had to work in the hotel for her living... so she thought of looking for them in the morning and working at night time.... she was pretty exhausted from all the work and travel and rejection...

This was the last chance she has got from her police friend.... she had put all her hope into this last chance.... she wanted it to be true... she prayed with all her heart for it to be true....

She worked really hard the last night... got ready as soon as she reached home... she started getting ready.... she felt as if her temperature has risen a little but she totally ignored it and left the house....

The boarded the bus hoping to reach there soon... she had also planned to sleep a little in the bus during her travel... but the fear of it being a dead end too made her restless..... this was her longest journey she had ever had in her whole life.... each and every moment was agonising for her.... the scenery that always healed her seemed to be tired of her.... she felt as if the whole world had turned its back on her.... she wanted it to be true but she was also afride about facing the truth after knowing the truth... she had no idea about how to react if it was true because she had already got used to be rejected.... but on the other hand if it was true she will get her family back... the one thing she had always hope to have..... she was totally confused and restless.... she also had the fear of being not accepted even if it was her real family..... she even thought of turning back... but she was pushed by an unknown force.... deep in her heart she wanted to see it for herself.
