5th day
days passed.... all the members trained really hard.... they had no time to slack off... the trained for day and night....they made sure they will not make a single mistake... everything was going as per plan... they were so happy with the song....
it was the 5th day... the day of the press conference..... all of them went to bed early the previous night as they had to be energetic for the next day....
Lucy and Damon woke up early as usual... they skipped running that day because they did not want to be spotted by anyone... to compensate that.. they had to work out a little more.... after all the work out both of them went up.... Stephen and Jeremy were also up.... Lucy prepared them breakfast... after finishing the breakfast... the members got on a car.... it was a simple and small car.... the driver at the front... Stephen near him... Damon, Jeremy and Lucy at the back....
"are you nervous?" Lucy heard a voice from the front..
"oh God Stephen... i am flustered.... i am really scared..."
"calm down Lucy..... we will take care of it.... you can be yourself....but just watch what you say..." Damon tried to calm her down...
"But some reporters are nasty.... beware of them... they will keep pushing you to say something bad... but you should not fall into their trap..."
"oh Jeremy are you trying to scare me so that I will pass out.... if yes believe me... it is perfectly working..."
"But don't worry... because we know how to deal with them... just make sure you don't loose your temper..."
"well loosing her temper will not be a problem for Lucy... we just have to take care of Stephen in that case.." Damon wanted to brighten the mood..
"Why?? does Stephen loose him temper on the press??" Lucy was curious
"oh a hell lot of times... that is why the press never play any tricks on him.... "
"wow.. but i have never seen Stephen loose his temper..."
"trust me you don't want to see it..." Jeremy and Damon had seen it a lot of times... so they know what happens when he looses his temper...
"yes... beware of me..."
The members started laughing.... before they even realised... they were at the back door of the Apple entertainment... their office....the members got down and went in thought the back door...
it was Lucy's first time to the office.... she was looking around as she was walking...
"oh.. this is the first time you are here right??" asked Jeremy
"yes... the contract signing was also done at my home only... so this is the first time i am here..."
"Don't worry... we will find a chance to show you around after your debute..." Damon assured her..
the members arrived at their room...
"here we are... this is our room... come on in Lucy...."
"wow... see this... BEAST.... how classy it is....oh God it is eye Stealing...."
"Come on in... the conference starts in 1 hour... we have to get ready before that.."
"But.. where is mann??"
"mann...oh he will be running like a head less chicken right now... he has a lots of work to do... we might see him in half an hour or we will see in on the stage...."
"oh my goodness... manager works are really tiring... i feel sad for mann.."
"Don't worry... our mann is a lot strong and reliable than you think..."
The members got ready.... they guys were awesome and Lucy was totally dolled up...
their base colour was Black and Red... the guys wore a fashionable pant and shirt.... while Lucy wore a short red top with a black lace... she was breathtaking....
the members were in awe seeing her dress up.... the red and black suited her really well for her brown eyes and black hair... they complemented each other so well...she looked so classy yet cute and beautiful....
while the guys were lost in her beauty... mann burst in the room....
"hufff.. huff" he was breathing heavily... as he was in such a hurry...
"thank goodness you guys are here... and looks like you are ready too... i got no information about and I decided you guys were not here.... but very good... you are ready.."
"have some faith in us mann... " complained Damon...
"sorry about that... now then all of you are ready right... then let us start.. the press members are waiting outside.. and Lucy remember about everything we told you... you can do it.. all the best..."
"ok mann..."
Lucy was super nervous.... her heart beat was rushing like an electric train... Jeremy realised she was nervous... he came near her.... held her hand slowly.... her hands were cold as ice.... he held it with both his hands.... took it near his chest and placed it on him...looked at her clear eyes and told her....
"calm down....you are not alone in this... they are just people...just like us... people who are working to make themselves some bread and butter.... you have four strong people to protect you from now... don't take everything by yourself.... it will be alright..."
Damon put his hand over her shoulder....
"no matter what they say today.... you are who you are... and we know who you are... Jack will be waiting for you out there...and we will be beside you all the time... so rest assured.."
Stephen put his hand over her other shoulder...
"if anything doesn't go as per your plan just give us a hint... we will swoop in and make sure it goes through the right path...you are not obliged to answer every one of their question... just be yourself...."
Lucy felt warm.... all her worries vanished into thin air.... she felt protected.... she had a new boost of confidence... she felt like she could do anything with their support...she felt like she had a new family.... the house she built for Jack and herself in her heart now added three more pillars to it... her family got stronger and bigger...
mann felt really happy seeing this....he was really worried about the members not accepting her.... but they not only accepted her... but understood her... he was over the seventh cloud...
"guys now is the time to get on the stage...i will get going..."
mann went on to the stage.... started the conference with some pleasantries....
"now let us welcome our stars on to the stage.. Stephen the leader of the group.... Damon the lead guitarist.... Jeremy the lead drummer....."
All the cameras started to shatter like crazy.... the flashes were like a stars twinkling in the night sky...
The members came in consecutively as he called their name...
"and our new member..... our lead singer ..... Lucy...."
Lucy entered on the stage....
All the cameras stopped taking pictures.... the members started murmuring to each other....
the members and mann knew they would speak something.... but they did not expect it to be so severe....
