Frost Wolf

Mei Yue was in deep thought going over the pro and cons of these two new abilities as usually, anyone who could grasp this type of fortune would throw their body down a mountain because they wouldn't think about the precautions.

The thing that frustrated Mei Yue was still in his way, lack of strength...

Mei Yue let out a deep sigh as he exited his sea of consciousness. Opening his eyes once more he was welcomed by the sight of the three ancient gods' memories floating inside the cauldron.

"Haha once again the same problem reappears in front of me, until I get stronger I can't remove the barriers surrounding the orbs and integrate with them."

From what he got from the pagoda, to obtain and merge with the memories he would have to increase his cultivation ultimately raising his strength.

Luckily the first orb's requirement was for the Alchemy God; this requirement the cultivation wasn't too high nor too far as one needed to be in Profound Spirit Realm at the very least.

Though the same cannot be said for the other two, as for the Weapon-Refining God one needed to be in the True Spirit Realm at least, as for the last one which seemed like a distant dream one needed to be in Earth Spirit Realm.

Currently, Mei Yue was in the third stage of Elementary Spirit Realm. So he still had a long way before he would be able to utilize his 'fortunes'.

In a world of cultivation, only one thing matters... strength. Every single thing in this world ran based on strength whether you were a noble or a commoner. For nobles, it was a constant dogfight for status and strength and if one didn't have enough strength or status they were awaited by only one fate, to be swallowed by the abyss.

Though unfortunately, it doesn't end there, as naturally, humans are products of the seven sins, with the biggest sin being greed. Human's thirst for greed knows no bounds meaning they would stop at nothing to obtain what they want; though there is one exception, a stronger and more powerful backer that would make people shiver in fear. The bigger your backer is the more people would leave you alone as no one wants to poke the dragon in sheep's clothing.

Mei Yue knew there was no point in stressing about it, as no matter how much one overthought the situation it would remain the same until he did something about it, as of right now no use in crying over spoilt milk.

Exiting the Nine-Story Pagoda, Mei Yue was once again welcomed by the vast expansion of the magnificent world before him.

From the information he got from the stone podium, he knew that this vast world and even the Nine-Story Pagoda behind him can be used to store things inside.

Mei Yue could even raise a magical beast here in the world of the Heavenly Crown.

Though that wasn't in Mei Yue's plans as it seemed too much of a hassle, and a lot of misfortune.

Though one thing that benefited him was that he could plant herbs here and raise them even allowing the ability to reproduce the same herb.

In Myriad Dragon Country, in terms of storage, there were three options. A spatial pouch, or a spatial ring. One can store many things inside the spatial pouch and either hide it within your robe or hanging on your waist. Then there was the spatial ring usually a symbol for the rich as one can store things inside the ring and wear it on their fingers.

Of course, there was a reason a spatial ring was one of the symbols for the rich, since they were very hard to make, they were indeed rare which also increased their price astronomically, to the point only the rich could afford them.

As for the third option, If one wanted to store living plants or herbs, one needed a special spatial ring called the life spatial ring, but it is vastly rarer and more costly than regular spatial rings.

Getting out of his thoughts, Mei Yue only had one question currently.

'How do I get out?'

As if the world was listening to his thoughts, his vision turned black, before his vision returned within a second making him see a pure blue sky with no impurities. Staring at the sky for a second or two Mei Yue stood up. Standing up Mei Yue looked at his surroundings and found himself encircled with pure-black grass. Looking at the grass, he reached his hand out to touch it.

Suddenly as his fingertips touched the grass he felt a cooling sensation run throughout his body before disappearing.

Mei Yue cutely scrunched his eyebrows up, as he examined the grass, besides the cooling sensation, nothing else had happened. After a few seconds, he plucked out four to six stands of grass before putting them inside his world.

Mei Yue suddenly saw the strands disappear from his hands.

"Such a crazy day today..." Mei Yue said as he sighed.

Now that Mei Yue was free he rechecked his outer body. His hair was soft and fluffy like a wolf's, as the tips of his hair bent upwards slightly, it was white like pure snow. His height was probably the most drastic as he went from 6'1 (186 cm) to 6'8 (208 cm).

His body was slender and muscular yet elegant, his muscle were small almost not showing but inside each muscle contained great power.

Overall his appearance was similar to a female, and a male as if the two bodies merged perfectly in harmony. If one walked up to him it would be hard to discern if he were a man or a woman.

Thankfully he had the Veil of Eternal beauty otherwise who knows what disaster he should befall.

Getting the gist of his body quickly, he used wing manifestation as he felt slight pain between his shoulder blades before a pair of breathtaking wings shot out quickly expanding outward as if signifying their majestic return.

Sharp wings like cotton reach for the sky, that radiated in the sun.

His wings were white in color, unlike the devoured fallen angel wings. They were pure and exquisite as they matched perfectly with Mei Yue's hair. Each wing stood at exactly 8 ft with a total of a 16ft wingspan.

Mei Yue relaxed them causing them to coil inward behind his body like a shield.

"Not bad." Mei Yue mumbled as a smile subconsciously appeared on his face.

Mei Yue suddenly started flapping his wings, before taking off into the sky.

As he closed his eyes he enjoyed the cool breeze of air caressing the skin under his veil. Opening his eyes he found himself atop the cliff.

'Fast...' Mei Yue thought.

He floated in the sky for a few seconds before descending to the ground.

As his feet touched the ground his wings disappeared as he felt a wave of exhaustion run over him.

"Tsk... haaa~ Guess I can't use them for too long currently." Mei Yue sighed as he tried regaining his breath.

After a few seconds, his breathing became tranquil once more and the exhaustion slowly fading away.

"BOOOM!"

Not missing a beat the ground from under him shook greatly, with the sound of an explosion.

Piquing his curiosity he headed toward the sounds.

Mei Yue elegantly moved through the forest using the sounds as an indicator.

Slowly getting closer and closer, pieces of wood and rocks were flying everywhere.

One could imagine how intense the battle was.

arriving at the scene a large monster appeared in Mei Yue's line of sight. A four-meter-tall wolf, with sharp grey fur.

Mei Yue jumped inside a tree and hid behind the leaves silently watching.

"Frost wolf..." Mei Yue's eyes narrowed as he recognized the magical beast, a Frost wolf was a third-rank magical beast, equivalent to a True Spirit Realm expert.

Shifting his eyes away from the wolf he saw a young girl between seventeen and eighteen, wearing a blue and white hanfu that screamed nobility. Her face was beautiful and delicate jade-like skin, dainty hands, elegant charming legs, and quite a large peak that stood proudly.

An empire disaster...

Someone so beautiful and enchanting it could destroy empires.

Her beauty didn't deter Mei Yue as he was even more beautiful than her, so he sat silently wondering why such obvious nobility was out her alone without any guards.

Much more than that she was a True Spirit expert at such a young age, someone like that would have an army behind her to guard her.

Though he ignored that too and simply watched the fight with no intention of helping the girl.

"ROAR!"

The Frost Wolf let out a guttural roar as it stamped the ground making the floor in front of it become covered in frost.

The young girl was nimble like a fox as she agilely dodged the attack jumping to the side. Holding a sapphire long sword in her hand. With a light wave of her elegant wrist, a sharp sword qi shot forward specifically aimed at the Frost Wolf's weak eyes, stomach, and other vital areas targeted.

"BANG!"

Getting hit by the sword qi, it launched the Frost wolf into a large tree quite brutally causing the tree to become destroyed, and causing pieces of wood to fly through the air.

After the environment around the wolf became clear one could see its body covered with deep gashes and cuts as blood seeped out of the wounds dying the fur around it a deep red color.
